Welcome to your guided meditation on wisdom.

I'm Tara and I'm so happy to be connecting with you here right now.

Thank you for joining me today.

This practice not only benefits yourself but it benefits everyone around you as well.

Taking the time to be mindful is essential to being a positive person and making a positive impact in the world.

Let's begin.

Find a comfortable seat sitting upright with hands placed on your thighs,

Palms facing towards the sky.

Bring the tip of your index finger and the tip of your thumb to touch,

Extending the middle ring and pinky finger out together.

Now turn your palms to face downwards.

This is jnana mudra or the hand gesture for wisdom.

Begin to soften your eyelids,

Keeping a gentle gaze towards the ground in front of you or shutting your eyes completely.

Feel your back extend long and strong with the crown of your head reaching towards the sky.

Feel the muscles of your face relaxing,

Your forehead,

Your temples,

Your cheeks,

Your chin,

Your mouth,

And your tongue are all relaxed.

Feel your shoulders relaxing away from your ears and drawing gently down your back.

Feel your chest,

Ribs,

And belly soften.

Feel your hips,

Legs,

And feet gently weighing towards the earth,

Connecting to the ground beneath you.

Draw your awareness to the support of the ground,

The stability,

And the sensation of rooting downwards.

As you root downwards towards the ground,

Feel your spine rise upwards towards the sky,

Drawing your awareness to the air around you,

The temperature,

The texture,

And the expansiveness of space.

Now connect to your breath.

Notice your inhales and exhales,

The gentle rhythm of breathing.

On the count of three,

Let's take a deep inhale together,

Filling our bodies with breath as if we were connecting the air around us all the way to the ground beneath us.

One,

Two,

Three.

Take a deep inhale through your nose,

Open your mouth,

And exhale.

Come back to your natural rhythm of breathing.

Now imagine there's a beautiful diamond radiating with light in front of the space between your eyebrows,

Your third eye.

This diamond is the seed of universal wisdom.

It is all-knowing.

It is bright and beautiful but not blinding.

It allows you to see clearly in the dark.

See this light in front of you extending in all directions.

Feel it come inwards through your third eye and gently drop down past your nose,

Past your lips,

Down your throat,

And settling at your heart center.

Feel the muscles around your chest soften,

Letting go of any tension.

The diamond begins to fill with love and compassion here at the heart center.

As the diamond fills with love,

The light begins to expand in all directions,

Embodying your entire being and radiating out to all that is around you.

Sit here gently with this expansive light.

Continue connecting to your breath,

Your inhales and exhales.

Continuing to feel this light radiating and shining.

As you breathe in,

Feel your breath gently tap into the light.

Maybe it shines a little bit brighter.

As you exhale,

Feel yourself releasing any tension,

Softening and relaxing.

Begin to make gentle movements with your fingers and toes.

Roll your shoulders up and back.

Bring your hands to heart center,

Palms pressing into one another,

And bow your head in as a gesture of gratitude for your practice.

On the count of three,

We'll take a final inhale together to seal this practice.

One,

Two,

Three.

Take a deep inhale through the nose.

Open your mouth and exhale completely.

Begin to flutter your eyelids open,

Letting the sense of sight in.

May you have a beautiful rest of your day and may all beings find happiness,

Light and joy.

Pass this meditation along to anyone that could benefit from it and remember to drop a comment below if you enjoyed today's meditation.

I'm Tara and I hope that we can connect again soon.

Sending lots of love.
