Taking a few minutes to allow the body settling down,
Connecting with your posture and with the floor carrying you.
Noticing the breath coming and going.
Dancing with a breath.
No need to concentrate or putting pressure upon yourself.
Dancing with a breath,
Resting with a breath in a kind and playful way.
No need to try to stop or control the thoughts.
There's enough space,
There's enough openness for all your experiences.
And we can start right there with a breath.
I'm breathing,
I'm alive.
And maybe you remember a time when it was difficult for you to breathe.
Or you know people who struggle with asthma.
And then the relief,
The freedom of being able to breathe.
I'm breathing,
I'm alive.
Something we take for granted.
And maybe now in this moment it is possible for you to open to the wonder of breath,
Which is the wonder of life.
Not understanding for what it is for.
Just being alive is sometimes enough.
Just feeling life,
Feeling breath is sometimes enough.
We can extend that to the other senses which are available to us in this moment.
You can hear,
You can hear my voice,
You can hear the sounds around you.
Now you take it for granted.
But you will lose it.
I'm hearing,
I'm alive.
Seeing.
You can open your eyes.
You can see,
You see the light patterns moving in front of your eyes when you have your eyes closed.
You can see colors.
And you can see people.
Smelling and tasting.
Imagine how it would be to eat without smelling and tasting.
To enjoy food.
To enjoy the smells and nature.
To taste a kiss.
Movement,
You are able to move.
You are able to move your legs or your arms.
Probably you are able to walk.
Such a joy in movement.
Can you acknowledge that there is some sense of joy in movement?
Even if the body feels somewhat stiff.
Touch.
Being able to feel things with your hands.
Being able to touch.
Being able to be touched.
Being able to hold someone.
To shake hands,
To give a hug.
Feelings.
Feelings,
Dynamic energy.
Moving,
Living.
Some of them challenging,
Some of them painful.
Some of them full of the light.
But all of them live.
You can feel you are alive.
Thinking,
The wand of thinking.
Imagination,
Reasoning.
Sometimes destructive,
Compulsive.
But nevertheless,
Thinking.
Then we can extend that appreciation to our resources.
We all have to eat.
We all have a place to stay.
You know where you are going to sleep tonight.
And you have some kind of income.
Even if you are without a job.
Our life,
Your life is more than a daily fight for survival.
How fortunate.
Relationships.
Feel the beauty of your relationships.
You have now,
And you have had them throughout your life.
Friends and family.
But also strangers.
Your social being.
How fortunate.
Then the access you have to teachings of growth,
Teachings of evolution,
Teachings of healing.
The Buddhist tradition and other lineages enriching your life.
Helping you to grow,
Helping you to understand things.
To connect with the resources and wholeness in you.
There are poetical and psychological teachings,
Books,
Workshops.
How rich,
How fortunate to be in a time like that,
Where East and West come together.
Just that can bring a sense of joy into your life in difficult times as well.
How fortunate.
And not only that,
Something in you is open to that.
Something in you is longing,
Wants to move forward to avoid soulness.
Something in you wants to play with these methods.
Something in you is called home.
That is very,
Very precious.
Just being here.
Just being yourself.
Acknowledging what you have.
Breathing.
Being alive.
Being a human being.
A social being.
A stream of consciousness on this journey to wholeness.
Never ending and never alone.
Uphold the faith.
Boundaries.
