Welcome to this guided meditation on gratitude.

I want you to find a comfortable position either sitting or lying down and gently close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.

Allow yourself to relax fully,

Letting go of any tension or stress with each breath.

Now let's bring our attention to the present moment.

Begin by focusing on your breath.

Notice the sensation of the air as it enters and exits your body.

With each inhale feel yourself becoming more present and centered.

With each exhale feel any worries or distractions melting away,

Like butter,

Like candle.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Bring to mind something or someone you are grateful for.

It could be a person,

A place,

An experience or even a simple pleasure.

And take a moment to really connect with this feeling of gratitude in your heart.

You can put your hand on your heart and try to feel it as deeply as you can.

Now imagine expressing your gratitude to this person or thing or place.

Visualize yourself thanking them,

Either silently or out loud if you want,

And feel it.

Feel the warmth and appreciation radiating from your heart as you express your thanks.

As you continue to breathe in and out and focus on this feeling of gratitude,

Allow yourself to expand your awareness to other things you are grateful for.

Think about the small blessings in your life,

The moments of joy and beauty,

The support from friends and loved ones.

Notice how cultivating an attitude of gratitude shifts your perspective.

Even in challenging times,

There is always something to be grateful for.

Allow yourself to bask in this feeling of abundance and appreciation.

As we near the end of this meditation,

Take a deep breath in again and out.

And take a moment to thank yourself for taking the time to practice gratitude today.

And know that you can return to this feeling of gratitude at any time,

Simply by pausing and taking a deep breath.

And when you're ready,

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Bringing awareness back to your body.

Slowly open your eyes,

Taking in the world around you with a renewed sense of gratitude.

May you carry this feeling of gratitude with you throughout your day,

Spreading joy and positivity wherever you go.

And if you're listening to this as you fall asleep,

May you see beautiful dreams and wake up with abundance and gratitude.
