This short mindfulness exercise is designed to be used whenever you are in need of respite from an overactive mind. By placing all your awareness on the senses, it helps to still the mind and body, creating a feeling of calm. When used often, it can also increase your ability to become truly still at all levels of your being, leading to greater awareness, a heightened sense of experience, and a peaceful state of mind. This track is also helpful to use prior to EFT (tapping) because it aids in grounding the body via the senses. This mindfulness meditation can be used in a seated or reclined position and there is an ending bell to signal the end of the session. There is also an alternative option with no ending bell under my profile for meditators wanting to practice this stillness exercise as a way to wind down prior to falling asleep.
