Before we start tapping,
Take a moment to get still.
Feel your body on the surface supporting you.
Now turn your attention to the rise and fall of your chest and belly as you breathe.
And notice any sounds in the room.
Before tuning into more distant sounds.
Now that we are fully in the present moment,
We are ready to begin tapping.
As usual,
We'll start tapping on the side of the hand,
But instead of creating a setup statement,
We will just go straight into stating affirmations and we will move from point to point.
Let's begin.
Side of the hand.
I am grateful for the rest that I had last night.
Top of the head.
I am starting my day with a heart full of gratitude.
Eyebrow.
I am grateful for everything that my body does for me.
Outer eye.
Without me needing to think about it.
Under eye.
I listen to my body.
Under the nose.
And support my body's needs.
Under the mouth.
I am able to think clearly.
Collarbone.
I am able to express myself clearly.
Under the arm.
My opinions matter.
Side of the hand.
I can cope with anything that comes my way today.
Top of the head.
Because I am increasing my nervous system capacity.
Eyebrow.
I live in the present moment.
Outer eye.
I face my fears with courage.
Under eye.
There is no such thing as failure.
Under the nose.
Mistakes are learning opportunities.
Under the mouth.
I am kind to myself.
Collarbone.
Even when things don't go as planned.
Under the arm.
Today is an opportunity to learn and grow.
Side of the hand.
I achieve my goals easily.
Top of the head.
I attract everything that I need.
Eyebrow.
I live by my values.
Side of eye.
I am capable.
Under the eye.
I easily adapt to any situation.
Under the nose.
I tune into and trust my inner wisdom and intuition.
Under the mouth.
I accept myself just as I am.
I accept myself just as I am.
Collarbone.
My perspective is unique and important.
Under the arm.
My emotions and feelings are valid.
Side of the hand.
The world is full of endless opportunities.
Top of the head.
I am often filled with a sense of awe.
Eyebrow.
I am resilient.
Outer eye.
I set boundaries with confidence.
Under eye.
I make decisions with confidence.
Under the nose.
Each day I am gaining more clarity.
Under the mouth.
I am not afraid to express my needs.
Collarbone.
I am stronger than my fears.
Under the arm.
I am grateful for all that I have.
Side of the hand.
I easily release anything that I no longer need.
Top of the head.
I am worthy of love.
Eyebrow.
I am worthy of respect.
Outer eye.
I speak my truth without fear.
Under eye.
I have valuable insights to offer.
Under the nose.
I attract people who are loving,
Kind and supportive.
Under the mouth.
I am creative.
Collarbone.
I choose to maintain a sense of inner peace as I go about my day.
Under the arm.
Feeling in control.
And ready for the day ahead.
Now return to the collarbone points and tap firmly with both hands as we begin the four thumps technique created by Donna Eden so that you can start your day full of energy.
We'll stay here for 20 seconds.
Breathing deeply through your nose and out through your mouth as you tap.
Keep filling your lungs with oxygen and removing any stale air.
Now go to the under eye points and tap with both hands.
Again,
We will stay here for about 20 seconds.
Continue to breathe.
Now form a fist and thump over the sternum right in the middle of your chest.
Keep breathing deeply.
In through the nose.
And out through the mouth.
Now move down the body and thump with your fists over the spleen points directly below the breasts or pectoral muscles between the ribs 7 and 8.
Continue to fill your lungs through the nose.
And breathe out through the mouth.
Release the tapping,
Give your hands and arms a shake and then tune into your body and notice how you feel.
Hopefully you are feeling energetic,
Positive and ready to get on with your day.
But before you do,
I'd like to suggest that you take note of any level of resistance you had to any of the affirmations.
Any resistance experienced provides valuable clues of what could potentially be holding you back from thriving and presents opportunities for future tapping sessions,
Either on your own or with an EFT practitioner.
And it is worth jotting them down or recording a quick voice memo so you don't forget.
And if you found this session helpful,
Join me tonight for more tapping and positive affirmations as you prepare for sleep.
Just look for the evening's version of this tapping meditation under my teacher profile.
Until then,
Have a wonderful day.
