There are no rules to this. Life, Meditation, any of it. For this 6-minute meditation, your only job is to breathe, let go, and feel. In this moment, you are safe. We will do some focused meditation on our breath coming and leaving our body. I will be there to guide you in allowing and letting go. It is okay to be still; it is okay to breathe.

Breathing in for four counts.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Holding at the top and then exhaling for four counts.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

As you inhale,

Allow that inhale to be through your nose.

And as you exhale again through your nose.

For the next few moments in your life,

You get to rest.

You get to let go and allow yourself to just be and to feel.

You get to come home to your body,

To your soul,

Your dreams.

There are no rules to meditation.

It's just this practice of connecting to your breath in a conscious way.

Bringing stillness to your body and allowing yourself to reconnect.

Reconnect to the essence of who you are and what you want.

In this time,

In this space,

In this moment,

You are safe.

You are supported and cared for.

You are provided for.

Breathe and notice what it feels like to simply breathe.

As you breathe in through your nose,

Notice the sensation at the tip of your nostrils.

As the air comes in.

What does it feel like?

Can you feel that sensation?

Focus on that feeling for a few rounds of breath.

The sensation at the tip of your nostrils when you breathe in.

Now focus on your exhalation.

Allow the breath to leave your body through the nose.

So we are breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.

How does it feel to breathe out?

Where do you notice it in your body?

Your nose,

Your chest,

Your lungs.

Keep your eyes closed and really feel into the feeling of your breath coming in through your nose.

Filling your lungs and then leaving your body.

Just sit with this thought in and out.

The coming and the going.

The having and the letting go.

We breathe a million times a day without knowing or being conscious of it.

Our bodies do this for us without our awareness,

Without our conscious control.

Let's remember to allow meditation to be easy.

All we're doing is simply bringing some awareness to our breath.

To this moment,

This one right here,

Right now.

Meditation allows us to be in contact with the present moment.

Let it be easy.

Let it be safe.

Let it be natural.

It is okay for you to be still right now.

This is how we learn how to connect with ourselves.

How we cultivate that feeling of being there for ourselves.

To tune in and notice how our body is feeling.

To connect with our emotions and be curious about them.

To listen to what our heart wants.

To hear.

This is how we learn to trust ourselves.

To be there for ourselves.

To be there for ourselves.

It's so important we learn this skill and meditation is a beautiful tool.

To teach us how to be there for ourselves.

Taking a few more deep breaths.

And when you're ready,

Bringing your awareness back into the room.

Back into the space that you're in.

Back into your body.

And bringing into your day.

This feeling of connectedness.

And being there for ourselves.

If you haven't already,

You can open your eyes.

Take one more deep breath.

And continue with your day.

You are doing it right.
