This is a very gentle guided meditation for connecting to our hearts. Sometimes we just need to take a few minutes to breathe and feel into the center of our being. Intro music by Kristen Williams, meditation music by HookSounds.

A Journey into the Heart,

A guided meditation by Tara Herrick Brown Begin by breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.

Simply becoming aware of your breath,

The coolness of the air as it enters your nostrils,

The warm air dancing over your top lip as you exhale.

Feeling your sitz bones meet the cushion beneath you,

Your spine tall and erect,

Top of the head reaching towards the sky.

I invite you to move into the center of your body now.

Just want you to begin noticing this interior space.

Just examine the quality.

I invite you to reside in the center of your chest,

Right in the heart of the Shashona.

We have energy centers of the body known as the chakras and the heart chakra is located at the center of the chest and it originates in the Shashona.

So if you can imagine a trumpet shaped vortex with the insertion right at the center of the chest and the trumpet shape expands out the front and the back of the body.

I invite you to tune into a slowly spinning clockwise motion at the center of your chest.

The heart chakra is that perfect balance between heaven and earth,

Matter and spirit.

And the third chakra corresponds with our current era dealing with these issues of power and powerlessness in our three dimensional world.

But many of us know that we are so much more than this human form which contains us and many of us are seeking to journey into the heart to begin to live more fully from love.

To live each day and each moment from the heart.

The heart can be a complicated place shrouded with veils of tears,

Hurts and pain from the past.

These pains can keep us locked,

Cut off,

Removed from the connections we so deeply desire.

The key to opening the heart is the mantra,

I forgive all betrayals.

When we think of betrayals we often think of others that have betrayed us.

And although it's deeply important that we forgive others,

It's also important to find that forgiveness for ourselves in those times that we haven't lived from our highest purpose and our highest truth.

We offer self love and forgiveness.

I invite you to breathe into this space in the center of your chest now.

Perhaps placing one or both hands in the center of your chest.

Just really feeling the beauty and the perfection of this space.

Live by simply touching and tapping into the softness of your heart.

It evokes feelings of sadness.

I invite you to feel deeply into that,

Washing away the pains of the past,

Allowing yourself to be more present with now.

And I invite you to find compassion and patience for yourself on this journey.

To tune into the softness of the heart,

Exploring the depth and the beauty of this place.

Delving deeply into the heart to begin living from the place of the heart.

Offering love and compassion.

I invite you to return often to this place of the heart.

Connecting and healing this precious place.

The world deserves to feel the loving kindness that is your truth.

Many blessings to you.

Namaste.
