So start with the settling breaths to allow yourself to feel your seat.
Feel the support of the building you're in and Mother Earth beneath offering us nourishment and support in this moment.
And looking from our hearts perspective,
Imagine we are journeying and when our vision comes into focus,
We see that we're deep at sea,
Far from any land.
There's no land in sight in any direction,
Only ocean.
And we're arriving here at sunset.
The orange fireball of sun is making its way over the horizon.
The sky is awash in color like an artist's brush strokes of orange and red,
Blue and black,
Even pink and purple.
It's just beautifully colored and proportioned exactly right.
And we look at the ocean and see the same colors reflected in the water,
The vastness of sky and water.
And as we draw closer to the water,
We notice that rather just being one expansive ocean,
It's an ocean with unlimited waves slowly rolling across the surface.
And as we draw closer still,
We begin to see that each of these waves is quite unique.
Each wave has their own height and width.
Some places it's even and others it's jagged.
It's very unique in presentation.
As we draw closer still,
We recognize that one of these waves is me.
So our awareness slowly enters into our wave,
Feeling its dimensions,
Its volume of water,
Its connection to the ocean at large.
Let your awareness rest in your wave,
Landing as fully as possible,
Being right here as a wave.
In your waveness,
You may feel the fluidity of water.
Maybe there's a temperature to it or the way light hits it.
It might be very interesting to observe.
Let your awareness drift down the sides of your wave to the base of the wave,
Where wave meets ocean.
Feel the similarity of water,
Whether it's wave or ocean,
The water is the same,
Just different forms.
Rest into this,
To the feeling,
To the perception of water.
Just feel it as a liquid,
As a substance that can adapt and take any shape that's needed.
You can stay resting in your wave as wave,
Or if you're curious,
If you're intrigued about the ocean.
Let your awareness drift from your wave,
Where it meets the ocean,
Down deep into the ocean itself.
The water feels the same,
But there's an expansiveness in the ocean,
A vastness,
A vastness with no end.
We try to feel the edge of the ocean,
We just feel more ocean.
There's no end to it.
There's no boundary or border to this ocean.
It's completely unlimited.
Feel how it impacts you to know the ocean is without any limit or boundary,
Just vast expanse.
Let yourself just feel the vastness in every direction.
The smoothness,
The lightness of the water.
You notice that the location of perception,
When you look,
There's nothing in your location but water.
So water,
Observing water.
Any sense of definition of you falls away.
There's no border of you or boundary.
There's no marker in this water of you other than your awareness abiding in the water.
They focused on your awareness,
Meaning your contact with this ocean and the fact you're contacting this ocean as ocean.
The ocean is observing itself.
Somehow there's perception and knowing but without any history or memory or even a sense of self.
There's just observation,
Awareness,
Perception.
You're going to sit silently here in the ocean as ocean and just be for about 15 minutes.
Before we sit in silence,
If anything arises,
A memory,
A thought,
An emotion,
Remember I am not and remember I am.
I am ocean.
Ocean is ocean.
Awareness is awareness.
Blessings be.
