Welcome to another StressFit meditation.

A wise man once said,

You cannot be lonely if you enjoy who you are with.

The fear of being alone is an anxious energy that triggers the mind and the body to be unsettled.

Unstabled energy can cause an influx of thought process that represents uninspiring thoughts.

The need to attract a partner to find fulfillment or connection comes from an unstable search to fill a void that cannot be filled by any external means.

As soon as the person is gone,

The void will reappear and the cycle of loneliness will continue.

Fear of loneliness comes from an agitated mind,

A mind that lacks connection with the present moment.

If you need someone in your life in order to feel happiness,

Then your happiness is dependent on that person.

Defining your feelings through other people will only confine your being.

The truth is that you are in control of your own emotional guidance system.

Having others influence your emotions can leave you being vulnerable to suffering.

Finding happiness within yourself,

Independent to anyone,

Will result in a joyful state that is expressed from a deeper sense of being.

This energy is a more fulfilling energy that can be shared with others to help them become more present.

Once you get comfortable with being alone,

It will empower you.

The Sanskrit word bhakti means love and devotion.

This powerful word teaches us to embrace the divine within our being.

The purest form of love comes from within.

The great sage Swami Sivananda teaches us that human love is all hollow.

It is mere animal attraction.

It is passion.

It is carnal love.

It is selfish love.

It is ever-changing.

True love comes from deep within your being.

A guru once told his student,

Unless you know how to be alone,

Then you will never truly know who you are.

In this meditation,

You will conquer the fear of being alone by connecting to your power within.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position for this practice.

Maintain a nice straight back throughout this practice.

Hands on your knees or palms facing up if you wish to lay down for this practice.

Let's start by taking in a few deep breaths.

Breathe in through the nose.

Gently release through the nose.

Be conscious with each breath as you feel your breath coming in through the nose and slowly going out through the nose.

Feel the breath enter the body.

Pay attention to the breath as it leaves the body.

Allow your breath for the next few moments,

Allowing yourself to settle into a relaxed state.

You are never truly alone if you realize and connect to your power within.

You have an abundance of love and potential within your being.

When you connect with this source,

There is no fear.

There's only true completeness.

The neediness we feel to have or attract a partner is an unsettled energy within our being.

This unsettled energy comes from the false hope that someone will bring us happiness or fulfillment.

This is an illusion of the mind that can cause us suffering.

Only when we lack connection with our true nature do we engage in such beliefs like something outside of our being could bring us happiness.

Any level of happiness that is associated with the outside world,

Including people,

Is short-lived as it is bound by the law of impermanence.

To find true everlasting happiness,

We must go within and connect to the infinite power that dwells inside our being.

Ask yourself,

Why do I fear being alone?

Your fear of being alone comes from the lack of connection you have with your true self.

Look deeper within yourself and connect to the essence that prevails all of life,

The power that transcends all fears and desires.

Notice your breath.

Notice your body.

What does your body feel like?

Feel your body.

There is an intelligence that animates your body.

Can you feel the essence that dwells within?

Internalize your attention until you feel the vibration that fuels your body.

It's very subtle initially,

And you must listen with your heart,

Not your mind.

Feel this power.

Subtract your thoughts.

You are not your thoughts.

Subtract your body.

You are not your body.

Feel the force of your being.

Neediness comes from an unsettled mind.

True fulfillment comes from your heart.

Focus your attention on your heart center.

Breathe in and out through this center.

Connect to the present moment.

Transcend all your thoughts and feelings and allow yourself to be here and now.

The more you connect with your true nature,

Your divine presence,

The less need you will have for an external source of fulfillment.

Sit in this silence for the next few moments and embrace your true nature.

Remember feeling this presence within your heart.

Learn to love yourself for who you truly are.

Embrace your presence.

Embrace the stillness.

You are your true best friend.

Making yourself happy comes first.

True happiness comes from within.

Love your being and rest in your heart sphere.

Learn to sit in silence and enjoy your being.

Independent to the outside world,

This is a potent level of meditation.

Embracing unconditional love on the deepest level of your expression.

The more time you spend in this space,

The more settled your mind will be.

With each breath,

Feel your presence grow.

Breathing in through the nose.

Breathing out through the nose.

An ancient master once said,

What you are searching for is where you are searching from.

For the rest of this practice,

Go deep within your being to find a place of comfort that transcends the thinking mind.

Let go of the unwanted energy that is the root of all attachment.

Embrace a deeper space that impregnates your being,

Giving birth to true joy and peace.

To finish this practice,

I will repeat a powerful chant from Bhakti Yoga.

There is no virtue higher than love.

There is no treasure higher than love.

There is no Dharma higher than love.

There is no religion higher than love.

Because love is the highest power and the highest power is love.

Love purifies.

Love transmutes.

Love redeems.

Love subdues.

Therefore kindle the light of love in your heart.

Now allow these sounds to take your being into a deeper state of relaxation.
