Welcome to the Key Wisdom Whispers,
A series of short sessions exploring deep spiritual and transformational concepts,
Supporting you to implement these into your daily life.
My name is Tessa van Kagen.
I am the founder of the Key Wisdom Center and the Embrace Movement.
I guide purpose seekers,
Change makers,
Conscious leaders,
Those wonderful human beings who serve others on their journey,
To support them to look after their own needs and their own healing while serving others.
So often we hear these talks about oneness or non-duality.
I think very often when we read about this or when we hear a talk by a mystic or a spiritual leader,
Sometimes we can forget that this is an actual practical state of being,
State of mind,
Way of living in our daily life.
This is not some spiritual aspiration that can be attained once we achieve enlightenment.
The non-duality or oneness is not about denying your own self.
It is that realization that there is no self versus the whole universe,
But that you are part of that universe.
It's like the ocean existing of a trillion drops.
You cannot count the drops within the ocean.
They're part of the ocean.
Yet when there's a wave or when water splashes in the air,
You can see the separate drops as well.
And for us,
Maybe that's even harder to consider because you think,
Yeah,
But like all the humans on the earth,
We're not like drops.
It's not as if when we come together,
Like you really see them all merge.
And that is true.
And that's why within that oneness,
That concept of oneness,
It's important to understand that as a human,
As we are in this moment,
We do have this physical body that the physicality has a separation.
And yet we also know,
Like,
Have you ever experienced that when you're in a room,
You can sense the energy of other people,
Right?
And that have you ever done an exercise where you walk towards someone and at some point you can feel physically even before they touch you.
And that can be quite a long distance or it can be a bit closer,
But at some point you physically feel them,
Not just the actual physical heat from them being that close to you,
But energetically you can feel it.
And if you ever felt that you embraced someone and in that embrace,
You could really merge together,
Not just physically from the embrace,
But your energies.
And you could actually just hear their heartbeat,
But you could feel their whole energy.
You could feel being one right.
Or that the other end of the world,
Or maybe a bit closer to home,
But not physically present with you,
That there suddenly is that connection.
You can feel them.
If you ever had the phone call from someone you were just thinking about,
That was just in your awareness.
So even that way,
We can already experienced that that concept of oneness is not about thinking that if you get to that state,
That then your body no longer exists.
It's about realizing that while you are you as that drop in the ocean,
You're at the same time are part of the whole.
So it's not about outwards to feel that connection and that oneness,
The less you feel part of the whole,
But the more you are connected within truly with your whole core,
Without closing yourself off,
When you can really go within and expand,
You can feel that.
You can feel that you can stay your unique self and at the same time be part of the whole.
And that to me is the real essence of oneness.
