Welcome to today's meditation.
Today's meditation is about letting go.
If you're ready to let go of today's stress and relax your nervous system,
Let's begin.
Take a deep breath in,
Filling up your whole body with air,
And exhale.
Take a deep breath in.
Hold it for a moment.
And exhale.
Really allow yourself to be where you are,
Letting go.
It doesn't have to be a negative,
Stressful thing on your list.
It can be a moment of pleasure in your day.
So let's take a few minutes to find a pleasurable seat wherever you're located on a chair,
Couch,
Lying on the floor or a bed.
Take another deep breath in,
Fill up all the way into your heart.
Hold it.
And exhale.
Let's honor the part of you that brought you here today,
Giving yourself permission.
To take a break from your busy day and your busy life and to be present You're giving yourself a present by being present.
Let's honor the presence that you feel around you.
Maybe of your higher self.
Maybe of your gods,
Maybe of a higher power,
Maybe of the universe.
Let's close our eyes.
And honor whatever presence you feel.
In the room,
In the field around you.
With a deep breath in,
Welcome and exhale.
Deep breath in to the count of four now.
Hold it for four.
And exhale for four.
And let's try that again.
Deep breath in.
Hold it for four.
And exhale for four.
You can continue to breathe to the count of four.
Hold to the count of four and exhale.
To the count of four if that feels right to you.
Breathing in,
Expanding like a balloon.
And letting go and exhaling,
Releasing all the air of the balloon.
And really letting go into your seat.
Or wherever you're lying or sitting down.
Notice your feet on the floor.
Or wherever they're hanging.
Let them relax.
Let your feet be pulled down by gravity towards the floor towards the earth.
Let them ground.
We feel that pull from the center of the earth that keeps us from spinning off into space.
And just let that energy flow.
Allow you to let go.
There's no place else you need to be.
Nothing else you need to do right in this moment.
Giving yourself permission to be here now,
To be present for this moment.
You can go back to whatever you need to do.
Knowing that you gave yourself permission for this moment.
Knowing you can be more present.
For whatever you'll need to do after this gift of time.
And relaxation.
Letting go.
Of any pressure you feel in your legs.
From your calves and your shins all the way to your knees and the large muscles in your thighs.
Your quadriceps and your hamstrings.
Just let your legs hang down towards the earth.
Giving yourself permission to relax and let go.
Imagine that your legs are like bags of sand and the bottoms of your feet can open up and all the sand can empty out down through your legs down into the earth.
Imagining the base of your spine is like the roots of a tree spreading down into the earth.
Imagining the roots spreading out throughout the globe.
Splitting off,
Grounding.
Without stretching or pushing or forcing,
Just allowing and letting go.
And breathing up from the earth any energy that you need in this moment,
Knowing that the earth can sustain you.
Can support you.
Can give you any energy you need for this day,
For this moment.
For your healing.
Breathing up through your spine,
Through your lower spine,
Through your belly,
Through your whole pelvic floor.
Notice how your hips feel.
As they're attached.
To the base of your body.
To your legs.
And your hip joints,
Your hip flexors.
Your psoas muscles,
Can they relax into your seat?
All of your genitals,
Your reproductive organs.
Can you let them sit in your pelvic bowl?
Can you just let them relax without judgment?
Releasing your internal organs.
Is that possible?
Can you relax your blood flow in your belly?
Soft belly as you exhale.
All the way up to your midsection,
The middle of your back.
Your center.
Part of you that's connected to who you are in the world.
The part of you that shines out.
Breathing in all the way up to your heart space,
Expanding your ribs and every muscle in between your ribs.
Expanding,
Filling up.
Filling up behind your heart.
Your wings.
And relaxing your shoulder blades down your back.
As you exhale.
Imagine your whole chest expanding as you inhale.
And releasing,
Letting go as you exhale.
No,
There's no judgment for how you're holding yourself up.
How you are preparing or letting go.
How you have been protecting and taking care of your own heart.
Honor your heart,
Your belly.
Your abdomen,
Your hips,
Your legs,
Your feet.
Honoring your whole body for protecting you,
For keeping you safe.
For getting you through your life to this moment.
And exhaling your collarbones,
Letting them sit down,
Letting your shoulders sit down and back.
Imagining those rocks that you carry,
The burdens,
The pressure,
Letting them roll off of your shoulders,
Down over your arms,
Through the inside of your arms,
Down through your elbows.
Through your lower arms,
Through your wrists,
Through your hands,
Out your fingers and down into the earth.
Anything you carry any pain,
Illness,
Clogged areas,
Letting it go without judgment without naming.
Without the worry of how or why in this moment,
Can you let it go?
Can you let it be?
Can you feel in your throat?
Can you swallow?
Can you breathe into it?
And exhale.
Maybe with a sigh.
Release,
Release and let go.
Releasing your jaw muscles,
All the tension we store in our face.
In our need to smile,
In our need to speak up.
Relaxing your face,
Your cheeks.
No need to make any expression right now in your face.
Smooth out any expression in your cheeks all the way around to your ears and feel where your neck meets your skull.
Relax.
Let go.
Feel the heaviness of your head that you've been holding up and sit back or lie back just a half an inch.
Resting.
Feeling your tongue on the roof of your mouth right behind your two front teeth.
Resting and exhaling.
Relax all the expression around your eyes,
Soft eyes.
Notice as you look up.
And then release.
There's nothing you need to look at right in this moment.
Imagine your third eye,
That space in between your eyebrows.
It can see inside,
It can see outside,
It can see through,
It can see within.
Let it just be in this moment.
It knows the truth.
It can find the truth.
It can allow for the truth.
It doesn't have to stress or strain in this moment.
You can smooth out all.
The wrinkles and the expression in your forehead all the way around to the back of your head and to the top of your head you might feel a tingling.
Notice the tingling at the top of your head as if the sun is shining on your scalp.
A few inches above your head,
Notice the energy that's floating at the top of your head.
Of your aura,
The field around you.
Notice how far above you it extends.
And then flows down around you.
Notice how far out.
Outside of your physical body it flows outside of your energetic body it flows how far out your own aura how far out your conscious of the field around you And as you exhale,
How far out can you stretch that aura of your consciousness?
And then let go and relax all the way down around your feet.
Feeling the love in your heart,
The caring,
The appreciation for yourself,
For your higher self,
For being here,
Bringing you here in this moment.
If there are people or a person in your life that you want to send extra healing to.
Imagine you can extend that feeling appreciation love.
Energy in your heart,
Send it out to them.
Imagine you can surround them with that love,
Peace,
Maybe a color or feeling.
Deep breath in,
Exhale,
Surround the whole room that you're in right now with that same love and light.
If there are other people in the buildings around them pushing out that love and light.
Knowing that it just expands your own energy,
Doesn't take from your energy.
The more you give your energy,
The more you feel your energy building.
Now send it out to your city.
To your state.
And as you inhale energy from the earth and energy from above,
Imagine surrounding the whole planet with your healing energy.
Connecting to everyone's healing energy around the world.
Breathing up from the earth,
Feeling that energy through your roots.
Coming up from the ground,
Knowing whenever you need extra energy,
You can breathe up that energy from the planet.
It's always there for you to access.
Coming up through the base of your spine,
Through your abdomen,
Through your center,
Through your heart,
Through your throat.
Through your third eye,
All the way to your crown.
If there's any extra areas that you need healing in yourself,
Send that right now.
And then let go.
Look of the thoughts,
The wants,
The needs,
The judgment.
Wishing the regrets.
The wondering.
And imagine the bottoms of your feet closing up now.
Taking a deep breath in,
You can feel the bottoms of your feet against the floor,
Against the bed,
Or against the earth where you're standing.
And you can wiggle your toes,
Wiggle your fingers.
Make any small movements in your body that bring you back to the sound of my voice.
Your own breath,
The sounds in the room,
The sounds outside the room.
Into this moment.
Thanking you for being present with me today in this letting go meditation.
Go slowly,
Open your eyes,
Looking around.
Bowing to your own higher self in gratitude for being present today.
Make sure you take some time.
Drink a lot of water today.
And find pleasure in the small moments in your life.
