While he travels to431,

He receives a speech about the Saturday In this first step of the breathing space,

Opening to our experience as it is in this moment.

Beginning by taking our awareness to the points of contact between the body and the surfaces supporting us.

Allowing a sense of connection and groundedness to support our practice.

Noticing what sensations are present in the body.

Noticing feelings or emotions.

Noticing the thoughts coming and going in the mind.

Noticing to what is here for us right now,

Bringing a kind attention that allows things to be just as they are.

And then in the second step,

Bringing your awareness now to the breath.

Following the flow of air as it enters and leaves your body.

Riding on the waves of the breath.

Perhaps paying attention to the breath sensations down in the belly.

If this supports us,

To allow a soothing breathing rhythm to emerge.

Following a sense of the body filling with the in-breath.

Releasing with the out-breath.

Having this continuous exchange between inside and outside.

And then in step three,

Expanding the awareness to the breathing body as a whole.

As if it can take in and give out through all its pores in an ongoing exchange.

Having a sense of the space inside and the space outside.

Under tuning to whatever suffering is here right now,

Whether your own or others.

Having your imagination to come up with whatever attributes this suffering may have.

And then exploring,

Taking the suffering in with each in-breath,

Allowing it to transform into a healing quality.

You then breathe out.

Breathing in this energy of suffering.

Allowing it to transform.

Blending out the energy of healing.

Continuing for as long as you wish.

And resuming your daily activities when you feel ready to do so.

Much love in this young man right here in action.
