Hello and welcome to your pelvic bowl expansion meditation.

The objective of this meditation is to draw our breath,

Our presence,

Our imagination and our prana,

Our flow of prana down into the pelvic bowl area.

So the pelvic bowl area consists of our pelvic girdle,

Our hip bones so to speak,

All of the organs inside,

So our reproductive organs,

Our organs of elimination.

And I'm also using it to refer to the muscles that surround this region,

That attach to this region.

So it can include the thighs,

The legs,

The inner thighs in particular,

The lower back,

The psoas muscle which connects from the bottom of the spine through the pelvic bowl and into the inner thigh.

So there's a complex and beautiful network of connected systems of the pelvic bowl and this part of the body can become blocked energetically,

Emotionally,

Physically.

There can be an energy of defense,

Contraction,

Tightness,

Restriction.

And the objective of this meditation today is to melt away that frozen energy,

The energy that's become stuck in this area.

It's restricting our capacity and our full embodiment of who we are when we breathe and live from the pelvic space,

Fully inhabiting this space and the powerful energy that exists here.

We inhabit more of ourselves.

There's more freedom,

More ease,

More flow,

More intuition,

Access to creativity and clarity.

So we'll start the meditation by finding a comfortable seated or lying down position.

Find a position where you feel you can fully release any muscle activation in the legs and where you feel you have full access to your breath.

And we'll start by closing down the eyes and bringing our awareness to our breath as it is without trying to change it.

You can follow the journey of the breath from the nostrils down through the throat and where it lands in the belly and treating any resistance that you find here,

Any restricted sensation with kindness.

There's no need to force the breath into a particular place or a particular quality or where there's restriction.

Simply bring your kindness,

Your presence,

Your compassion and notice how more space opens up gently to you.

Now become aware of your belly and how it lands in the structure of the pelvic bowl.

All of the energy of your vital organs,

All of the weight of gravity landing in the bowl of your pelvic girdle and sensing how this structure like a cauldron holds all of this intelligence,

All of this potential,

All of the energetic signatures of each organ,

Each cell,

Each role of each organ and cell,

All held here in the powerful structure of the pelvic bowl.

You can send your awareness and your acknowledgement to your uterus,

Your womb which sits in the center,

Your ovaries branching out to either side,

The cervix extending down into the vagina,

The walls of the yoni,

Pelvic floor muscles and the opening of the yoni bringing your awareness back out into the world.

And having acknowledged all of these energies existing in the pelvic bowl,

See if you can embody this space with your presence a bit more.

See if your breath can fill the pelvic bowl just a little bit more.

Now we're going to intentionally draw the breath down into the pelvic bowl with our imagination,

Imagining that we're filling up the pelvic bowl with light,

Filling it up with light to the point that it overflows and the light begins to radiate from your pelvis.

And exhaling again we're going to inhale down into the pelvic bowl,

Imagining filling up this bowl with light to the point that it's overflowing,

Radiating past the physical perimeters and exhaling.

We're going to do this again breathing in,

Drawing the light into the pelvic bowl,

Filling it completely and allowing it to radiate and spill and flow.

And as we exhale pay particular attention to releasing the energy downwards,

Allowing any tension or holding or debris that you've been holding in this space to fully flush out of your system on the exhale.

Breathing in,

Drawing in the light,

Letting it fill you and expand past the perimeters of your physical body and exhaling,

Flushing the system of any tension or debris that's no longer required.

Continue to breathe with the light visualization as your anchor,

Knowing that when you're inhaling you're filling up the bowl with light.

And this light is also dissolving any blockages to the pranic flow,

Anything that's blocking the flow of life force and nourishment and freedom to this part of the body is being dissolved as you allow this light to enter.

You can feel more sensations in your belly,

In your pelvic bowl,

In the back of your body,

The base of your body which is touching the floor,

The yoni feeling the sensations present here at the front of the pelvic bowl and breathing the light into these corners.

When we bring our awareness to these places we turn on a light and we gain access to more space.

Allow this light that you're breathing in to reach every crevice,

Every corner,

Every crack,

Every niche,

Every unturned stone in the landscape of your pelvic bowl.

And as you breathe out you can imagine the energy flowing down your legs.

The prana has new channels to travel by,

Flowing like rivers,

Streams all joining up.

All blocked energy is flowing freely.

Imagine the light expanding from the pelvic bowl,

Radiating out,

Dissolving the blockages and all of that light releasing downwards through the legs,

The yoni,

All the way down into the feet and releasing down into the earth.

An abundance of prana,

Of life force,

Nourishing the lower part of your body.

A waterfall so strong that no obstacles of tension,

Worry,

Doubt,

Fear,

Past stories,

Nothing can hold this river from flushing you clean.

We're going to fill our pelvic bowl one more time.

So breathing in,

Feeling the pelvic bowl with the light,

Allowing it to expand,

Radiating until it radiates out through your whole body.

Your pelvic bowl is overflowing like a fountain and sending the light everywhere that it needs to go into the body.

It's cascading and overflowing out the top of your head now as well until you're completely shrouded in a waterfall of light.

Soak in this waterfall and let it permeate every part of your being.

Now as we breathe in and out the waterfall is going to slide down our head and then our shoulders,

Leaving our body in a cascade down the arms,

Across the front of the body,

Back of the body,

Letting this cooling light cleanse you for the final time,

The belly,

The back,

The sides.

Then linger here with the light at the pelvic bowl where all this energy can be stored,

Doing its final work here and letting it pass down the legs,

Knees,

The calves,

Feet until the last piece of light evaporates like a little raindrop and is absorbed into your skin,

Into your bones.

Breathing in and exhaling,

Releasing any tension downwards and releasing on the exhale,

Handing over any energy that is stuck.

One more time,

Breathing in and exhaling,

Letting it all go.

Bring your awareness to your belly,

Your pelvic bowl and your thighs.

Feel the sensations here and feel that the energy flow has increased at this part of your body.

Notice how you might feel different now.

You can place your hands on your belly,

Bringing that safety to the nervous system.

You can bring one hand to your heart,

Feeling your breath under your hands and your belly and your chest and you can bring your palms together at your heart.

Bow your head towards your heart.

Thank yourself for this meditation and you can slowly blink the eyes.

I loved this meditation so much I did it twice through. The vivid visualizations woven with clear pelvic anatomy kept me floating yet anchored.
