Welcome to your guided meditation,

Gratitude at Work.

This is a meditation to help you gain clarity,

Focus,

And purpose at work.

It also helps to release stress and tension,

And it will help you clarify your intention.

We can practice gratitude even for our intentions for work.

Wherever you are,

I invite you to find a comfortable place to sit so that your body is tension-free and at ease.

You can sit cross-legged or in a chair with your feet firmly planted on the floor.

Make sure that your spine feels nice and tall and your shoulders relaxed down your back.

Gently open your heart space,

And as you feel that energetic opening,

The shoulders naturally melt down.

Take a breath,

Inhale,

And exhale,

Let it go completely,

Breathing in and breathing out,

Knowing that there's nowhere to go and nothing to do now,

But simply focus on your practice,

Being here,

Relaxed,

Fully available to this moment.

Bring your awareness all the way into your body,

Down into your feet,

And become aware of the whole backside of your body.

Gently move your attention to your heart,

And become aware of your heart in the core of your body,

Your heart resting in your physical body.

Our heart is the leader of our emotions,

Taking this time to open the compassionate observer,

Being aware of yourself with compassion,

Noticing your breath with loving kindness.

Be like you can even imagine smiling in your heart,

Sending that positive energy to yourself.

Let's take this time to gently contemplate the nature of our work,

Our livelihood,

And what that's been like for you lately,

Noticing with compassion what work has been like for you,

Breathing in and breathing out,

Becoming aware of your emotions and your feelings about work,

Noticing how you start your work day,

As well as your workflow throughout the rest of your day.

How does the workflow feel through the rest of your day?

Are you accomplishing what you set out to accomplish?

Are you doing the things that feel important to you?

Noticing without judgment what's arising,

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Feeling your peaceful center,

Grounded,

Connected with the earth.

What would you like to experience more of at work?

What do you feel grateful for in your work?

Where do you find love,

Passion,

Purpose?

How do you create that for yourself in what you do?

Let's close with intention,

Your intention for your work,

Letting yourself gently focus on your intention,

Bringing it into your heart,

Your center,

And letting yourself sit in your beautiful intention,

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Breathe in through the back of your heart,

Breathe out through the front of your heart.

In this closing practice,

Let's have gratitude for our intention,

Just letting yourself feel the gratefulness for your intention,

For showing up to your work,

Noticing what it's like to experience gratitude for your intentions,

Bringing positive energy to your work.

Thank you so much for practicing today.

Blessings,

Namaste.
