Chakra Meditation
This is your basic chakras balancing meditation, where you are guided to observe and feel the subtle energies that move through your body and connect with that life-force within you.
Transcript
All right,
Jai Guru,
And God bless each of you.
I invite you to take a deep breath.
And I'd like to dedicate this next hour to,
Well,
To yoga,
To the study of our own nature,
To understanding the essence of the life within us that is us and how it works through us,
How it animates our existence,
How it creates physical form,
What is its utility and purpose,
And how can it be applied into our daily living.
Understanding you experience is an expression of this energy,
What you think and say and do so it behooves us to connect with the source of life within us and understand how it moves in our life.
And that's really,
It's parallel to the process of studying any electrical circuit,
Any electrical energy.
But most people don't really understand those things.
I may use our understanding of what we do know because you have examples in your own home with every appliance,
Computer,
Or phone.
We see how energy is used to make things work and that similarly a life force current is working within you to make you work.
So let's start this class or the set saying this love in by tapping into that source of love and light and energy that animates our own existence.
So just recognize it's here because you're here and now you're being present to it,
Which is a sign that you've switched into perhaps a little higher state of consciousness from your ambient normal state.
There's a sense of heightened awareness that we are now developing.
So breathe into that.
What is this that is aware of itself?
And what is this moving through my nervous system?
And going through this kind of practice we have imagining we're going into a jacuzzi,
Taking off our shirt or blouse or jacket like it was whatever we've been thinking all day and say,
Well,
I don't need to think this anymore.
I'll just lay it here on the lounge chair and you can just step out of all your fears and resistance and kick off anything encumbering your feet,
Anything holding you back from moving forward in your life.
You just slip out of them.
Let's step into this metaphorical jacuzzi of consciousness together.
So it entrains our brain.
This is what we're doing.
We're directing energy.
We're gathering certain neurocircuits.
Most of you have heard this before.
It's like you're going back into your brain and a relaxation response will naturally begin to occur because you've already set forth into motion.
I think about jacuzzis.
I feel more relaxed,
Jacuzzi of consciousness.
I remember getting high.
And you start to remember and feel,
Kind of feel your way into that sense again.
So go ahead and find a comfortable place to sit.
Sit up straight.
Roll your eyes up.
Gaze into the third eye.
So we flick the switch on.
And that's the best place to start really is thinking,
Okay,
There's energy that makes things work.
And just like electricity runs through a house,
Electricity runs through your body.
It's physical electricity.
Now it's not just electricity.
There's an innate intelligence to how it's performing and there's a very complex set of circuitry in your body within your nervous system,
Within all your senses.
Only within your brain.
And so let's explore that together.
Let's go in and as we do so,
We'll also have a nice little chakra balancing meditation in the process because what we want to do is see how does this energy move in different ways into and through our body.
And we have all around us an example of how this basic principle of life works.
And that same principle is working in you.
So as you study it broadly in terms of universal principles,
You're really seeing the essence of your own being as it's manifesting through your physical form.
That's pretty cool.
So my friends,
Let us breathe in and feel the life force within us that is us and step out of our self,
Our day,
Our concerns,
Anything else that may be impeding in our present moment and all the joy and love and light that can come through us.
Let's just let that go.
Step out of it.
And it's like rinsing ourself off.
We just plunge into this jacuzzi of consciousness and let that spirit fill us.
Let that light fill us.
So first as you're sitting there,
Feel it in your nervous system.
Feel it in your chi.
Feel it in the electromagnetic fields around your body.
So you're luminous.
Now bring your hands up and feel it through you and me.
So we're going to create greater connectivity.
And so this principle,
Today's lecture,
Will really I think help understand the importance of why do we keep coming back each week.
You know,
Well,
Just to become more powerful,
To keep that energy going.
You're expending energy.
You need more.
Plus,
You want to increase your stock of energy.
You want to keep growing in your life,
Not only for health's sake,
Because that encourages cell regeneration and strong organs and the magnetism that holds the tissues together.
So all the organs function and the skin is nice and more supple.
There's more regeneration.
More regeneration is more life,
More youthfulness,
More glow,
More happiness too,
More pep in your step.
I'm pushing 60.
I still surf for hours or so at a time,
Sometimes two,
And I feel great.
I can push myself like I was 19 because all this energy is moving through me.
As I'm talking to you,
There's energy coursing through my body.
But you develop that,
Like going to the gym.
You pump up.
If you start flaking out and don't meditate and don't sit for an hour every day,
Well,
Okay.
It's kind of like having a wimpy life.
That's all.
You're just not as bright and that doesn't make sense,
But you know how the mind is.
Mind always makes excuses,
But as you evolve,
You don't listen to those excuses.
So that's how you can test your level of evolvement is how connected are you and how much love are you feeling and how much light is flowing through you.
And if there's room for more,
You open yourself up to receive more.
So all throughout everything from the smallest,
If we break all matter down,
Sit here in the jacuzzi with me,
My friends,
Breathe in,
Just turn the switch on in your third eye by rolling your eyes up and gazing into your third eye and let that current flow.
And with your hands up,
You're just a terminal and you're absorbing energy.
So it's very simple.
And as you're inhaling,
Just draw that feeling in and let yourself be lit.
And if you want,
You can drop your left hand and take that right hand and just tap your third eye again.
So it's some of the energy that transferred into your hand.
You can then touch your own third eye and the combination of your energy and mine coming together will just kind of help magnetize that.
And that's kind of the point,
Magnetize.
You see,
Everything in life is a change.
It's some form of energy.
Light is energy,
Sound is energy,
Movement is energy,
Even matter is energy.
This is what Einstein proved with his famous equation M equals MC squared,
Where we see the essence of all constituents of matter are energy particles known as the proton and the neutron,
Which create the nucleus.
So the proton is referring to the positive,
Expansive force.
The neutron doesn't have such an expansive or neutralized or negative force.
So it kind of mediates the effect of the proton.
And then around this nucleus,
There'll be numerous what are called electrons or the negative charge,
The other side.
So let's,
These two forces work together and there might be multiple to mediate the force.
There might be one electron or two or multiple.
And that's the contractive force.
So from the outside around,
There's this negative force kind of crushing or pulling inward,
The gravity comes in to the earth,
Pointing to the earth.
The proton is the expansive pushing out,
You see?
So you see these basic principles,
Expansion and contraction from negative to positive,
Something moving from one end to another.
So there's a potential that when expressed becomes realized,
Something begins to move or change and we call that energy.
And so a volt is a potential.
We talk about volts,
Like so many volts,
What it means is there's a potential,
Whether it's a battery or the voltage coming out of a plug in your wall.
We're talking about an amount of energy that could come out if you made contact with it and let it flow.
So there's a potential for energy to flow.
And that's very much what your life is.
You are a walking potentiality and your life changes as what comes out of you as the energy expresses through thoughts,
Feelings,
Words you say,
The way you conduct yourself,
The actions you take.
All that is a form of energy that is flowing out of you.
And so in our body,
Everything,
So the energy particles within the atoms,
And even if you break them down into quarks,
That means just that an energy potentiality that is coming to a form of say a proton or electron has a spin.
So they call them upward spins or downward spins,
Up quarks or down quarks.
It just relative to the way the energy is flowing up or down,
Which is actually relative to the way you're looking at it.
That's all it is.
And then they broke that down into before that begins its spin,
There's a potential for it to arise in a certain way.
And depending on where you look at it,
It will perform as you see it.
And so they call this the hadron or the god particle,
Which is affected by what's called the gluon,
The way it relates and its pattern and its field.
And that ultimately gives it its own spin,
Which they're calling the quark,
Which creates the type of energy particle it becomes,
Such as the proton.
And they are always a part of something else.
The two have to work with another end.
So everything that comes out is always related to something else,
Isn't it?
Look at it this way.
Everything you experience is only a modification of a previously existing state.
You're looking at light.
The light is changing,
Different intensities of brightness.
The thing you're seeing is slightly changing.
The sounds are changing.
What you're hearing are different oscillations in the volume of my voice and the repetitive spaces between what I say.
And all that,
Your mind is differentiating these changes.
And so is movement from one place to a time itself.
So everything we're seeing is a change according to some form of energy.
And energy is always moving.
Energy has to move.
Energy has to move.
So consciousness as it moves creates energy,
Which creates form.
So in your body you have energy moving.
So let's expand this principle out from the atom.
We see certain attractive and repulsive forces.
We see a current flowing.
Its attractive force will maybe bring it alongside another atom.
Maybe it's another atom of its kind and it can create a compound like gold.
It's lots of gold atoms working together.
They've bonded.
So we go back to our analogy of a paperclip holder and think of all paperclips.
We think,
Okay,
They're hold together by a cohesive force that makes them kind of one.
And so as the atoms interact forming greater configurations of atoms,
The patterns of energy that run between them are more differentiated.
They're more distinguished.
They become more developed.
There's more articulation in the way that pattern forms,
Which is the beginnings of what we think of as intelligence.
But the changing patterns create a certain character,
The way that it acts.
It has a more precise and defined character.
So every time the energy goes from one place to another,
Think of an old fashioned diamond in a phonograph record and you'd have this material that would have cuts in it.
And as the diamond was passing,
As the wheel was turning,
Spinning the material,
The diamond was going through a groove and the vibration,
The way that the little diamond would move back and forth,
Would create different oscillations,
Which when amplified would come out in a vibration of a certain tone and sound.
So this is what's happening all the way down even at an atomic level,
The same basic principle as the energy moves through towards this molecule and then bounces to this one,
It bounces to the next one,
It bounces to the next one.
That particular configuration is now contained in a field.
Now that it's in a field,
That's like the groove.
The field holds the pattern.
The pattern creates the character.
It acts a certain way because it has a pattern.
You act a certain way because it's your pattern.
If you get angry about something,
That's your pattern.
And people know,
Well,
Steve sometimes opens his mouth and has to say something.
Or David would say,
Sometimes I get angry.
Sometimes I don't want to do what I'm told if I'm a Capricorn.
We all have patterns.
And so that's a matter of configurations of attractive and repulsive forces that have collectively created like a circuit.
So a circuit is energy flowing in a loop.
And energy flows through materials that conduct electricity.
Your conducting material is your bone marrow.
You have cerebral spinal fluid that is like the battery fluid that conducts electricity up your spine.
And in your brain,
Particularly your whole brain is floating in this liquid that's pretty viscous and it's cerebral spinal fluid.
That's why cerebral meaning head,
Spinal meaning spine.
And it's kind of keeping the nerves soaked in this conducting material.
And there's where the patterns are held.
The patterns become imprinted chemically in what we call hormones.
And those are created in what we call our endocrine system,
Which the yogis call chakras.
So the chakras are the transistors and transformers that move the energy from one pattern to another.
Each different pattern creates a different hormone.
Different hormones create different biological effects in your body.
So that's the overview.
So let's explore that a little bit.
And as you breathe in,
Just feel the electrical circuit in your body.
We know that is the Kundalini.
So for a current to flow,
It has to move from a higher voltage to a lower voltage.
Currents always flow from a higher voltage to a lower voltage.
And then back up again.
It forms round and round,
Which is a circuit.
So from the higher,
So think of something,
A higher amount of energy that's going to a lower amount of energy.
Something needs to be released.
And this is what's happening with spirit through a human being.
From the high above,
We're moving from a high voltage,
A higher source,
God even,
Through spiritual realm into these what they call causal and astral and now into physical form.
These are different vibrations that bring us down,
Root us down.
Like yesterday's talk,
I was speaking of the Tree of Life in the Kabbalah,
Explained in the Sefirot,
In the Tensifera,
And in the Bihir,
And the Zohar for that matter.
All the Kabbalah teachings explain that spirit comes in,
It roots at Malchut,
It's grounded in the earth,
And then it moves back up and it,
Through transformers,
Your life experience,
Transforms you and develops you to become a greater vehicle for the light.
Your vibration changes as your energy moves up,
Your chakras to the top of the head.
So you see there's a transforming experience.
That's why Kundalini,
We're talking about let's move it up to the crown and why sometimes we can get blocked in other chakras.
Now the first thing I want to say when I talk about chakras is most of the stuff you read in books is written by people that are not enlightened and they don't know what they're talking about.
And it's embarrassing that so many Americans think they're qualified to talk about chakras when they're really saying foolish things that aren't true.
And the whole metaphysical genre has really made all these mythologies about it.
I was fortunate to study with three different,
Literally the greatest Kundalini masters in India,
Yogi Bhajan,
Bittateri Maharishi of the Siddha line,
I'd studied with Muktananda,
I'd studied with them all,
And they're all in concert with the same views.
So the views I share with you come from the views of the greatest masters in India.
And they're at odds with what the metaphysical people sometimes say.
And I'll give you an example,
I had a guy come over,
He had a didgeridoo,
He's a great guy,
I'm not going to mention his name.
And I was talking to him getting on the floor and forming a circle and they took different stones and they put them on your chakras,
I got a nice rose quartz crystal on my heart chakra and then he went around with his didgeridoo and he blew air through this tube basically and made interesting sounds that I'm very familiar with because I happen to be familiar with the aboriginal people of Australia,
I think I told you just a few sat things ago,
I met them in dream time and later met them in person in Australia.
And I think they would have had a lot of fun listening to this guy and watching him play the didgeridoo,
But he's telling us,
Well I'm going to blow my didgeridoo over your heart chakra and it's going to open it and then the rose quartz crystal is going to open your heart chakra.
And this other crystal you're going to put over here and this is a very metaphysical thing that you hear a lot and it kind of makes me cringe,
Not that there isn't some truth to it,
But what they're using are talismans.
The blowing through the didgeridoo isn't really going to do anything to your heart chakra except open your heart because you've created a condition now and the ceremony is just providing you kind of the space to let it happen in a way and the person that's blowing through their didgeridoo no doubt cares about you and they love thinking they might be able to do something to help you so that desire for them to bring a healing energy through whether it's through their didgeridoo or not,
That's a good thing.
So it's not like it's not working and yes the rose quartz does have a nice vibration but it's not actually going to change the vibration.
The vibration that your chakra balances at is not physically there and those colors and the color charts,
Your chakras don't physically vibrate in the color spectrum of purple or blue or yellow or orange or red.
Those are really more of a metaphysical or a metaphor I should say just to show because you can feel different vibrations as we put our attention on these different chakras.
I just don't want you guys to,
Especially if you're representing Self-Awareness Institute,
Don't say things that aren't true,
Don't say it because you read it in a book because most people talking about this stuff don't know what they're talking about.
And yoga,
I'm already kind of disappointed in the whole yoga movement because there's so many people that think they know what they're talking about and they don't.
It's hard to even reach most yoga teachers anymore because they're so full of what they think they know and they don't know.
That's what's so funny.
They think they know and they don't but you guys are beginning to really know not only because I'm teaching you but because you're experiencing it.
Then you know.
So energy has to move from the most powerful down and this is known in the Tree of Life as that God brought down to a single thread a spark of divinity that's rooted on the earth and that's what we are.
We're grounding this spiritual energy and we're meant to bring it out into the world so as it comes up it's literally coming up the spine and moving up to the top of the head and this is evolving our consciousness.
This is the whole purpose of Kundalini that we connect with our Atman,
That our spirit that's causing life within us that is us can move up unimpeded if there's any blocks in what they were calling chakras that those blocks are open and that the energy can flow unimpeded and clearly out,
Up and through the top of your head and then there's a full and unimpeded connection to source itself and then your body mind vehicle is a pure instrument for your own indwelling spirit to shine forth and guide you.
So think of your potentiality or your spirit body is like a balloon and if you open up the opening of the balloon,
The balloon wants to let the air out,
Right?
So if you can create a conductive pattern between higher voltage to a lower,
You can create electrical flow.
So every source of electricity has two sides,
Right?
Has a negative and a positive.
If there's no place for it to go,
It doesn't do anything.
So if you have a source of energy,
And don't do this,
But if you plug it into your light socket or something,
In itself it wouldn't do anything.
You could put a wire in it,
But the wire has to be connected with a negative.
The positive needs to be connected with a negative for anything to happen.
As soon as it has a place that it can go,
Then all of a sudden,
Boom,
A current is created and the energy can flow.
And this is what's happening in your body.
As you breathe in,
You're pulling in from the source and a higher power is looking to be expressed through you.
So it comes in,
In this case through your nostrils,
And your left side is the enda,
It's called,
And the right side is the pingala,
And these two channels run down the side of your spine.
So it's the actual nerve conduit that corresponds to this.
And what happens is,
This energy then,
It's still in its potential form,
Comes together down at the base of your spine.
So let's go down there together.
Let's meditate at the base of the spine.
And just to help tune in here,
I want you to tighten your PC muscle,
Your pubococcygous,
So that's basically your rectum,
Or the muscles you would use to stop a urination or bowel movement.
Just contract those muscles like a kegel exercise,
In other words,
And then release them and tighten them again and release them.
And what that does is it really helps you kind of feel down there and kind of get a sense of where that is.
We're not normally very aware,
Unless we're going to have sex or something,
We're not usually aware of a feeling down there.
But I want you to squeeze and release.
And by putting our attention there,
And you want to do this probably once a month anyway,
You guys,
Just to really get grounded,
Especially if you're on your menses.
This will help relieve any tension or cramping.
And that uneasiness might occur with a man as well.
And periodically we just need to ground.
So this is a very grounding element here.
You tighten and release.
This is known as a Sweeney Mudra.
And this chakra is called Mooladhara,
The root chakra.
So keep squeezing and releasing.
And just imagine,
So we can imagine in this red.
We assign that color really to differentiate it because we can find a nuance of energy through the different color spectrum.
But it's not like you really have a red vibration because red is actually a certain vibration.
And that vibration isn't what's happening in your Mooladhara.
It's in a whole different spectrum on the energy spectrum.
But there is an energy there and you can feel it probably right now as you're tightening and releasing.
And I'm sure your Mooladhara is nice and red and primed up.
And this is the source of your physical strength.
So what happens is,
As energy is coming in,
There has to be a certain construct,
A certain platform or foundation from which the element can be expressed.
Just like in a light bulb,
You need a filament for light to come out.
In a circuit,
You put in what's called an LED,
A light emitting diode.
And that takes some energy and it utilizes it.
So now that potentiality of the volt that's being expressed through the circuit,
As it finds something to do,
As it's used in a certain way,
That energy is then applied,
That application of the energy is using energy.
It's taking some energy.
So what's happening in your root chakra?
What's taking energy in your root chakra?
Well there's the production of the estrogen and the testosterone,
The hormones that produce physical strength.
So the bodybuilders,
In the old days anyway,
They would take testosterone.
Even today,
Doctors might shoot steroids or different kinds of hormones into your body to affect the physiological change.
Or estrogen might be needed.
Too much estrogen in a man will create this prostate problem.
That's why you've got to avoid all dairy products because they're full of estrogen from the cows.
They want to make the cows produce as much milk as possible.
So all milk and dairy products are laden with this.
This is also why women are getting breast cancer.
This is coming out of a male clinic by the way.
So you guys just avoid all dairy,
Please.
And I would suggest meat.
Meat being,
You need a certain amount of estrogen,
You need a certain amount of testosterone,
And your body knows how to balance that.
When the energy is flowing,
There is a balance.
When there is an imbalance in the energy,
There's maybe a lack of.
So a woman for instance,
Experiencing menstrual cramps,
Is a classic case of the body trying to produce estrogen and not enough energy is going into the ovaries or the uterus either because they got a hysterectomy or they're not taking time off for their menstrual cycle.
Instead they're working and their body is stressing out.
Most native cultures would have a moon lodge and for three days of their,
At least of the flow,
They would sit amongst themselves and usually women in a village would have their menses at the same time around full moons,
Hey.
And they would honor that tradition.
But in the western culture,
We keep pushing and pushing and pushing.
So your body is going,
Hey,
Hey,
Hey,
I need to produce more estrogen.
And so it cramps.
You think,
Well why is it cramping?
Well what happens when you cramp?
All of a sudden your attention goes where?
Your attention goes down to where the cramping is occurring.
Where is the cramping occurring?
It's occurring right around the area where the estrogen is needed.
So it's forcing you to say,
Hey,
Put some energy down here.
My cramping is forcing the energy.
So you don't want to get it to the point where you have to cramp.
You want to put that love energy down there.
And this goes for men too.
I just use the menses because it's such a classic example of how this works.
Once the energy fills up,
The menses is a natural flow.
There's no problem.
There's no discomfort.
There's no cramping.
It's actually a lovely experience.
And a lot of women will say,
Yeah,
Wait till you have one.
But no,
Ask a woman that is.
.
.
This happens more in China where they use herbs and acupuncture to facilitate flow.
Like it's in Dongkai if there's been a block.
So we want to understand that a chakra is a place where the energy transforms.
Now it's going to move from the positive pole to the negative pole.
All energy always moves from the negative to the positive.
It has to flow.
It has to have a place to go.
So when your root chakra goes from left to right and right to left and round and round and round,
And it needs to be transformed.
It needs to move in a certain way for it to be applied in a certain way.
So your body has special needs of how it wants it applied.
What vibration can create the estrogen or testosterone as an example?
That's a vibration.
So that's a certain pattern.
So we represent this in electronics.
Just picture a wire.
And you say,
Okay,
The left side is negative.
It's going over to positive.
And from left to right and then back again because the electrons go from positive to negative.
But just imagine you then took the wire and with your fingers you just bent it.
And then you took another,
Moved a little bit and bent it again and bent it,
Bent it,
Bent it,
Bent it.
And you bent it seven or eight times.
And then you extended that wire out.
And you held with your left hand you're holding one end of the wire and the right hand you're holding the other end of the wire.
And in between,
So for maybe two inches on each end it's straight,
But in the middle because you bent it,
The wire goes up and down,
Up and down,
Up and down,
Up and down.
So what you do is if the energy is going down and it's no longer straight,
It's got to zip up and down and up and down.
What you did is you slowed it down.
Resistors are resistance.
And so in electronics we have what are called resistors.
And what resistors do is they create a certain amount of patterns of up and down.
So it takes a vibration and it moves it from a very high to say a very low.
And you can move it from low to high and high to low.
You can change it.
A capacitor can do the other thing.
It can store it.
It can lengthen or stretch out the wire again and let it pass more smoothly letting it come out faster,
Stronger.
But sometimes you don't want it to come out too fast and strong.
That could burn out your wire.
You want it just a certain amount.
If you do it too much you'll have a circuit break.
And that's why we always have circuit breakers in case you say,
Okay,
I don't want to overload my circuit.
So you can experience this in your root chakra when there's too much energy you call that horny.
We can laugh about it,
But isn't that what it is?
Oh,
I got all this energy down there.
And maybe that's because you love your spouse and maybe it's just because,
Ooh,
I got a lot of energy down there.
Whatever it is,
It turns you on if it was your kissing or whatever.
But now there's surplus energy and your body is telling you,
I need to release.
So the yogi,
So there's times you want to do that.
And there's a certain amount of capacity and a certain amount of energy you will expend there naturally.
But your circuitry now can pull that energy up your spine.
Because that first chakra is a place where your energy was conducted in a certain way,
The vibration changed.
Because the vibration changed as it moved through your ovaries or through your testicles,
The pattern was slightly modified creating more or less of and different types of those hormones.
And if you look at the hormone,
You say,
Well,
What's a hormone?
You'll see that the chemicals are made up of molecules that have their own patterns and the patterns that were formed,
Formed given the energy that was moving through them,
Causing them to couple or group in a certain way.
Think of snowflakes.
This creates the sacred geometry of life.
And so that pattern can stick together in one way like a Lego,
But it won't fit in another way.
So nature said,
This is the pattern I want.
And this pattern,
We'll call it estrogen,
Then my body will produce enough of these chemicals that it can start developing more cell tissue for the embryo that's now in my body.
Or if it's a steroid,
If it's testosterone,
Your body is saying,
Okay,
I want to take these chemicals and put them in this other kind of configuration.
And what that's going to do is tell other parts of my body to start putting amino acids in a certain configuration.
And we call that amino acid configuration a muscle.
So if you say,
Okay,
I'm going to have lots of these signals saying,
Put your amino acids in a protein chain,
In a branched amino chain.
And when you look at branched amino chains,
You say,
Oh,
These are,
When you put these Legos together,
You have whatever you have,
A Star Wars battleship or whatever.
In your body,
The way all those amino acids actually kind of group together form the tissue.
Okay,
So now we move up.
We understand our root chakra a little better today.
Now let's go up to the second chakra.
So what does that mean?
I go up to the second chakra.
It simply means the energy now is moving up the center of your spine,
Just like there's a current that runs into your house.
Well,
Now that energy's got to move off into other areas.
One's going to cool your refrigerator.
One's going to heat the stove.
One's going to light the room.
One's going to run the computer.
So in the same way,
Your computer is your brain,
Right?
So you need some energy going into your head.
You need some energy going into your heart to make it beat.
You need some energy making your lungs expand.
You need some energy to go to the bathroom and digest your food.
So we know that.
So what happens is each endocrine gland and each chakra is the place where the energy is transformed so it can do this other thing that you need.
And so your whole Kundalini is a circuit.
And all your endocrine glands and all your chakras are a matter of being resistors and capacitors as well as conductors and circuits.
So you've heard me talk about the breaker and the switch up in your third eye.
There's another great example.
Your capacitors are where you build up the energy.
That's why we do Shaktipat.
We want to build up our chakras.
The diodes are ways to control.
In a current,
A diode is a way that you control the direction that the current flows within your circuit.
Well,
That's very much the same thing that's happening in your nervous system in general because the nerves are conducting energy to a different organ or to your fingers or toes and muscles,
Telling your muscles when to expand and contract.
Bring blood in.
There's a little valve on,
Off,
On,
Off,
On,
Off.
It's all a machine.
On,
Off,
You call that walking.
Move this way,
Move that way.
Left foot,
Right foot,
Left foot,
Right foot.
It's all automatic.
You've programmed your body.
And we've had programming over millions of years,
So our whole body is adapted to standing up straight.
And even as we're starting to wear heels and stuff,
Our human beings are adapting to the clothes they wear and to the environment that they're changing around them.
And you'll have postal anodes and what are called negative cathodes.
So these are just terminal points in your body where the energy is transferring from one current to another,
From one application to another.
And that whole system of put together became what is known as the integrated circuit,
What more commonly is referred to as a chip.
So if you go into your computer or your phone and you undo it,
You'll see there's usually like a green board with holes in it and there's these black things that are plugged into it.
Each of those little black things are filled with billions of resistors and transformers and capacitors and sensors and all these different ways that they're just making energy move one way or another and holding it,
Expanding it,
Making it faster,
Making it slower.
And that's what your whole life is,
Different amounts of attraction,
Repulsion,
Moving faster,
Slower,
Learning to adapt to the changes in your life,
The changes that come in through what you're seeing which is energy,
What you're hearing which is energy,
What you're understanding which is energy and everything in your life,
Everywhere you go,
Everything you do is some kind of energy and you're energy interacting with energy.
And now as we go up into the next chakra,
We're going to say,
Okay,
We got a certain physical level manifest.
Now we're going to go into what we might think of as more emotional.
And so this corresponds with our adrenal glands which produce what?
Adrenaline.
And what is adrenaline?
Well,
We know if,
Like if you watch Jaws and you see the big Jaws shark,
Your palms get sweaty and your heart rate goes up.
What just happened?
Adrenaline kicked in.
You see a rattlesnake.
Someone raises their voice.
Someone does something you didn't like.
Boom,
Heart rate goes up.
What is that?
Well,
Right on top of your kidneys are two little glands and they too have their terminals and one is more positively charged than negative.
So as that energy now moved up the spine,
There's a place where the energy starts to move differently.
It's moving round and round like a wheel and that's what chakra means,
Wheel.
So the yogis are simply explaining this is where the energy is moving around.
They didn't say testosterone and endocrine glands.
Those weren't,
First of all those are English words and it was at a time and place where they had a different way of describing it.
So they actually described it in great depth.
They knew about the endocrine glands.
They knew there were glands there.
They had different names for these things.
So as we go up to the second gland,
We say it's emotional.
If there's a lot of adrenaline in your body,
You feel a lot of shaking.
It's almost like coffee or something.
You can feel this kind of,
You're a little hypersensitive.
That's why when we breathe here,
We say,
Okay,
Well how can you quote,
Open the chakra?
What we're saying by open the chakra is if there's a block because there's an emotion and you're kind of just putting all your attention on what you're feeling,
Then what's happening is that being stuck on that feeling is keeping the energy from moving up.
And so you've got blocked energy,
Right?
It's literally blocked.
So the yogis say,
Well you can make a sound if it's down here.
There's different sounds.
The ah sound is a good one for opening up.
Breathing down here,
So we do the pranayama.
We've learned the hamsa kriya.
What is one of those kriyas?
Down here in the diaphragm.
Now that's actually working both the second and third chakras,
Which work together,
Not surprisingly.
So as the energy moves up,
There's yet another gradient,
Another way it's transformed as it moves up the scale.
Just think of different strings on a guitar.
Bing,
Bing,
Bing,
Bing.
So as you go bing,
Bing,
Bing,
Bing up your spine,
Each chakra has a slightly different resonance then.
And so if you're stuck down in your emotional center,
Well that's partly also in your mula dohara.
So you have your pancreas and your spleen here.
And they are the two terminals that go back and forth and round and round.
And what do they do?
If you say,
Well in modern science,
What does your pancreas and spleen do?
Well they work together to create your blood sugar,
Your insulin it's called,
Where you store energy.
So that affects,
Your blood sugar level affects your moods.
That's why if you're ever at a party and your kids that have more sensitive nervous systems have a big piece of cake,
You'll see they all get wound up within 20 minutes,
Whee,
All of a sudden they're just all over the place.
You can't control them.
And then they start to fight and then they get a blood sugar drop.
And all of a sudden,
Boom,
They start crying,
They get whiny,
They want to go home,
And you do too because they're not fun to be around.
They just got drugged is what happened.
You just gave them this,
First of all,
Highly toxic white sugar.
If mothers only knew how toxic that was.
To give a kid Coca-Cola is sick in my mind.
Plus it's actual,
Coca-Cola is the biggest producer and biggest user of the Coca plant from which cocaine comes from.
All they did is extract one of the 14 acculoids that gets you high.
So people are,
Coca-Cola and Diet Coke are the two biggest drinks in the world outpacing all the other beverages in the world,
Two to one.
And it's because it's highly addicting,
Because it's full of Coca.
So don't give your children Coca because you'll make them Coke addicts.
And I'm not kidding.
So anyway,
That's why your blood sugar is so important because what happens then,
You have ADD,
You have all these kind of like kids that are spun out,
Their blood sugar screwed up and you're going to make a diabetic before they're even a teenager.
It's sad.
You don't want to mess with your blood sugar and that will affect how you think.
Jesse was asking me,
Well how on earth did your third chakra have to do with your mind?
It doesn't intuitively make sense.
But if you understand that your state of mind and how you're thinking and feeling is affected by the chemistry going through your brain,
You can say,
Oh,
I get it now.
My pancreas,
My spleen are creating a certain amount of insulin that's either too much or too little.
It's typically overloading the circuits and so the system starts shutting down.
So when we breathe down into our abdomen,
What we're doing is we can find,
Well where's the energy stuck?
So everyone breathe into your abdomen right now and just feel if there's any stuck energy.
And if you think about it,
That's going to be partly mental and it's going to be partly just pure emotion,
Isn't it?
And that's because those two chakras are engaged,
Not to mention some energy might be down in your root chakra too.
Sometimes that kind of pent up excitement might actually make you very horny.
A lot of people love to make love after a fight.
Or part of their fighting is some of their sexual tension.
And matter of fact,
Sometimes children,
Not that it's sexual,
But they're acting up because they need attention because there's a need.
So we have to realize that a lot of our behavior is the result of some energy in our body not being met.
We're not balanced as it were in our chakras.
So that's why just kind of tuning into your body and saying,
Well where am I at?
It's so helpful and you can say,
Okay,
I'm feeling some emotion.
Okay,
What do you do?
Let's all breathe into our belly.
And as we do,
We push our belly button out,
We open up,
And we just kind of feel around in there and say,
Well is there anything in there that is feeling stuck?
And you might have a memory.
Yeah,
I got upset about talking to someone in my family or my spouse or at work today.
And so you just feel it and absorb it.
And now as you breathe out,
You let it go like you're farting.
Just poof.
Just because it's gassy,
It's stinky.
But you've got to let it out.
You don't want to hold it inside you.
And then breathe in again.
Okay,
Now I'm clearing out.
It's not as stinky.
But maybe there's still a little bit more,
So you let go again as you breathe out.
And you just kind of go in this litany of breathing in and out through your stomach,
Right?
So we can do it again.
We can do it right now.
And just say,
Okay,
Any negativity in me?
And isn't it funny how even though you can say,
Well I don't think there's any negativity,
Probably somewhere down in there there was.
Kind of like if you're traveling,
There's going to be a few bugs that are going to hit your windshield.
And maybe you really didn't notice.
But if you stop and look at the windshield and you say,
Well as long as I'm here at the gas station,
I think I'll go get the squeegee and squeegee off the bug splat.
You got used to a few little splats.
Well today's the day we're going to kind of rinse off the windshield of our mind and clear off the bug splat,
Whatever that is that has kind of made it hard for you to see or enjoy the day.
So breathe in down there and say,
Well what is that?
Is there a fear?
Is there an anger?
Is there not good enough?
Is there pride?
I'm too good.
What is it?
Just breathe out and let it go.
So this is how we can work with energy down here.
And the AH mantra.
AH is releasing.
We did this over the retreat.
If you listen to the basic principles of OM,
AH starts down here lower.
It pulls up from the lower chakras and it moves it up to the heart chakra where there's the O and the throat is the O and the crown is the M.
So AH,
O,
M or OM,
Whether it's OM or OM is a way of moving energy up the spine.
So that's why the yogis say,
Well you know there's certain energy frequencies in your chakras.
But you see we're already in advanced practice so we don't spend a lot of time doing chakra balancing and opening your heart chakra and imagining a rose in your heart and that kind of thing.
That's fun to do.
You want to do it fine but that's kind of like something that's fun to do with kids.
You know a real yogi would look at that and just kind of smile and pat you on the top of your head and say that's nice.
You keep chanting your mantra.
Anyway so we were talking about the Manipuram and we see now,
Okay these are different gradients of energy,
Different chords.
What's next?
It's the heart center.
That's a good one.
So from this yellow we would go up into green.
Yellow would be in the navel center from some red to orange to yellow and then the heart center is often green.
But then when we think of healing people like to use pink.
And again these are metaphorical.
I wouldn't get too hung up with the color.
And if it helps you to put a stone there that's great.
But I mean don't put too much attention on these things.
People make things out more than they are and I don't think that's not truly honest.
So I'm kind of a stickler for prove it to me and let me know that I don't want to believe something just because I read it in a book because most of what people say about stuff isn't true.
It's amazing what we believe sometimes when we don't know.
So up here in the heart center,
Everyone breathe into your heart and I invite you to bring your hands up this time and let's heart out.
Just open your heart a little bit more and feel the love coming in.
So we actually use this quite a bit don't we?
We like the metaphor again but you understand,
I'm explaining to you,
There is a physical energy though isn't there?
You're connecting,
You're transferring energy,
It's moving into your heart center.
You will feel a light growing in your heart as you put your hands up and as you are more open to receive,
The more you will receive.
So there really is a heart chakra,
There really is a feeling of love.
It corresponds with your thymus gland and that's right under the sternum here and it looks a little bit kind of like a butterfly.
It kind of flanges out on two sides.
So there is a terminal on the left and right side and the energy flows from left to right,
Goes around and around like a wheel once again.
So just breathe into your heart center and feel it opening and expanding and sometimes that can feel blocked off.
You just broke up with someone and it feels like there is a hole in my heart.
Well breathe into your heart and fill it.
Don't fill it with your attachments to the old relationship.
Fill it with the love for God that is right here already blowing.
Why blow God away because someone else didn't do what you wanted?
That's silly.
All the love you could ever imagine is right here.
I tell you,
If you just let this open up you will never want anything else again.
It won't matter to you.
So just breathe in and feel love and then bring your hands back down.
So this is the heart center,
The anaheim.
And you kind of really know this already but it's through the thymus gland and it's representing love.
And you know that because as you breathe in you are drawing from the electromagnetic fields around the earth.
It's coming in and it's collecting where?
It's collecting in your lungs and what's nestled right in the middle of your lungs?
It's your heart.
And then what does your heart do?
It takes all that oxygen pulled in through the lungs,
Absorbed and the current from it so it becomes the terminal which centralizes the energy of spirit into a flow within your core circuit which creates the sense of you,
Your Atman.
So people say,
Well this is the center of your soul.
So your soul is here.
Your heart center is where the center of your being is because it's the centralization of the spirit energy that you're connecting with.
It's like the terminal through this center so to speak.
So now these are all the transistors and transformers,
The way the energy is being conducted.
It goes up and the next point up we can go to is the viscishuda which is the throat center.
This corresponds with the thyroid and parathyroid and it too is kind of like a butterfly.
They're joined together but they flange out into two sides on your throat,
The base of the throat right above your collarbone.
You might just tap there if you want to feel it.
This is more of a turquoise or aquamarine sometimes.
And just like oh and ooh these sounds if you go oh you'll feel your heart center kind of vibrating.
Everyone take a deep breath and just go oh.
As a matter of fact put your fingers of your left hand over your heart.
Just touch your fingertips around your heart and go oh and see if you don't feel that.
And then there's also the ooh and that's the next chakra,
The base of the throat.
So if you take your fingers and put it at your throat chakra and just go ooh that opens up.
Well what does your thyroid have to do?
It's the regulation and so the thyroid is a mood stabilizer.
It has to do with your feeling of elation.
It helps with the production of serotonin,
Dopamine,
Your sense of love and peace and joy.
Your throat center is what?
It's your digestion.
It's what you're taking in and it's what you're putting out.
It's what is coming through you and how it's expressing through you is how it's looked at.
And so it's this terminal spinning around and around in your throat center.
It too has a vibration and when you just breathe into there and so you can breathe into there and virtually you're speaking like when you speak a sacred language such as Hebrew or Arabic or Sanskrit,
Those oscillations are designed actually to move through your throat center,
All your chakras but specifically the throat center to create a certain effect.
So when you're going ooh something is literally vibrating and it kind of opens up.
Sometimes it's good by the way just to tap your thyroid with your fingertips because as you get older the thyroid can start breaking down.
Particularly we abuse our thyroid by putting so much junk in our body all the time.
So just giving it a little loving tap can be a good thing to help keep it strong.
As the energy comes up now from the throat center it moves up through the neck.
So just imagine like the stock of the lotus flower that's rooted in the muck of the pond,
That's your root center going out through your legs that brings you into the earth connecting with the energy of the earth.
Now this energy is rising up through your legs and up through your spine,
Up through all the way up and now we're coming up to the surface.
So in the metaphor of yoga,
The way it's depicted,
We see this Kundalini Shakti that there's a thousand petaled lotus floating on the pond that represents the awakening of our consciousness.
So in the center of this petal is the cave of Brahma it's called and this lies on top.
So your nerves are all bundled.
Think of a rope with lots of little threads say inside the rope and those threads would be your nerves in the case of your spinal column and all these nerves are bundled together like a rope kind of twisted and tight together and then as they move up into your skull they fan out like the ends of a frayed rope or like your shoelaces you know when that tip comes up you see that the ends kind of flare out like an oak tree or something and your nerves begin to flare out and the area that it's flaring out and going around is called the hypothalamus.
It's the size of maybe a walnut and it is the relay station for all the nervous system activity so it's considered the cave of Brahma meaning the sense of yourself resides where all your interactions for your nervous system is.
That's what gives you a sense of you and you're looking at life through a binocular perception because you have a left and right hemisphere in your brain that have two different focalizations of brain processing that together give you a greater perception than if you just had one one's more analytical one's more expansive and conscious you might say one's more creative one's more linear but the two together create a greater sense awareness together.
So as this energy moves up and out it's divided in the two hemispheres by what's called the corpus callosum that sits right on top of the hypothalamus so think of wings on top of your walnut or maybe a bumblebee because when we hum and do the mmm and ohm the M sound you hear the bumblebee you feel the bee in your head and the top of your head will buzz won't it?
So mmm and you're chanting ohm that's how you end ah ohm so it goes from ah to oh to ooh to mmm it's changing vibration as it moves up the spine to the top of the head so when you're mmm that's coming right out of your top if you just put your hand above your head as you're ohming you feel it buzzing there and then above that another say 9 to 12 inches up there is your another chakra this is why we go to 30th is to move up there and so just be aware and I always say well imagine you're up here where your disk is your halo well it's actually kind of a chakra and why would that be a part of you?
Well it's simply where your energy is that's a part of you that's actually who you are the fact that your mass isn't up there doesn't really matter your anchor is your body you actually extend much farther up you cone heads so this is the endocrine system this is your Kundalini this is how the chakras work so the seventh chakra the sixth chakra is the middle plane where the hypothalamus is and if you extend out towards your face from that point in the middle of your head you will right in front of that hypothalamus is what's known as the pineal gland and just farther in front of it is I mean the pituitary gland and in front of that is the pineal gland so the pineal gland is closest to the skin where you touch the third eye when you come around and give touch or if I touch you my energy is then activating your pituitary gland the electromagnetism is activating that gland sending a signal along with the pituitary because remember we have two terminals we have to have a left and right side well in the case of this plane instead of it being left and right it's more fore and aft the pituitary and the pineal and they send the current up up into the thousand petaled lotus so these ends of the fraid rope continue to move up into the brain itself the neocortex is called what we think of as the brain the gushy pinkish gray thing and it's all squishy it's like a sponge if you've ever I got to play with a cadaver once and squish the brain and you can feel it's like a sponge filled with water and what's happening is you're looking at your third eye that energy is not going just going up it's going all the way up to the top of your head and that is known as the crown so as different neurons started connecting developing your sense of awareness first from what's known as the reptilian so in very small creatures they have a very basic brain that basically responds to sense perception then developed around that what's known as a limbic system in a human being this is our associative response so we know how we interact with others so mammals and other animals that interact closely with others of their kind have a more developed limbic system and around that became cognitive processes we see in apes and penipeds and which are seals and different kinds of dolphins and whales and then as humans have evolved we continue to grow our brain grow it up and up and not just outward but upward so as we move up to the top of our brain what we call the crown the area would be where a crown would sit on your head from that area upward is all the neocortex what are called the frontal and temporal lobes of that neocortex and so even as you're thinking of that now you'll feel the top of your head begin to spin so let's end today with a little dicta bring your right hand up on the crown chakra and the two sides of the brain are the two hemispheres so remember we were saying there's a left and right and energy goes round and round well the left hemisphere is the one side and the right hemisphere is the other side so the energy is going round and round in your brain where the top of your head at your crown chakra your thousand petal lotus are the thousands of actions and dendrites that are extending upward and outwards at the top of the head awakening your consciousness and enabling you to become fully aware and this is the enlightenment of your consciousness so just bring your right hand up and catch some more love just know that you're protected and guided by the divine and all your activities day and night and all places and now bring that hand slowly palm facing downward begin to bring it so it's just a few inches above the top of your head and just waver your hand up and down like we do the beach ball you know squeeze the beach ball between your hands feel the energy between the palm of your right hand and the top of your head you should feel cushion there because your head's going off now and if you would just move your hand in a clockwise motion so now move it to the left move it to your four move it to your right move it to the back move it to the left move it to the four move it to the right and so make little circles like this round and round and just know you're protected and guided by the divine and all your activities day and night and all places so you see the energy starts moving around and around here now drop your hand on your head you're protected and guided by the divine and all your activities day and night and all places good now bring your hand down and so now this is the diksha so transference of the energy into your crown helps awaken this energy and draw it up to the top of the head so this is the whole principle is to open up your circuit the whole idea is to let more energy flow and let all your inner senses and inner knowing and inner awareness light up human beings aren't only using maybe 10 percent of their potential so what you're learning right here is actually awakening that potential you're actually developing this sixth sense this is the enlightenment of the consciousness may you all enjoy good health long life prosperity happiness and peace and thank you we're starting the Self-Realization Course as you know next Saturday if you're committed to that if you're going to be on all the calls you let me know don't just pop in and out on those calls I don't want anybody on those calls that isn't committing to all 12 of them okay thank you.

Amazing detailed explanation of the chakra connectivity
