The High Priestess The High Priestess represents the power of intuitiveness and spiritual connection.
She can see and understand things that the logical mind alone cannot sense.
She sits between two pillars,
One black,
One white,
And she has a connection to each.
She is the power of the unconscious mind,
Though connected to the conscious mind.
She helps to make all things unconscious,
Conscious.
Her gifts are a vital asset to your spiritual journey.
Without her the journey would be much more difficult,
Perhaps even impossible.
Her energy is here to advise you,
To adhere to your chosen spiritual practice on a regular basis.
She is here to tell you to take time for stillness and meditation,
In order to listen to the gentle whispers within you,
Guiding you on your highest path.
She tells you to avoid distractions,
Since the path ahead demands your full attention.
She is here to tell you to surrender to spirit,
Rather than listening to the dictates of your own ego mind.
The energy of the High Priestess comes to strengthen your connection to your higher self,
To the great mystery of life,
To your unseen friends in spirit.
Her energy helps you trust your instincts to move forward on the path that's best for you.
You can listen to others,
For sure,
But ultimately you must trust your own inner guidance,
Your internal GPS,
Otherwise you can be led astray.
She urges you to listen to your intuitive voice,
And learn to tell the difference between the various ego voices of fear and caution,
And the gentle nudges of your intuition.
For if you succeed in this,
Then you will surely find your way,
Your true way.
She advises you to listen to your body and feelings,
And trust your intuition.
Her presence and energy helps you embrace your emotions,
So they calm.
When this happens,
Your emotional body becomes still and reflective,
Like the smooth calm waters at dawn of a lake,
Allowing the gentle ripples of your feelings to guide you forward.
So breathing and opening,
Closing your eyes,
Going within,
Reconnecting with your journey.
You have met the magician.
You find yourself in a boat,
Crossing a vast ocean,
Above you a blue sunny sky.
The wind is in your face,
You feel the spray of the ocean as the boat moves forward with a certain speed.
Your companion,
The magician,
Is guiding the boat,
Though not physically.
He is seated and focusing on moving the boat forward.
Somehow the boat responds to the magician's thoughts.
You sit there in the boat as it journeys forward,
Wondering where the journey will take you.
Remembering the recent telepathic conversation,
Where the magician asked you,
Where are you going?
What do you dream of experiencing in this one precious life?
As you sit in contemplation on your deepest dreams,
For these are the guiding force for this journey.
Some of your dreams are known to the conscious mind,
And some are deep within you,
Waiting to catch your attention.
The boat speeds on,
And in the distance you sense land ahead,
Perhaps a sense of excitement ripples through your body.
As you look ahead something else catches your attention.
A beautiful dolphin is swimming alongside the boat,
Playfully leaping through the air.
This dolphin contains a certain magic,
A certain glow,
A certain light.
You sense a powerful presence in this being.
As you sit and watch the dolphin,
A telepathic connection begins,
As the priestess in the form of a dolphin begins to communicate with you.
She says,
As you open your mind.
The gift of intuition has been granted to you.
Your intuition is the voice of your unconscious mind,
That seeks to guide you,
Your conscious mind.
I come in the form of a dolphin,
Because a dolphin has a strong sonic guidance system.
Like a dolphin you have the ability to sound out and sense for certain truth in any situation.
You have developed the gift of intuitive guidance over many lifetimes.
You yourself have served as shaman or priestess or magician or seer.
The more you use your intuition,
The stronger it becomes in your life.
Seek places of quiet and stillness,
So that you can often tune into this still voice.
Guard your deepest feelings,
Your intuitive impulses,
Take notice of them.
They seek to guide you in every single moment.
Your intuition can speak to you through your gut,
It can also speak through your third eye and higher senses.
You can sense and also see the truth.
Develop this,
It will be important for your journey.
But know this,
Fear will be an ever present companion on the journey.
The faint hearted will heed its call and turn back.
