A warm welcome to you.

My name is Fleur Chambers and as always it's my pleasure to be here with you.

Today's practice offers you an opportunity to flood some of your wisdom centers,

Namely your mind,

Heart and gut with fresh oxygen and life force.

A perfect practice for when you're feeling sluggish,

Tired or lacking in energy.

Before you close down your eyes,

Taking a moment to cast your eye around the space you are in.

Noticing elements in your environment that afford you a feeling of safety.

Perhaps noticing the door,

The door handle,

The roof over your head,

A window.

Now noticing the features or possessions that make you feel comfortable and at home.

Perhaps your bed,

A special chair,

A bookshelf or a picture on your wall,

Engaging your senses a little more now.

Maybe the temperature in your space or the way the light shines in can feel comforting in this moment too.

This simple practice,

This safety reset is enough to calm your nervous system and help you drop into your meditation practice more easily.

So if it pleases you,

Closing down your eyes and allowing your vision to move from your external space to your inner space.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Arriving here.

Reminding yourself that just as you are safe in your external space,

You are also safe in your internal world.

And allowing your awareness to rest on your body.

Performing a check-in of sorts.

Noticing what's present in your body in this moment.

Is there some tension,

Tightness?

Is there an experience of numbness or feeling closed off?

And softening with each breath.

Softening any heaviness,

Any darkness within.

And now seeing if you can locate a sense of aliveness within you.

Perhaps in the form of tingling,

Buzzing,

Pulsating.

Guiding your awareness all the way to the tips of your fingers.

Sensing or imagining that you can feel your heart beating all the way into your fingertips.

Deep breath in,

Long smooth exhale.

Body alive in this moment.

Perhaps you'd like to make a postural readjustment as your shoulders naturally roll down your back,

As your chest opens.

And now together let's guide breath,

Life force into different parts of our body as a way of reconnecting with our own vitality and inner wisdom.

Don't worry about getting it exactly right.

Trusting in your own body,

Breath and personal experience here.

Beginning by imagining that with each inhale you are flooding your brain with fresh oxygen.

And on the exhale the oxygen is moving from your brain all the way down your body and leaving from the soles of your feet.

Breathing in fresh oxygen flooding your brain.

Breathing out air traveling down your spine,

Legs and out the soles of your feet.

Continue to breathe this way for the next minute or so.

Really imagining that this fresh oxygen is clearing out your brain,

Sweeping it of all the small limiting and repetitive thoughts that no longer serve you.

With each inbreath you are connecting with your higher mind,

This place where more compassion,

Creativity and wisdom resides.

As you continue to breathe life force into your brain,

Noticing any sensation,

Any experience of clarity or calm.

And asking your higher mind what message do you have for me?

Offering your higher mind a smile.

Moving your awareness now to your heart or your chest area if that feels more natural for you.

And on each inhale imagining that you are flooding your heart with fresh oxygen.

And on each exhale the air is moving down your body and through the soles of your feet.

Continue to breathe in this way for several breaths.

Really connecting with this idea of filling your heart with vital energy and life force.

Allowing each exhale to move down your body and leave through the soles of your feet.

Noticing any sensations.

Noticing any emotions.

As your heart expands in this moment opening to receive its wisdom.

Asking your heart what would you have me know?

And now moving your breath to your gut or belly.

As you breathe in really imagining that this fresh oxygen is arriving at your gut or your belly whichever feels right for you.

And as you breathe out imagining that the air is traveling down your spine legs and out the soles of your feet.

With each in breath you are flushing out any emotional residue any feelings or experiences that are ready to be cleared.

Perhaps you can locate an emotion like worry regret or fear.

Maybe there's a heaviness that you can soften in this moment.

Getting playful and creative here as you explore your own unique way to cleanse your gut or your tummy with fresh oxygen and vitality.

Allowing your breath to return to its natural rhythm now.

And noticing if your body feels different to when you first settled in for your practice.

Rubbing your hands together really connecting with sensation and sound.

Feeling into the energy you have created within your hands.

Placing them on your head as a way of connecting to your brain.

Allowing the vitality contained within your hands to sink deep into your brain.

Thanking your mind for allowing you to understand the world and your place in it.

Perhaps even making your own commitment to connect with your higher mind more often.

Rubbing your hands together once more and this time placing them on your heart.

Really sinking deep into this moment of connection.

Allowing your warm hands to offer compassion to your heart.

Allow your heart to offer compassion to your hands also.

Resting in this energy of both giving and receiving.

Two sides of the same coin.

And rubbing together your hands once more and placing them on your gut or your belly.

Softening this part of you.

Reminding yourself of your infinite capacity to soothe yourself.

Allowing your hands to rest in an easeful position.

Enjoying one deep breath.

And in your own time returning your awareness to the space you are in.

May you move through today feeling more vital and alive.
