Hi,

My name is Shania Gordon.

I am a Restorative Wellness Guide.

And today I'm here to guide you through a meditation on self-growth.

In this practice,

You will be guided to reflect on your personal journey and cultivate gratitude for the growth and the transformation you have experienced.

By embracing gratitude,

You can gain valuable insights,

You can find peace within yourself,

And foster a deep appreciation for the journey of personal growth.

I invite you to find a comfortable position that can be seated,

Lying down,

Whatever comes for you,

Whatever is natural for you.

If at any point during this meditation you feel uncomfortable,

You feel like there are things arising that you may not know how to handle or deal with,

I invite you to stop.

You can listen along without practicing,

You can turn it off completely.

I advocate you do whatever it is you need to do at any point for your own safety.

I invite you to find that comfortable posture position,

Allowing your body to relax.

I welcome you to close your eyes,

Or if that's not comfortable,

You can have a soft gaze.

Again,

Whatever is best for you.

When you are ready,

I invite you to turn your attention inward.

Take a moment to acknowledge your presence in this present moment.

Releasing any thoughts or distractions that may be lingering in your mind,

Be here now.

Begin to notice the natural rhythm of your breath,

The gentle rise and fall of your chest,

The soothing sensation of air flowing in and out of your body.

With each inhale,

Invite a sense of calm and relaxation into your being.

And with each exhale,

Release any tension or stress you may be holding.

Maybe you choose to inhale through the nose,

Exhaling through your mouth.

With each inhale,

Invite a sense of tranquility.

Feel the calmness expanding within,

Like ripples on a still pond,

Spreading peace throughout your body,

Your mind,

And spirit.

Allow this deep relaxation to flow through every fiber of your being,

Melting away any remaining traces of tension or restlessness.

I now invite you to direct your attention to your heart center.

Visualize a warm,

Radiant light glowing within your chest,

Representing the essence of your being in your journey of self-growth.

Feel this light expanding with each breath,

Illuminating your entire being with this gentle brilliance.

Maybe in this moment,

You can bring to mind a quality or trait that you have developed or enhanced through your personal growth.

It could be patience,

Resilience,

Compassion,

Or any other aspect that you feel grateful for.

Maybe you can reflect on how this quality has positively impacted your life,

Allowing you to navigate challenges with grace and wisdom.

As you acknowledge this quality,

Allow gratitude to fill your heart.

Feel a sense of appreciation for the effort and dedication you have invested in your self-growth journey.

Maybe you can recognize that each step you have taken,

No matter how small,

Has contributed to your personal evolution.

I invite you to take a moment now to express gratitude for yourself,

For the courage and resilience you have shown in your pursuit of growth.

Embrace the understanding that self-growth is a continuous process,

And each experience,

Whether joyful or challenging,

Has been an opportunity for learning and transformation.

As you deepen your gratitude,

Extend it beyond your personal journey.

Maybe consider the people,

Experiences,

And circumstances that may have supported your growth.

Acknowledge the lessons and insights gained from both positive and difficult situations.

For they have all contributed to shaping the person you are today.

I invite you to feel a deep sense of peace and contentment,

Knowing that you are on a path of continuous self-growth.

Embrace the beauty of your journey,

With all its ups and downs,

As you recognize the growth that has unfolded because of every experience.

In this moment of stillness and gratitude,

Maybe you can set an intention to continue nurturing your self-growth with love and compassion,

Saying to yourself,

I am grateful for the growth I have experienced.

I embrace the journey of self-discovery and self-improvement.

I am open to further growth and transformation.

I welcome you to slowly start bringing awareness back to your breath.

Maybe you can take a few deep cleansing breaths,
