Hello,
My name is Taylor.
Welcome to this guided breath session.
This is one that I like to do in the morning time and helps settle the mind for the day,
Also wake you up and give you a nice clear,
Clear focus for your day ahead.
You can do this seated or lying on your back,
Whichever you prefer.
I just want you to follow my voice and listen to the cadences I provide,
The timing of the inhales,
The holds,
The exhales,
The holds.
If you ever get lost or can't really keep up,
You can always resume normal nasal breathing and jump back in when you can.
I want you to close your eyes and begin by inhaling through the nose,
Exhaling through the nose.
Deep,
Slow breaths using the ocean breath,
Kind of closing off the back of your throat.
Inhaling,
Exhaling.
Inhale for five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Exhale for five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Inhale for five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Exhale for five,
Four,
Three,
Two,

Inhale two,

Exhale two,

Inhale two,

Exhale two,

Inhale,

And exhale,

Inhale,

Hold.
Exhale,
Two,

Hold.
Inhale,
Hold.
Hold.
Hold this for a little bit longer now.
Just stay with me.
We're almost there.
Keep holding.
And exhale,
Two,
One,
Hold.
Hold.
Inhale,
Two,
One,
Hold.
Keep holding here.
Stay with me.
We're almost there.
Exhale,
Two,
One,
Hold.
Inhale,
Hold.
And exhale,
Hold.
Inhale,
Hold.
Hold.
And exhale,
Hold.
Hold.
Now just take a few inhales and exhales on your own in through the nose,
Out through the nose.
And what we're going to do here is what's called breath of fire.
So I want you to really focus on using your diaphragm as a pump and forcefully exhaling out of your nose.
So see if you can make each inhale and exhale equal.
Start it on your own.
Exhaling,
Inhaling.
Keep doing this on your own.
Again,
You might struggle a little bit with it at first.
It's all okay.
Just slow down your pace.
Visualize your diaphragm as a pump.
Forcefully exhaling the carbon dioxide and having the oxygen just come back in.
Just cycling it through your body.
Keep going.
Exhaling,
Inhaling.
Exhaling,
Inhaling.
Exhaling,
Inhaling.
Exhaling,
Inhaling.
Really firing up the system here.
Keep this going.
You might feel a little light,
A little tingly.
If you can't keep control of the pace,
Just slow it down.
Keep going with this.
We're almost there.
Just a couple more breaths.
Once you take a big inhale and hold it.
Keep holding it.
We're almost there.
Keep holding.
And exhale.
And just slowly inhale through your nose.
Slowly exhaling through your nose.
Slowly inhaling.
Slowly exhaling.
Slowly exhaling.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Just focusing on your breath.
Nothing else.
You can keep doing this if you'd like.
Just focusing on the inhales,
Focusing on the exhales for as long as you'd like.
If you're ready,
You can go ahead and start your day.
Thank you.
