Welcome to your soul journaling session,
A meditative journaling experience.
Have your favorite journaling materials nearby,
And find a comfortable position for yourself to meditate and write in today.
Feel free to bring over any props you might need to feel nice and cozy,
Such as pillows or blankets.
You are welcome to close your eyes for the meditation portion of this practice.
Or you can find a fixed point ahead of you to gaze upon.
Let's start with a few deep breaths together to get grounded.
Begin by releasing any breath that you are holding,
And take a nice deep breath in.
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
And exhale,
Sigh it out.
Breathe naturally now in and out of the nose at your own rhythm and pace.
I invite you to imagine that there are roots growing from beneath you,
From any parts of you currently touching the ground or a surface beneath you.
These roots travel deep,
Deep down,
Connecting you to the center of the earth.
Perhaps there is a glowing ball of light there,
Or even a crystal at the center of the earth that you are connecting to.
Say to yourself or out loud,
Thank you Mother Earth and Ancestors for being with me today and helping me hear the wisdom of my soul.
Imagine now that there is a beautiful rose gold light flowing down like a waterfall from the sky,
The universe,
Above you.
Say to yourself or aloud,
Thank you Spirit Team for protecting and guiding me today.
Thank you for helping me hear the wisdom of my soul.
Focus on the light now as it illuminates the crown of your head.
This beautiful,
Warm light activates your inner wisdom,
Connecting you to your higher self.
The light then travels to your third eye.
Your intuition is activated.
The light moves down and settles into your heart space.
Here,
You feel and connect to your soul.
Say to yourself or aloud,
Thank you higher self for guiding me and allowing me to hear my intuition and inner wisdom.
Thank you soul for speaking your story through me and allowing me to hear your wisdom.
The light continues to flow.
It moves down your whole body,
Washing away and releasing anything you do not need to bring with you into this practice.
Say to yourself or aloud,
Thank you Spirit Team,
Higher Self and Soul for helping me release what doesn't serve me or this practice today.
Focus again on that light within your heart and take a deep breath in.
Exhale,
Sigh it out,
Letting that light shine outward.
Communication with your soul is now open.
Perhaps you even see this light reach your hands as you prepare to write.
The wisdom it carries is ready to flow through you and your writing.
When you are ready,
Gently return to your space,
Blink your eyes a couple times,
And then gather your journaling materials.
After I speak the question for your soul,
Go within and listen for the wisdom.
If it feels right in the moment,
Write down what comes to you.
This could be full sentences or phrases or just words.
Maybe you see an image and decide to doodle or sketch it out.
Do whatever feels right as it comes through.
If you're drawing a blank or you want some extra support,
Feel free to bring out a tarot or oracle card deck and draw a card to give your soul and intuition a little extra supportive nudge.
I will give you 3 minutes to journal with the music playing and of course feel free to journal longer if you feel called.
