Welcome to this free pregnancy relaxation track from you,

Me and baby.

I hope you enjoy listening and if you'd like any further information on how I can help you prepare for a positive birth,

Then get in touch with me,

Jenny Hassett.

Now I'd like for you to get yourself into a comfortable position and close your eyes.

Just close your eyes and relax.

Begin by focusing on your breathing.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Just listen and relax.

The only sound you need to focus on is my voice.

Just let any other sounds fade into the background.

Breathe in and out.

Deep breath in and out.

Just let all other thoughts escape and concentrate on your breathing.

Without thinking about it,

You will soon enter a deeply relaxed state.

It doesn't take any effort.

Just allow yourself to drift down.

You don't need to do anything.

Just listen and relax.

And it becomes less important for your conscious mind to listen to what I'm saying.

Let your subconscious take care of you,

Knowing that the room around you is peaceful and you are beginning to feel so relaxed.

And as you continue to focus on your breathing,

Start to allow your outward breath to become slightly longer than your inward breath.

This will signal to your body that it is time to relax.

You can do this by counting your inhale and exhale.

And you can adjust the count to whatever suits you.

You may choose to breathe in for four and breathe out for six.

Gradually increasing your exhale with each and every breath that you take.

So just spend a few quiet moments focusing on your breathing.

And now you are beginning to feel relaxed in both your body and your mind.

On your next inhale,

Take a really deep breath and experience that feeling of air filling your lungs and then releasing.

Taking with it any stress,

Any tension,

Any anxiety.

And now imagine your breath as a wave of relaxation.

Each breath washing over you and carrying away the day's worries or cares.

Each breath helping you to relax a little bit more.

After a while,

You can begin to take your attention from your breathing.

And you can start to focus on all the muscles around your forehead,

Temples and eyes.

As you do this,

You can allow all of these muscles to become thoroughly loose and limp.

Feeling those muscles beginning to melt into relaxation.

And the same quality of relaxation can drift down over the muscles around your cheeks and jaw.

As you give them permission to soften and loosen.

Releasing and letting go of any tension.

This soothing feeling of relaxation continues to spread down and around all of the muscles in your neck and throat.

Gently easing them into comfort.

And this same feeling of relaxation can drift down and around the muscles in your shoulders.

As you feel these muscles loosen and soften.

Dropping away from your neck as you release and let go of any tension.

As you feel your body relaxing more and more.

You feel your arms go completely loose and limp.

You may even feel a slight tingling sensation in your fingertips.

As any remaining tension simply seeps away.

The wave of relaxation then moves down across your chest and torso.

And you feel more and more calm.

More and more at ease.

As the wave washes over your abdomen.

Take a moment to imagine your baby enjoying this relaxation along with you.

See them curled up inside your womb.

Listening to your heartbeat.

This time spent relaxing together is so beneficial for you both.

Increasing your bond.

Allowing you both to look forward to the time when you will meet each other.

Looking forward to the future together.

The soothing feeling of relaxation continues down your hips,

Your thighs.

And all the way down to your legs,

To your feet and toes.

You may feel that slight tingling sensation in your toes.

As all the remaining tension finally melts away from you.

As you allow yourself to relax physically.

It's natural to find that your mind can relax too.

Your thoughts can begin to slow down.

And your imagination can become fluid and free.

You can picture your mind now as a vast and truly beautiful blue sky.

Any thoughts just softly drifting past like white clouds across the sky above you.

And you can see yourself under this vast and beautiful sky now.

Somewhere that you naturally feel relaxed and completely at ease.

A place with no tension or pretension.

A place where you can feel free.

This is a place of abundant beauty.

And you can experience this place now using all of your senses.

Notice everything you can see all around you.

Pay attention to the colours and textures.

Maybe you can hear the sounds of nature helping you to relax even further.

Even more deeply.

Perhaps you can even feel the sun gently warming your skin.

As you soak in everything around you.

You can experience a sense of enormous well-being spread through every part of you.

Just allow yourself a few minutes to enjoy this feeling.

To continue relaxing more and more.

If any thoughts come into your mind,

Simply acknowledge them and then let them drift away again.

As the day of your baby's birth approaches,

You feel more and more calm.

More and more relaxed.

And because you are so calm and relaxed,

Your body is able to work more and more effectively.

All the systems of your body working in harmony with each other.

Your digestive system.

Your breathing.

Your blood system.

Your immune system.

Your blood pressure remains at a healthy level and your energy levels remain high.

You are attracted to the right type of food to increase your vitality and energy.

And you remain gently active.

You drink the optimal amount of water to keep you and your baby healthy.

And you are able to sleep well and rest your body whenever necessary.

This is a time for you to relax.

And you now have all the tools you need to be able to do this yourself.

To focus on your breathing and then allow that wave of relaxation to wash over your entire body.

Relaxing you more and more each time.

So allow yourself to spend a few moments each day practicing these tools.

Allowing your body to sink into relaxation.

And feeling the benefits of a calmer mind.

Knowing that this is so beneficial for you and for your baby.

Spend time each day increasing your bond.

Looking ahead to the future.

And now it's time to prepare yourself to come up to a fully awake state.

In a moment you will hear me count to five.

And as I do so you will bring a sense of confidence and excitement with you.

Coming up now on one.

Feel the energy slowly beginning to come back into your body.

Two coming back into the room.

Three all sights and sounds return to their true perspective.

Four beginning to move and stretch.

And five eyes open and wide awake.

Just spend a moment noticing how good you feel.

Brilliant meditation. I guide these myself and so it can be difficult to really relax into other peoples sessions but this was so so helpful to me on my early pregnancy journey. I will continue to use this regularly. Thank you!
