Hi,
This is Susie.
This meditation is designed to support you when you're feeling overwhelmed or stressed or stuck in your head with unhelpful thoughts.
It's a quick meditation aimed to bring you back to balance into a place of rediscovering your ability to move through life with more grace and ease.
Let's start by making ourselves comfortable.
It doesn't matter if you're sitting or lying,
Just make yourself as comfortable as you can be.
Bring your hands one on top of the other to the center of the chest so that they're holding your heart center.
Remember when we calm our hearts our brains follow suit.
To begin with,
Focus your attention on this space behind your hands,
Your powerful heart center.
Start to sense into the warmth that you feel.
This warmth reflects your heart energy.
Feel that warmth start to spread from your heart through your chest,
Through your ribs,
The back,
Shoulders,
Arms down to your fingers,
Through your torso,
Legs down to your toes.
And up through the upper chest,
The neck,
The head so that your whole being is bathed in warmth.
And imagine that this warm energy has a soft glow and see it expanding outside of your physical body,
Holding you in a soft bubble of safety and love.
Bring your attention to where that warmth and light is resonating in your head and see that warmth gently spreading through your head and gently softening and calming any troubling thoughts,
Any overwhelm,
Any stressful thoughts,
Negative thoughts,
Gently dissolving as this warm light energy soothes you.
Reassuring your whole system that all is well.
In this very second everything is okay.
Right now you are okay.
Bring your attention back to your heart space,
Taking a breath in and extending your out-breath,
Expanding that warmth on the out-breath once again through your whole system and coming back to focus on your heart.
And one final time,
Come into your heart space and allow yourself to remember that you are loved,
So loved.
Allow that truth to resonate deep in your heart and throughout your whole entire being.
Sealing that truth now with one final breath and then gently opening your eyes and going onwards with your day.
