So we're going to do another guided meditation now.
And this one we're going to be orienting towards the unmanifest,
The peace and stillness and silence aspect.
So we're going to start with the I am not practice again.
And again,
Just repeat after me.
I am not my appearance.
I am not my body.
I am not my thoughts.
I am not my life history.
I am not my behavior.
I am not my emotions.
I am not my memories.
I am not anything.
And start by staying with that not anything.
Let that open up in your awareness.
Let it expand.
Not anything.
You might experience it as an inner spaciousness.
Those with visual ability,
Inner sight may see this as a vast blackness,
An inky,
Velvety smooth blackness.
The richest,
Darkest blackness you've ever witnessed.
And if you're a felt sense meditator,
Just feel what it would be like to be in this vast spaciousness without any light.
Just vast,
Vast,
Vast blackness.
Blackness we may first encounter silence.
The silence between my words.
The silence under my words.
Let that quality of silence expand.
Let yourself relax into the silence.
Feel the silence as support and a holding for awareness.
Let your awareness move a little deeper into the unmanifest absolute,
Into the blackness,
The unbounded,
Boundaryless blackness in every direction without limit.
Feel the stillness that's here.
A pristine,
Settled,
Quiet contact with stillness helps to quiet and still our thoughts and mental activity.
Feel a kind of here-ness in the stillness.
Stillness is immediate and very present.
Let your inner activity enter into stillness.
Let your sense of identity touch stillness,
Which will let it quiet,
Be less active.
Some people notice the stillness by a kind of ringing in the ears,
The sound that stillness can make.
As the stillness is quieting your inner activity,
Notice the quality of peace.
The peace has a smoothness to it.
It's uncomplicated.
Everything it touches becomes peaceful.
Should peace touch any activity we have,
It becomes still and peaceful.
Let yourself be touched by this deep,
Deep peace.
Sometimes when we contact peace,
We can feel like part of our sense of a body,
Sense of a solidity begins to fall away,
As though part of our body begins to disappear.
If that's happening,
That's happening,
That's fine.
If that's not happening,
That's fine too.
Let peace touch anywhere in your consciousness it wishes,
Bringing peace in the contact.
Relax into peace.
Let go into peace.
Surrender to peace.
Let yourself,
Your awareness be enveloped in peace and stillness.
The pristineness of right here.
Let the peace and stillness envelop your awareness,
Your awareness relaxing and putting down everything.
Let yourself feel the soothing quality of peace,
Smoothing and relaxing activity,
Thoughts,
And identity.
We can sometimes feel a don't know quality here.
We don't know exactly who we are or where we are.
If that's your experience,
Just stay with don't know.
Let yourself be drawn into the deep,
Rich blackness of peace,
Of stillness,
Of absence,
Of nothingness.
Words that arise here are am not,
Am not,
Am not.
If you have interactivity,
Try to orient to where there is no interactivity,
The silence,
The stillness,
To peace.
Let yourself be enveloped by peace.
There is no doing.
There is just letting go,
Releasing everything.
Let peace envelop you like a warm blanket.
Relax any doing.
Just be.
In these last minutes before I ring the bell,
Really let yourself open and surrender to peace and stillness.
