Welcome to your meditation.

Please start by finding a quiet place where you can spend a little time undisturbed.

Turn off your phone,

Close the door,

And if you have a candle,

You can light it now.

Or put some relaxing essential oil on your hands and take a nice,

Long,

Slow,

Deep breath.

Sit or lie down now in a comfortable position with your eyes gently closed.

Let's begin by taking three deep,

Releasing breaths,

Breathing in through your nose and out through your nose.

Let's do that two more times.

And with every exhalation,

Feel yourself sinking deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Visualize a beautiful,

Amethyst light coming in through the top of your head,

Moving down your face,

Into your shoulders,

Relaxing your muscles as it's moving down your arms to your hands.

Feel that beautiful light,

That relaxing and healing light,

Moving to the back of your body,

Relaxing your upper back,

Releasing your middle back,

Moving down to your lower back and your buttocks.

Now feel that light flowing into your entire torso,

Moving into your pelvis and over your hips,

Down your thighs and your knees and your calves,

All the way down to your feet and your toes.

Your entire body now is bathed in this relaxing,

Healing,

Amethyst light,

And you feel deeply serene and peaceful.

A very wise person once said that not forgiving someone is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.

This applies to not forgiving yourself as well.

Holding on to self-blame or resentment towards you has negative consequences.

Forgiving yourself and releasing resentment,

Old resentments,

All of those things occur in your mind.

So the question really is,

How do you want to feel?

What do you want to allow to take up precious space in your brain,

In your body and in your life?

It's always your choice.

Forgiving yourself means creating an atmosphere of learning.

It requires us to be able to revisit those experiences and to become the observer without judgment.

It means moving away from blame and moving towards deeper self-understanding,

Moving away from self-condemnation and moving towards more self-acceptance.

We are all simply human beings doing the best that we can.

We are flawed,

We are valuable,

And our job in life is to learn to evolve,

To grow.

But to do this,

We must find our self-compassion.

Self-forgiveness will free you from the prison that self-resentment creates.

Not forgiving yourself constricts the flow of your life force energy,

Your joy and your abundance.

So now I'll ask you to open your mind and your heart to intentionally release yourself from your own blame,

From your own resentment.

As you continue breathing deeply,

Feel the negative constriction and these feelings effortlessly leaving your body with your breath.

With every exhalation,

You feel more and more expanded and less and less connected to the negative stories of the past.

As you release these negative feelings of anger,

Resentment,

Blame,

You're making more room for joy,

For abundance,

For learning.

Think about how much space gets liberated,

How much energy you create for positive experiences.

All of these things expand your life's potential.

I let go and learn from the past to be here now.

So I'll ask you to start gently repeating our affirmation.

I let go and learn from the past to be here now.

And I'll let you know when it's time to come back.

I let go and learn from the past to be here now.

You can gently stop repeating our affirmation in your mind.

Continue to breathe deeply,

Knowing that as you move towards forgiveness,

What you're really moving towards is freedom.

The freedom to accept yourself as the human being that you are.

The freedom to embrace your life right now as it is and to create what you want going forward.

The freedom to learn.

Now I'll slowly count back from 10 to 1.

And when I get to 1,

You're going to feel lighter and happier than before when you started this meditation.

This feeling of liberation is going to stay with you.

10,

9,

Feeling released of your constrictions.

8,

7,

Feeling compassion for yourself.

6,

5,

Feeling hopeful and excited.

4,

3,

Feeling ready for what's next.

2,

1.

Slowly bring your awareness back to your body,

Back to the room that you're in or the bed that you're on or the chair that you're on.

Stretch your hands and rock your feet and give yourself a nice,

Big,

Full body stretch.

Gandhi said the weak can never forgive.

Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.

So congratulations for being one of the strong today.

And as always,

Take care of you.
