Let's take a moment to appreciate the beauty all around and inside you and in things we may have overlooked. We often feel like we lack so much but a simple practice like this opens us up to the magnificent beauty and abundance that we all actually have. Everything around us gives itself to us fully if we just open our hearts to it.

Welcome.

I want to do a little meditation with you all to absorb the beauty of the things around you.

This would be great to do on a Monday morning or right before you go to work if you're feeling stressed out or worrying about things you need to get done or upset about things you have to do or about the way things are going.

You can just take a step back and start noticing the beauty around you.

Start with some deep breaths deep into your belly and with your eyes open.

Just breathe.

Start to feel the sensations of the air coming in through your nose or through your mouth.

Start noticing the temperature,

The flavor of the air,

The little details.

Notice how you have so much air to draw from all around you.

You are blessed with so much.

So much sweet juicy air to breathe in.

Notice how much better you feel with each breath,

With each deep breath.

Notice how it gives you life.

And now without moving your head or your eyes too much,

Just take notice of something in your room.

Again,

Notice the little details.

The things that make whatever you're looking at special.

Not just another object,

Not just a definition in your head,

But the things that make it unique,

What it is in that moment.

The folds,

The creases,

Or the reflections,

The colors.

Just notice whatever you can notice.

And realize that whatever that thing is,

It's in your life right now for you to experience,

For you to enjoy.

It's fully giving itself to you.

It's holding nothing back.

There is so much love in the world around us.

Everything is just fully open for us to experience.

We might be open or closed,

But if we open ourselves to it,

There's so much for us.

Now move your attention to another object,

Something different.

And if there's nothing really,

You can just even look at a wall or look at the floor.

There's always something to find that we haven't seen before in these things.

And again,

Find the little details,

The colors,

The way the light hits it or goes through it.

Maybe you can even see a little bit of dust on it.

It's amazing how the whole world before us came to this moment.

All the dust had to fall just perfectly for us to see it the way it is now.

Everything had to arrange in total perfect synchronicity just for us to be here in this moment seeing what we're seeing,

Experiencing what we're experiencing.

As you're looking,

Notice the vibrancy of whatever it is you're looking at.

Try not to just look at it and say in your head that it's green,

But really notice that color.

Notice the different shades throughout the thing you're looking at.

Every inch of it is a slightly different color,

Even if it's all the same color.

Notice the beauty in that,

The magic in that.

Notice the stillness of the thing you're looking at.

And even if it's moving,

Try to see just how still it is somewhere deep inside and how it's mirroring that back to you.

And with that close your eyes,

Continue with your deep breaths,

Tasting that air,

Allowing yourself to feel grateful for every breath for this moment,

For all the air we have around us.

Try to drop a little bit lower into your heart.

See if you can notice your heartbeat.

Realize you don't even have to do anything.

Your heart's just beating,

Keeping you alive,

Keeping you well.

We get to live and enjoy and do whatever we need to do,

Whatever we want to do,

While our heart is in there working for us,

Giving us the time and the space to do our own thing.

Notice as your whole body starts to relax,

Just the relaxation floods in.

And with your eyes closed,

Noticing the blackness that you see or whatever it is you see with your eyes closed,

Just getting a feel for that.

If there's any light coming in,

Maybe.

Different colors.

Just thinking how amazing it is,

Even with our eyes closed,

We can see so much.

How blessed we are to have these sight organs.

Again,

We don't really have to do anything,

We just see.

We have so much.

And often we take it for granted and that's okay too.

We're so blessed that we get to take things for granted.

And that's beautiful.

And from this space,

Start with one thing that you're really,

Really excited about in your life and really grateful for.

Just it could be anything.

It can be this moment.

It can be your children.

It can be the clothes you're wearing.

And letting that gratitude and that excitement,

That energy really just flood through your body.

Notice it in the tips of your feet and in your heart.

Notice how it's making you smile.

And when you feel that,

When you really feel that,

Move on to another thing.

One more thing.

Something you're excited and grateful for in your life.

Something that makes you proud or just relaxed because you know it's good.

And sit with that for a moment.

Sit with the good feelings that it brings and let them flow through you.

Feel them everywhere throughout your body.

In your heart,

In your legs,

In your arms.

And now open your eyes again and say thank you to yourself,

To the things around you,

For everything that you've done for yourself.

For this moment,

You chose to be here.

And for the next moment as well,

When you turn this off,

Find a way to be grateful for that.

And throughout your day,

If you can just stop for a moment and notice,

Notice if there's anything around you to be grateful for or anything inside you to be grateful for.

Because it's always there.

There's always something,

If not everything,

To be grateful for.

And when we tune into it,

We can experience the love of that thing,

The beauty of that thing deeply.

And we can feel that all the time.

It's always there for us to feel.

It's always there for us to enjoy.

Sometimes we just get wrapped up in other things.

Those things are exciting too and that's good.

Another thing to be grateful for.

Thank you for listening.

I'm very grateful for you.

Have a wonderful day.

Bye bye.
