Transcript

Please find a quiet place to sit and do what you can to prevent distractions.

Please be seated in any meditative posture and allow yourself to be comfortable.

Activate your abdominal region to maintain an upright spine with its natural curves.

Place your hands on your knees or in a mudra of your choosing.

Slightly draw in your chin and rest your gaze on the space just ahead of you.

If you prefer,

Now is the time to gently close your eyes and mouth.

So let's start by taking a deep breath in through the nose.

Rest your attention on your breath.

It will be your anchor throughout this meditation.

If thoughts arise,

Simply acknowledge them and let them go.

Return to your breath.

Allow each inhalation and exhalation to bring you more presence.

Give yourself permission now to relax,

Unwind,

And allow the natural state of being to fill the space.

As you continue breathing,

Take in as much oxygen as you can,

Allowing your body to absorb this oxygen by pausing at the top of your breath.

Fill all the cells of your body being saturated with oxygen.

Now extend your pause a bit longer,

Making each breath slower than the last.

You can begin extending your pause more and more now with each breath.

You may even feel a sense of rejuvenation when you breathe in and hold,

Extending the period of time that your body can absorb this oxygen.

Your body is going through a state of rejuvenation while you do this practice.

While you hold your breath,

Tune into your heartbeat.

Can you feel your heartbeat?

And if so,

What does it feel like?

Now just let your breath go.

Allow your natural,

Harmonious breath to take place.

Do not interrupt or disturb the flow of your natural breath.

You don't have to do anything,

Just simply breathe.

As you relax into this practice,

Allow each breath to take you into a deeper state of relaxation.

Feel the coolness spread with each in-going breath.

Feel the calmness taking place with each out-going breath.

Experience your body posture becoming still and steady.

There should not be any tension in any part of the body.

Achieve to relax all of the muscles in your body.

Feel the cooling effect on the inhalation and the calming effect on the exhalation.

Now mentally scan your body from head to toe,

Being aware of any body parts that still aren't relaxed.

If you notice them,

Send them some love.

Relax them,

Move around a little bit,

Get loose.

And with each breath,

Spread this relaxation throughout your whole body.

Now focus your attention on your hands.

Feel the warmth of your hands.

What do your hands feel like?

Feel all the little cells that make up your hands.

Now move your attention up your arms.

Scan your arms up and down.

What do your arms feel like?

Feel all the little cells that make up your arms.

Now move your attention to your neck and shoulders.

Drop your shoulders and allow them to fully relax.

We store much of our tension in our lives,

In our back and our neck.

Feel all the little cells and tissue completely relaxed in your neck and shoulders.

As you breathe,

Notice the inhalation giving a slight rise to your chest and your shoulders.

And upon exhalation,

They fall again into a natural calm state.

Allow this relaxation you're generating with your breath now to spread and permeate all of your back,

All of your neck,

All of your shoulders.

Now include the spinal column from the top of your neck down to the base of your spine into your practice.

On your exhalation,

Scan your attention back up your spinal column to your neck.

And continue to ascend and descend your attention on your spinal column for the next few moments.

Notice also that all of your motion won't cafe retic Bliss but then will engage your focus to offend yourself,

To start again,

And people can feel a certain clarity of consciousness which also effectfully results from the expansion of space and thought.

Speaking about student activity,

The Now focus your attention on the base of your spine.

At the perineum,

This energy center is called Muladhara Chakra.

It has a red light coming in with each breath into the center.

And feel this center fire up and get stronger and stronger with each breath.

You are breathing in light to the base of your spine into the Muladhara Chakra.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.

Now move your attention to just below the navel.

This energy center is called Swadhisthana Chakra.

Visualize an orange light coming into the center with each breath.

Feel this center fire up and get stronger and stronger as your breath moves in and out.

Now move your attention to just above your navel to your solar plexus.

This energy center is called Manipura Chakra.

Visualize a yellow light coming into the center with each breath.

Feel this center fire up and get stronger and stronger as you breathe in and out.

Now move your attention to your heart center.

This energy center is called Anahata Chakra and it's located in the middle of your chest.

Visualize a healing green light coming into the center with each breath.

Feel the center fire up and get stronger and stronger and stronger as you breathe in and out.

Now move your attention to your throat.

This energy center is called Vishuddhi Chakra.

Visualize a blue light coming into the center with each breath.

Feel the center fire up and get stronger and stronger as you breathe in and out.

Now move your attention to your third eye.

This energy center is called Ajna Chakra located in between your eyebrow center.

Visualize a purple indigo light coming into the center with each breath.

And feel the center fire up and get stronger and stronger as you breathe in and out.

Now move your attention to your crown at the top of your head.

This energy center is called Sahasara Chakra.

It's located just above your head.

Visualize a violet tornado of energy coming into this chakra from the sky above you.

It's spinning and swirling around.

See all of your chakras.

They're all lit up.

All of these energy centers are activated in unison now.

Feel this tornado of energy run straight through your body from your crown to your base.

Feel every cell in your body recharge and rejuvenate from this energy.

Now come back to your breath just by simply noticing your breath.

Feel your breath from beginning to end for the next few moments.

Feel your breath from beginning to end for the next few moments.

Feel your breath from beginning to end for the next few moments.

Feel your breath from beginning to end for the next few moments.

Feel your breath from beginning to end for the next few moments.

Feel your breath from beginning to end for the next few moments.

Feel your breath from beginning to end for the next few moments.

Now,

I want you to focus your attention into your third eye center.

Keep your attention fixed on this center.

Remember to not lose focus of your mind's eye.

Thoughts will try and take your attention,

But keep your attention in this center.

Keep your attention and see how long you can stay focused on this point before being distracted.

Now I want you to envision a future outcome you want to experience.

Can you give your body a taste of a future experience ahead of the actual event?

Begin by generating the emotional connection from deep within your core as if this experience has already happened or is happening right now.

How would you feel?

What would be your emotional charge if you were experiencing this right now?

Project this intention out into the field for the next few moments.

Imagine this intention,

This energy,

This thought,

This emotional charge surrounding you in a protective light and it disperses further out into the air.

Now focus on the things you are grateful for.

Allow the loving and joyful energies from deep within your heart to heal your body,

To fill your body with love and kindness.

Now express compassion and send love to our brothers and sisters on Mother Earth that can be in unfortunate situations.

Send compassion to all the people in third world countries that are doing their best to live day by day through strife and oppression.

Send love to Mother Earth for housing and giving us everything we have in our life.

Send compassion to everyone and everything outside of you.

Now subtract all thoughts and just bathe in the energy of compassion.

Now,

Bring yourself back to your breath.

Be aware of your breath.

To finish this practice,

We will chant the universal mantra Aum three times together.

Bring your hands into prayer position.

Take a deep breath in.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Repeat after me.

Aum Shanti Shanti Shanti.

Aum Shanti Shanti Shanti.

Aum Shanti Shanti Shanti.

Feel free to rub your hands.

Allow the energy to build up in your hands.

Bring your hands to your eyes without touching and transfer this energy now.

When you are ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Namaste.

A truly wholistic practice combining breathwork, body scan, Chakra activation, and gentle visualization. Posture often confuses me as I find it difficult to completely relax all my muscles without collapsing into a slouch. The guidance did at least help me monitor when I was tensing and/or relaxing. Highly recommend.

No words can describe how intensely this meditation affected me. I cried, I laughed, I felt forgiveness, gratitude and immense love and joy. I feel cleansed by the universe and bathed in peace. I was lying down, and as the light was entering my body, my beautiful old dog who always lies next to me, put his head into my open hand, and I could feel his throat in my palm and together we were receiving the energy. He has never ever ever done this before. Thank you, really, thank you, no words 🙏
