Alright,

Let's jump into now because really there's nowhere else to go.

Although the mind may think otherwise,

It can think about what was or will be,

But why go there anyway?

That's not even real.

The past is just a memory,

The future our imagination.

Only the present moment is real.

So let's pull ourselves into the moment and we can kind of intellectually start by thinking what that means.

And it means,

Okay,

I'm going to stop thinking about whatever I was thinking about or might need to think about and just be here and think,

Well,

What does here mean?

What is here?

It really means kind of being conscious of where your mind is at.

What is your mind doing?

So let's take a deep breath and think about it.

Well,

My mind is here presumably to develop itself,

To gain a greater awareness that will in turn enable me to find greater prosperity,

Happiness and peace in life.

At the most basic level,

If we look at Maslow's hierarchy of needs,

We're developing our mind and that helps us deal with life,

Helps us gain perspective in difficult situations,

Gain insight,

Gain inspiration.

But more importantly,

It brings more joy and love and peace in.

So I'm going to invite you into that state.

Let's tell our mind,

Look,

We're going to use this metaphor like an NLP,

Neuro-linguistic programming.

We want to create a vision of a place that's totally relaxing and would just feel really good to sit in and soak in.

A place that you wouldn't have to try to relax.

You'd just be relaxed.

So we might think of being up in the sequoias or near Mammoth in the hot springs.

Just think of a nice mineral bath or hot tub or just a Jacuzzi.

It could be your own bathtub.

And let's just step into this feeling.

So in our mind,

We're really directing our mind now.

We're saying,

Okay,

Instead of letting my mind just float around or respond to external stimuli,

I'm going to gather my mind and direct it.

And where do we want to direct it?

The whole point will in a word is God.

But if you're not so holy,

You might say,

You know,

Life itself,

You want to look at it scientifically.

Well,

What is that that makes me tick?

There's a life force current that animates your existence and whether you want to call it spirit or life force or innate intelligence,

It's here right now.

And it brought you to this moment because it's still evolving within you.

It's still developing.

There's something developing within the minds of men and women.

And our consciousness is expanding.

And these are relatively new terms in the vernacular,

But we want to think about,

Well,

What does that mean?

I'm expanding.

You're becoming more aware of yourself.

You're aware of your brain as a mechanism.

You're aware of your body as a cell structure,

Energy flowing through first the nervous system.

So let's imagine that.

Let's connect with that.

Let's connect with the body.

Just imagine the millions of cells in your body or billions of cells in your body,

Not to mention the bacterial and other types of life forms that reside in your physical universe.

And it's fed through these lines in your nervous system coming out of your spine,

Extending out to every extremity and every organ.

So let's practice.

Go ahead and make a fist and curl your toes.

So we can play with it in a way.

It's innate and natural for us to make a contraction.

No mystery there.

But if we think about,

Well,

What are we doing to cause the contraction?

It's just really being aware of an electrical current flowing through our nervous system to the muscles that creates the contraction.

So now release the contraction and find yourself completely immersed in the feeling.

So you've already disrobed from their mind and senses.

We can leave our body behind and just soak a spirit in this hot tub or jacuzzi of consciousness.

And I'll just read you some poems.

I just want you to feel good.

I want to invite you to open your heart and say,

Okay,

I'm going to give myself an hour to just nurture myself and my body,

My mind,

But more importantly,

My soul.

This is soul food.

I want to feed your spirit with spirit.

So breathe in.

First connect with your own spirit.

You feel it in your nervous system.

You can feel it or imagine it in your chi,

In the meridians in your body,

In electromagnetic fields all around your body.

So the visualizing helps.

You are an electromagnetic being and we don't always think of ourselves that way.

We usually think of ourselves in terms of what our mind is thinking and what we're feeling.

We identify with the neurological response.

Your mind thinks you're the composition of all the things you've been thinking and feeling,

What you want or don't want,

What you've experienced or imagined.

And those are really just imprints in the neurological configurations in your brain.

Like a program downloaded into chips and a computer,

You have a holographic experience of life.

But there's some other part of you that isn't,

It isn't your physical body and nor is it your mind.

It's not the pattern in the neurons.

It's the part of you that is aware of what's going on in your mind,

What energy is flowing in your body,

What brought you here to be hearing these words,

What's creating life within you,

What is animating your existence.

I invite you to breathe in as we soak in this hot tub or this jacuzzi of consciousness together and just reflect inward and say,

Well,

What is this that causes life within me?

What is this life that's frothing up inside me that gives life to me,

That causes my cells to regenerate,

Causes my heart to beat,

Causes me to reflect in this moment?

Breathe in and just connect to the life force within you that is you,

The spirit that you are and realize this,

This is your self-realization really.

It's this first step at a mental level.

It's much more than mental.

It's transcendental to the mind.

The mind cannot grasp the true nature of yourself,

But it can realize that your mind is not yourself.

And in a way,

You already know that.

So what we're really doing is just getting out of the entrapment of our own old mental conditioning to allow the aperture of our awareness to expand to ever greater heights until we can fully realize the nature of our self.

And in doing so,

We'll realize the nature of God because God is within and around and in everything.

We begin to see how it's a part of everything where before we didn't see it perhaps.

And that's what enlightenment is.

So I want to bring you into your own awakening,

Into your own enlightenment and see that there is a light that's coming out and insight and an energy that is growing from within you.

Feel it in your nervous system,

In your chi,

The electromagnetic fields around your body,

With the earth.

Feel it in the atmosphere as you breathe in.

Feel the prana giving life as you inhale.

And the earth is a part of the solar field,

Which is a part of the galactic field,

Which is a part of the universal field,

Which is expanding within the link potentiality,

Which is God itself,

The consciousness itself,

Which reflected upon creates apparent differentiation.

And that differentiating shows up as some kind of movement or change we call energy.

The origin of that energy we see as particles would appear to be they're simply delineations of consciousness.

And it's creating a field of time and space,

Energy and what we call matter.

And that's what the universe is.

It's ultimately a play of consciousness.

So let me take you on a little journey down the rabbit hole of your own mind.

We're going to dive into the very core of your own being.

And we're going to like convene in this heart space.

We're just going to create like this big lubby-dubby thing with God.

We're just going to throw the Mr.

Bubble in the jacuzzi of consciousness.

And kind of have fun like kids that have got high in this jacuzzi.

We're getting high on God in the jacuzzi of consciousness.

So breathe in and let me read you poems just as a way of sharing my love.

So breathe out and just roll it.

If you haven't already done so,

Roll your eyes up and gaze into your mind's eye and just relax and let go.

I'm going to read you some poems from naked soul.

And you might want to put your hands up for a minute if you've,

If you'd like doing this and just see if you can tune in with your palms.

I'm just going to send you some energy.

So you can always tune in just to the atmosphere itself.

You know,

There's always an energy around you.

There's always an energy within you.

And that's really the point that you connect to that source of life within you that is you.

But in exchanging it as we are now,

It helps bring it out from within you.

It's like exercise,

Like yoga.

But instead of doing a downward dog to work on your spine and your hamstrings and so forth,

What we want to do is have you take a deep breath and just feel like the breath of God,

Breathing life into your lungs.

Feel your heart opening.

I always like to say,

Lord,

Help me to be a pure vehicle for your love and light and wisdom.

And make it prayerful.

Make it meaningful.

Make this moment meaningful.

Allow this to be a day that you really connect with God in whatever way you conceive of our Creator.

Whatever made the big bang boom.

You know,

There's,

It's so big we can't really fully conceive it,

Can we?

We can reflect on words and it's nice to do so.

But even talking about God,

It's kind of silly because we can't conceive of our Creator.

And yet our very effort to conceive of our Creator or wonder about God,

Or even our own creation,

Comes from the Creator itself.

So an analogy I invite you to reflect on with me here is imagine the Divine was actually extending its intelligence and its life force into each and every one of us.

And in fact,

Everyone.

In fact,

Not every human being,

But every being,

Every animal and every,

Even at the level of plants and protozoa and the movement of planets and stars,

There's an innate intelligence in the way the life of this unfolding.

So I invite you to breathe in and just connect with that life force as if God had stepped inside your body-mind vehicle and was kind of living vicariously through each one of its creations,

Including you.

So there is in fact a spark of divinity that's alive within you experiencing life and it's experiencing it collectively.

So the same life force or spark in me is also living vicariously in each of you.

And the same thing that gives life to me is giving life to you.

So we might call that Holy Spirit or life force,

But I just,

I want you to be cognizant that there is a connection that we have.

And whether your hands are up in the air or down,

We can make this connection just by consciously intending to.

And so let's open up to first of all,

We're guided by the God,

The higher intelligence,

The life force,

The truth,

The light.

And as we breathe out,

Let's let go of our resistance and fears.

I like to say,

Let go and let God,

Let it just float in the jacuzzi of consciousness and in play in the frothy bubbles,

The Mr.

Bubble.

So the first poem,

God is love.

And just as a fish is unaware of the water that it swims in,

We reside in an ocean of love.

God's love.

God's love is the very medium that supports and sustains our existence.

And it's intoxicating.

Once we open our heart to that divine presence within us,

We enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The kingdom of heaven lies within.

Heaven is living in God awareness.

Love permeates your being.

It's what created you and what sustains you.

It's what's making your heart beat right now.

And it's what brought you to be listening to me in this moment.

In fact,

It's the listening.

Love is the path to finding happiness and peace.

You don't even have to take another step on the path for this path of divine love is right here,

Right now,

Guiding you.

Even as you were listening,

Love is what brought us together.

And as you connect with the inspiration that brought you to listen to me and the volition that brought me to write these words to share with you,

You will find,

In fact,

It is the same spirit guiding us both,

Guiding all of us.

So let us celebrate,

Laugh and play through this prose and poetry.

Let us share this love for God together.

Go ahead,

Take a deep breath.

Just roll your eyes up.

Feel your heart expanding.

As you breathe out,

Okay,

Inner silence.

Even the silence has its whispers.

Like the howling of a thought before it's spoken.

Like the knowing another's thought before they realize it themselves.

Like feeling what's going to happen and then watching it unfold.

Silence guides us.

Our answers come from within the quiet.

Peace is right here,

Just waiting to be noticed.

All the love you could ever dream of is beckoning you from within the silence.

Just love.

Silence lies between the words,

Between the thoughts.

You hear it between the sounds.

Even the sounds arise from within it.

And so do you.

What was there before is still here.

Just be still,

My love.

Listen to the stillness of the night,

To the quiet in your mind,

To the emptiness.

The universe is playing a song.

The stars are singing to you and God is dancing in the heavens.

Within the stillness can be heard a celestial orchestra.

The music of the seers,

The cosmic sound of OM.

Tune into this subtle current,

This little buzzing in your head,

To the floaty feeling,

The swooning of your soul.

This divine melody will blow your mind.

Conscious of consciousness.

The part of you that is conscious of being is your consciousness.

It existed before you took bodily form and exists after the body and mind expire.

It is what is observing your thoughts and feelings in this moment.

It is the witness.

Its focalization through your mind creates the experiences you call life.

And it also creates the sense of being separate from God.

Consciousness underlies all that exists.

Everything arises out of it and merges back into it.

Your consciousness is wholly a part of all consciousness.

It is all interconnected as one whole.

Consciousness itself is not differentiated except in appearance.

What you innately are is wholly a part of all that is.

To realize yourself,

Observe the part of you that is wanting to find you.

Whose do you looking?

Observe yourself trying to understand.

What part of you wants to know?

All this feeling back to its source.

Observe what you're feeling right now.

Observe the part of you that is observing the feeling.

Turn your awareness back upon itself and observe the observer observing.

Right now,

You are conscious.

Just be conscious of the part of you that is conscious right now.

The more conscious you become of your own consciousness,

The more your consciousness evolves.

The more conscious you are,

The less unconscious you are.

The mental cloud hanging over your awareness dissipates in the light of your own indwelling spirit.

Disillumination is your enlightenment.

The more conscious you are,

The more conscious you are.

Until you are fully conscious,

The sense of I dissolves and your true nature shines.

You are the light.

Go ahead and take a deep breath.

Just gaze into your mind's eye.

Observe the feeling.

My view.

From where I sit,

I have the most exquisite view of God.

It doesn't matter where I sit.

In fact,

It doesn't even matter if I sit.

My eyes don't even have to be open.

From where I sit,

There is only God.

God is always sitting with me.

From where I sit,

God is seeing me through the same eyes that I'm seeing God.

I'm seeing God seeing me,

Seeing him through me.

Aha.

Alright,

Take a deep breath.

Excuse me for coughing in your ear.

Alright,

Lord,

Which one is this?

Inspiration.

This one's called inspiration.

Does a man ever know who he is or where the hell he's going?

In looking outside of ourself to find ourself,

Are we not just going around in circles?

How come we don't know who we are?

And how will you know if you don't look?

So who am I to question who I am?

Most of us are too scared to look,

Yet our spirit compels us to seek.

It is our eternal quest to know.

It is your destiny to discover.

It's your purpose to find.

And you're being guided.

The proof is in your listening in this moment.

And what if it were true?

What if there really was something to find?

What if you really were being guided?

What if there really was a mission to fulfill?

What if there really was a true meaning and purpose to your life and existence?

Like,

Wouldn't that be worth knowing?

So how much longer will you deny yourself?

From this point on,

You know your spirit is guiding you to find.

So this thought's been planted in your head like a seed and is growing.

This yearning,

This light within you.

From now on in the back of your mind,

If not the forefront,

You'll begin to realize that there's something here to be realized.

The moment you realize that there's something to be realized,

Your realization has begun.

So just having considered this in this moment,

You are in fact in the midst of your own self-realization.

So think about that.

So that's an interesting thing to think about in itself,

Isn't it?

Reflecting upon your own self-reflection and your own enlightenment,

Becoming more enlightened to what your own enlightenment is,

For you to become more conscious of what your consciousness is,

More aware of what awareness is.

So just think about that.

This one's called Sweet Grapes.

Okay,

So we're in the jacuzzi.

Maybe it's time for a little refreshment,

Huh?

So go ahead and lean your head back,

Keep your eyes rolled up,

Gaze in that third eye.

Just imagine I'm coming over to you and I've got these grapes.

And I can remember one time,

Oh,

This is so sweet.

I'm so blessed with friends of mine that have children,

Some of the kids we surf with and stuff,

And they all want to sit in my,

I have this chair with a roller that massages your back.

So for the kids,

That's like a toy or,

You know,

It's fun to sit in it.

And so this one little girl,

She'd been waiting.

All the other kids were a bit bigger and they were kind of pushing themselves to the front of the line.

She finally got her chance at laying in the chair.

And it was about that time I broke out the organic grapes because I figured they'd want their refreshment.

And so I'm pulling out the grapes and of course everyone's diving for them,

But she's in the chair and she didn't want to leave that chair.

So she goes,

Steven,

Would you feed me some grapes?

It's like,

Well,

Sure,

Kid.

I don't know,

What was she,

Six or seven,

You know,

This little sweetheart in the chair.

And she's getting her little shoulder and head are flopping like a raggedy Ann doll because she's in the massage chair.

And I come down to feed her a grape and she's got her mouth open.

I thought,

That was like,

That was just a special moment.

So I want to have a special moment with you right now.

I want you to imagine that I'm feeding you grapes.

Just kind of flow with this.

Okay.

So this is called sweet grapes.

Dear friend,

Lay back comfortably and let me feed you grapes.

Ah,

This one tastes of mind freed of knowledge,

Of understanding and knowing.

Go ahead and chew that up.

Here's one that'll just dissolve in your mouth.

All that you feel,

All you believe and all your pain.

Yummy.

And this one is so sweet.

Go ahead.

You'll forget who you were.

You won't even know who you were.

So now let's just let all these grapes kind of ferment in your soul and we can all get drunk on God together.

Yeah.

For that.

Cool.

Take a deep breath.

Seeing the unseen.

Okay.

Well,

You can't technically do this one,

But you can pretend like you are.

Look at this page and all the words on it.

What makes it possible to read is all the blank spaces around each of the words.

Look at all the blank space on the page.

Usually we don't look at that.

The page makes it possible to see the words.

Now look at the sky between here and there,

The sun or some star.

Look at all the space that we don't see that makes everything that we see possible.

Within and around all the atoms in your body,

There's space.

It's mostly space.

The space is not only providing room for the atoms,

It is organizing the precise way,

The interacting,

Creating this life thing we call you.

Right now your cells are all regenerating.

Your heart is beating,

But you don't see it.

What is that?

Imagine if you could come to know this within yourself.

What if you could know your own soul?

What if your spirit could guide you?

How would your life change?

See,

Most people don't really have any idea who they are or why they were born.

Imagine going through your whole life not knowing.

You're not going to be one of those kind of people.

That creates so much pain.

You can see yourself waking up.

For the truth is revealed for those who look.

So let's have a peek.

Take a deep breath.

Roll your eyes up.

Seeing.

Another one that's visual meditation.

I am this.

Something has entered into my eyes and has taken over.

Something wonderful has gone into my senses.

Something wonderful has gone into my senses.

My nervous system.

My mind.

I am not me.

I am not me.

What I thought was me has left and something wonderful has taken over.

Something my mind cannot even conceive.

And it didn't even happen.

It's always been and it always is,

Just as it is,

Unchanging.

Oh yeah,

My mind still projects thoughts,

But that's all they are.

Thoughts,

No thoughts.

I just am.

I am as you are.

You are as I am.

In fact,

You are I am.

Take a deep breath.

I used to read about it.

So many books,

So many teachings,

So many teachers.

And I sat.

I sat and I prayed.

I sat and I meditated.

And I sat and tried to stop my mind from wandering for hours.

Then it occurred to me one day,

What caused me to sit so much?

What was I looking for?

And I surrendered.

And I was so happy.

I was so happy.

I sat and I prayed.

I sat and I meditated.

And I sat and tried to stop my mind from wandering And I surrendered.

And when I stopped looking,

When I stopped trying,

And there was nowhere else to go,

That I could just be.

It had nothing to do with any effort or anything.

There was nothing to surrender.

There was no one to surrender,

Nothing.

Like a fog dissipating in the sunlight.

The illusion of not knowing was lifted.

The one that was looking was no longer there.

And nothing can be said about it.

You can't even say that it occurred.

No one experienced it either.

Thou art this.

The eyes of God.

When you close your eyes and gaze into the dark screen of your mind,

Imagine that you were peering into the black pupil of God's eye.

Eyes are the gateway to the soul.

Through your mind's eye,

You will see the Divine looking back at you.

The same eye that is looking for God is being used by God to enable you to see.

You're an extension of God's vision.

You're an expression of His creation.

You're a manifestation of His will,

The product of His seed.

God is looking through your eyes.

God is experiencing life through you.

Today is not tomorrow,

Nor is it yesterday either.

Time is always seen from the present.

It's always now.

You get from here to any other point through now,

Even if now appears later.

Now doesn't come and go,

But only the memory of them or the imagination of what they might be.

If you see now outside of the present moment,

It appears to come and go.

Now never was nor will be.

Now is in a place to go or be.

Now is what you are.

Now is right here,

Right now.

Do you see?

This mind of mine.

Take a deep breath.

Have some more grapes.

Feel refreshed,

Feel loved.

Let yourself be kind of silly,

Relaxed,

No hurry.

No worries,

No worries,

No problems.

This poem is called This Mind of Mine.

The senses are so confounding.

Perceptions only differentiate,

But never show the whole.

Like a broken mirror,

I only see fragments,

Fragments or pieces,

Disjointed and incomplete.

In fact,

My mind only obscures reality.

It's kind of hard to believe because we're so conditioned to use our mind.

We put such credence on what we think,

What we understand or think we understand.

So much importance on what we believe.

Still,

We don't know.

We can't know because it's beyond the mind.

Yes,

It created the mind,

But it's so much more.

In fact,

We're scared of what we don't know.

So we find comfort in knowing,

Especially about what others think.

Like we can all agree what we can all believe.

It feels good.

But they don't know.

And those that know don't say.

They can't say.

I can't say.

It can't be said.

You have to realize it for yourself.

For that.

You must leave your mind behind.

Your awareness must transcend the mind and senses.

This is where we're going.

Right here.

Take a deep breath to know the same part of you that can formulate the question.

Also holds the answer.

The tests that you give yourself were derived from the part of you that already knows the answer.

And each lesson you learn is only validating what you already know innately.

Find who wants to know.

And then you'll know.

You know?

Take a deep breath.

Just for fun.

This one's called,

God is Groovy.

So I guess I'm kind of dating myself here.

Growing up as a child,

My elders,

My society made God out to be this grumpy old man.

Man,

He was always angry,

Vengeful,

Getting jealous,

Possessive,

Seemingly insecure.

He was always continually disappointed in his children,

Us.

We were always on probation,

Always getting spanked,

Always getting in trouble,

A bunch of sinners.

But since then,

I've learned something really cool.

God is groovy.

God is in fact the joy of life itself.

God is the love that sustains all of creation.

God in fact is creation,

Dude.

God is life.

God is love.

God doesn't hurt us.

We punish ourselves.

We limit him to our insecurities.

We attribute our fears to him out of ignorance.

When you come to know God,

You come to the very source of happiness and peace.

You come to limitless compassion.

You come to infinite joy and love and peace.

Incomprehensible.

When you come to know God,

You feel so much love in your heart that it dispels the anger,

Any condemnation,

Judgment,

Or fear.

To know God is to love unconditionally.

God is groovy.

The Awakening.

As I'm writing these words to you,

Thoughts are flowing through my head,

And then the pen,

And then the keyboard.

Spirit is extending itself through my body,

Reaching out to you through these words.

Oh,

Listeners,

I'm reaching out to you.

Listen within your mind.

What's drawn us together?

Why is Spirit bringing us together?

What are we here to learn?

What do we need to know?

These words are ringing in your ears like an alarm going off in your head,

Like your spirit is waking up from the slumber.

You're waking up.

Listener,

Come with me to a place that lies beyond the mind.

Just feel the ecstasy of your own being.

Come hither,

Enter into this kingdom of heaven that lies within us.

These words are nudging you a little bit closer,

Like St.

Peter at the gate,

Reaching out.

The gate's open.

The arm is extended.

Come on in.

I'm inviting you into where your own awareness dwells,

Your own consciousness resides,

Where your own spirit already is.

Your own spirit lives in the world of Spirit.

You are Spirit.

It's all been a dream.

Realize the Spirit that you are.

Feel the presence of God alive within you right now.

Realize this.

By the way,

I'm completely going off the poems.

I'm just making this stuff up.

I don't know what I'm doing.

This one's called Finding Pennies.

Some people are lucky.

Wherever they go,

They find pennies.

They find them on the sidewalk.

They find them in parking lots.

They find them in car seats,

In the couch.

These lucky pennies.

But I'm really lucky.

Wherever I go,

I find God.

I see him in the oddest places.

He pops up in arguments and he just kind of smiles at me.

He appears when I start talking about myself and he just smirks.

He shows up,

You know,

When I start getting too serious or start getting angry and he just winks.

Or he'll clear his throat.

I see him at work.

He hangs out inside my computer.

He goes to the same restaurants.

He surfs with me.

He's always on the freeway.

Works out at my gym.

In fact,

I see him reflected in the eyes of everybody I see.

My God,

He's everywhere.

Well,

He's God.

I'm so lucky.

This one is called,

Who Am I?

Born into a dream.

Sleep walking through life.

Accumulating things.

Not knowing from whence we come or where we're going.

Subjected to fate.

Lost in this sea of discontent.

Unfulfillment.

Pain.

Teaching us.

Pleasure guiding us.

Nobody even asking or knowing.

You know,

What the hell is going on?

And then one day,

Destiny brings us to this fated moment that we asked the most important question that we could possibly ever ask ourselves.

Who am I?

My friends,

Who are you?

Who am I?

Just asking yourself,

Who am I?

It's like it opens something up inside you.

And who's the I asking itself who it is?

Who wants to know,

Man?

Well here's a big question.

Who's God?

So an atheist asked me,

Who's your God?

I said you were life itself.

The probability that created the manifest state that we're now experiencing.

Then a Christian asked me,

Who's your God?

I said you were God the father,

The most merciful,

Loving,

Almighty God.

And then a yogi asked me,

Well who's your God?

I said you were the sublime,

The transcendental consciousness,

The universal being.

And then a Sufi asked me,

Who's your God?

And we just started laughing and sang and danced all night.

Buddhists asked me too the same question,

Who's your God?

We just sat,

Closed our eyes.

We said nothing.

But then how can I tell anybody who you are?

You're everything.

And yet nothing can explain you.

My mind can't even really conceive of you.

My words can't describe you.

It's really kind of silly even just trying.

Each person must realize you from yourself.

Each of us must realize God for ourself.

But still,

I'm glad they asked.

I'm glad we could talk about it.

Because I just love talking about you.

Deep breath.

This one's called Hungry Soul.

Just like your body,

Your soul needs food,

Needs fresh air.

It needs to smell the scent of shrubs and flowers and trees.

It needs to hear the birds singing.

It needs kind words.

And it needs laughter.

It eats up acts of kindness.

It thrives on selfless service.

It feeds on forgiving others.

And it has an absolute gluttony for grace.

It feasts on precious moments alone in savor silence.

But its favorite dessert is unconditional love.

Go ahead.

Take a deep breath.

This one's called Secret Code.

God has a secret code.

He speaks to us through other people,

Through children,

Through animals,

Through life experiences.

But here's the key.

When you hear anger,

This is a sign of fear.

It's a call for love.

So show compassion.

When you hear someone is hurt,

Or when someone is in trouble,

This is an encrypted code telling you there's a need for love.

So you should show compassion.

When you hear someone is hurt,

Or someone is in trouble,

This is God's secret ways,

Secret message calling for you to help.

When you see someone is having a hard time,

It's a sign to care,

To reach out,

To be there for someone.

And if you're feeling down and depressed,

If you're feeling angry or withdrawn,

If you're feeling lonely,

There's a reason.

You've forgotten God.

Just remember.

This is one of my favorites.

This is called God Dreamed.

Out of the emptiness of the void,

God dreamed.

And from this twilight dream came the starry sky.

Like clouds forming and dissolving,

Whole universes come and go.

Everything you see is temporal,

Fleeting,

Imagined.

What is unchanging is real.

That which it all arises out of is sustained by and merges back into is what is real.

Nothing is the something that makes life possible.

Nothing is what the mind calls what it cannot conceive of.

That which lies beyond it.

To realize God,

You must go out of your mind.

What we can't see enables us to see.

What we can't touch enables us to feel.

What we can't understand gives us the capacity to think.

And what we can't perceive provides for what we are calling life.

Everything you experience is only a modification of a previously existing state.

All that is manifest,

All that is tangible,

Is constantly changing.

Light is moving.

Sound is moving.

Heat and gravity and motion and thought,

They're moving.

In a constant state of change,

Energy particles arise and dissipate from within atoms.

Atoms come and go.

Molecules come and go.

Cells,

Life forms,

Planets,

Stars,

Galaxies,

Universes too.

They come and go,

Ever changing.

Only that which is observing it all remains the same,

Unchanged.

Even the consciousness is permanent.

That which reflects upon itself is the Self.

Listener,

Come with me to a place within yourself.

Follow your heart back to the source of your own being.

Feel my love reaching out to you and let us connect through these words so you may realize this truth yourself.

Close your eyes.

Watch your thoughts float past.

Who's watching the thoughts?

Turn your awareness around.

Go to the source of your awareness itself and I will meet you here.

Watching God.

If you want to know God,

Just look into a baby's eyes.

Play with a puppy.

Hold a kitten to your cheek or swim with a dolphin.

If you want to know God,

Just peer into the starry sky.

Contemplate the depth of the universe,

How it all came to being,

What supports it.

If you want to know God,

Allow yourself to fall in love with God.

Just sing and dance like a madman with no reason.

If you want to know God,

Observe the emptiness.

The space within and around the atoms,

Around all celestial bodies and all thoughts too.

If you want to know God,

Observe yourself looking to find Him.

To find God,

Find yourself.

If you want to know God,

Just keep looking because He's providing the volition for you to look for God.

He's here right now looking with you.

He's here right now.

Just keep looking.

This one's called God Realization.

To realize God is simple,

But it's so completely contrary to what we think.

It's the opposite of what you think and do.

In fact,

You let go of thinking.

You surrender doing.

Even the eye that lets go or surrenders ceases.

Whatever God is,

It just is.

And it's only our perception of what God is that ever changes.

The entire universe is revealed.

Who you are is revealed.

What God is is revealed already.

Only your mind projects the illusion of not knowing.

Your true self has already realized.

Who you innately are already knows exactly who you are.

Only your mind seeks.

Give up the search.

Thou art this.

Okay.

I think we have room for one more.

This one is called I Am.

And you can reflect on this and say it in the affirmative to yourself,

Rather than just be a passive listener to my affirmation,

I am.

I invite you to take a deep breath and maybe repeat what I'm saying to yourself in the affirmative.

I am.

I am the sense of I Am and that which is pondering what this means.

I am the volition to discover it and the source from which it came.

I am that which seeks itself the seeking and that which is sought.

I am that which is calling you to listen.

I am the listening itself.

I am all of existence and that which provides for existence to exist.

I am that which existed prior to existence and what remains after existence exists.

I am that which is conscious of my consciousness and aware of my own awareness.

I am the observer and the one observing the observer.

I am that which was before the beginning and after the end.

In fact,

I am the medium through which time arises.

I never was nor will be.

I am the time that I dreamt about.

I am that which wrote these words for you to hear,

Knowing that you would hear them and then in turn respond by listening to what I in part created myself.

I am what is reflecting in this moment and wondering how this could be.

In fact,

I am you and you are me.

So that is a meditation in itself.

In what way would that be?

Obviously,

You have a different cell structure.

Your cell structure is residing in a different physical presence than my own.

But yet,

Just as one life force energy flows through every cell in your human body,

The same consciousness is in every cell in your brain,

Same DNA.

In the same way,

We're part of a greater infrastructure of consciousness.

We're part of a greater universe of intelligence.

We're part of a collective spirit.

So I want to end today's class by inviting you to breathe in and putting your hands up and just connecting with the life force within you that is you.

And if you need,

Just remind yourself through this day that this life force is always here.

You always are what you are.

You in fact reside in the presence of the divine,

If you forget,

Just remember.

And come join me again next week in class.

Go to selfawareness.

Com to learn about our classes or listen to me on enlightenment radio.

I'd like to invite you all to enjoy good health,

Have a long life of prosperity,

Happiness and peace,

You're protected and guided by the divine and all your activities,

Day and night in all places.

May the whole world live in happiness and peace.

Om Shalom.

Amen.
