Before we start tapping,
Take a moment to get still.
Close your eyes.
Feel your body on the surface supporting you.
And notice the play of air on your exposed skin.
Now place one hand on your chest and the other on your belly.
Feel the rise and fall of your body below your hands as you breathe.
Now turn your attention to any sounds in the room.
Before tuning into more distant sounds.
Now observe the silence between the sounds.
Bring your attention back to the body.
Start to slowly scan your body from the top of your head down to the soles of your feet as you think about your current health.
What do you notice?
Is there any discomfort,
Tension,
Tightness or pain in your body as you think about your physical health?
If so,
Score the level of discomfort out of 10,
With 10 being the most discomfort you have ever felt and zero representing a complete absence of any discomfort.
We will return to this score at the end of the session to monitor our progress.
Now that we are fully in the present moment,
We are ready to begin tapping.
Tapping on the side of the hand with four fingers,
Repeat after me,
Tweaking any words as needed.
Even though my health is less than optimal,
I am open to healing.
Even though I feel frustrated,
Because I'm physically not where I would like to be,
I choose to support my body in whatever way I can.
Even though my physical health is less than ideal,
I'm open to relaxing anyway,
And trusting that my system knows what is needed to return to full health.
Going to the top of the head,
I'm concerned about my health.
Eyebrow,
It feels like my body is struggling to heal.
Outer eye,
I really want to heal.
Under the eye,
But it feels hopeless at times.
Under the nose,
I worry about my health.
Under the mouth,
Will I ever be healthy and whole again?
Collarbone,
Maybe I can heal if I lower stress in my body.
Under the arm,
Releasing stress with each tap and each exhale.
Top of the head,
And accepting my body just as it is.
Eyebrow,
As much as I possibly can.
Outer eye,
Acknowledging where my body is at.
Under the eye,
Noticing how my body feels.
Under the nose,
But at the same time.
Under the mouth,
Trusting that I will find the tools,
Information and people.
Collarbone,
That will lead to improved health.
Under the arm,
Open and committed to leveling up my physical well-being.
Release the tapping and take in a comfortable breath through the nose,
Before releasing it slowly and gently back via the nostrils.
Repeat two more times before letting your breathing settle back into its natural rhythm.
Now that we have acknowledged where our health is at,
And how we feel about it,
We can turn to creating a more empowering story,
Rewiring our thoughts and releasing anything that is preventing us from experiencing optimal health and well-being.
Instead of creating a setup statement like we did in the previous round,
We will just move from point to point while stating positive affirmations.

Collarbone,
My body and mind are relaxed.
Under the arm,
My health is improving each and every day.
Release the tapping,
Place one hand on your brow and the other hand over your heart.
Feel the warmth or coolness of your hands on your body.
Notice the hand on your chest rising and falling with each inhale and exhale.
For those of you doing this practice earlier in the day or well before bedtime,
Form a fist and begin to gently thump over the sternum right in the middle of your chest.
As you thump,
Focus on your breathing,
Drawing your breath in through your nose and directing it to the middle of your chest where your thymus gland is situated,
Before sending the breath out via your mouth.
The thymus gland is a small organ behind the sternum that plays an important function in the immune lymphatic and endocrine systems.
We'll stay here for about 30 seconds to get the health benefits of thymus thumping.
Which includes increased energy.
Keep your focus on your breath,
Filling it into your nostrils,
Travel down to your chest before exiting through your mouth.
Now place your hands in a comfortable position and let your breath return to its natural rhythm.
Begin to scan the body from head to toe and notice any changes relative to how you felt at the start of this session.
Has your score out of 10 shifted?
Do you feel lighter and more relaxed?
Or more energized for those of you that did the thymus thumping?
I hope you enjoyed this practice and that you were able to detect a noticeable shift.
I encourage you to return to this practice daily for accumulative and ongoing healing support.
Until we tap again,
May you be well,
May you be safe and may you be full of vitality.
