Rewriting your internal programs by connecting, seeing, holding and feeling your struggle and emotional pain to experience wholeness and your authentic self. The more you practice by observing, you will rewrite yourself. There is so much is happening within. The mind is so quick and reacts instantaneously. Finding stillness, clarity and stability in the mind is how to dive deep within. By slowing down you can observe, notice triggers, reactions and judgments, owning them as your teachers.

Hello.

Good day.

Welcome to our daily meditation.

Today,

I would like to speak a moment before we meditate about the mind and sometimes how we take for granted,

How quick it is.

And we take for granted,

Even though it seems like these programs within us are so embedded and that we are conditioned and that our minds are conditioned,

It's to remind you that you have this capacity to rewrite your life.

And so often,

And myself included,

I just assumed that the way that I was was who I was going to be.

And I had certain behaviors and addictive patterns and ways of being,

For instance,

Thinking that things were my fault when they weren't and specifically in a family,

If one of my family members would be not so happy or suffering,

I would consider that it was my fault,

That it was my responsibility,

That I had done some things.

And another way to say it is taking everything personally.

It's really exhausting.

And once I realized that that mechanism within my mind to immediately think that it was my fault or that I had done something wrong goes way back and it goes back to when I was a child.

And as we are all children,

We simply want to be attuned to and listened to and cared for and as willing as our parents may have been,

Unless they were attuned themselves and totally present and had worked through their own trauma,

Which really wasn't a thing of the time,

To speak about these things,

Then they weren't capable to be present in that way so that we wouldn't then think that it was our,

Because children immediately think that it's their fault if something is going wrong,

Because it's much easier that than thinking that the parents had done something wrong.

It's a really in-depth conversation.

But what I'm saying is our beliefs about ourselves,

The ways that we have adapted as human beings have put us into this mindset that's very limited.

And we have so much more awareness and capacity to live in our hearts and in our bodies,

But we first have to understand this mechanism of the mind and how to release ourselves from these very distracting narratives.

So the systems that are unraveling now were put in place because at one point we thought,

We were led to believe that they would be good for us.

So now there is chaos and we are understanding that the systems are outdated and don't reflect the wellbeing of all.

So in a way things are crumbling,

But in another way,

This is your opportunity to look within yourself and find those mechanisms that aren't serving you.

And it's a real challenge to separate from what you have learned to who you truly are inside.

And your biggest power that you have is simply by observing yourself and reinstating a dialogue within yourself.

Simply when you go through the day,

Noticing when you get triggered and understanding that that's your stuff,

It has nothing to do with what's going on in the present moment.

It's awakening within you a fear and a lack of connection,

As hard as that sounds sometimes,

Because of course we want to blame others.

So as we sit today and look within ourselves and listen,

I invite you to notice and just begin a dialogue with who you truly are.

And if you don't know just by your intention,

You will see that in subtle ways throughout your day,

Things will show you the answers that you need to continue this path.

Please close your eyes if you haven't already.

Feeling the weight of your body on the floor or the cushion or the chair.

And feel what it feels like to be connected to the ground beneath you.

Feeling the pressure of your body as it touches the surface beneath you or the bottom of your feet.

And allow gravity to weight you down just a little bit more.

Taking a moment to acknowledge the ground beneath each of us that reunites us with one another.

It gives us shelter and food,

Water,

Fire,

Air.

Just thanking it,

Say thank you for supporting me and my families.

Set your intention.

You can say what comes first to your heart or simply say for my highest good,

I sit now to connect to my heart,

To my truth,

And to my authenticity.

And state your intention within yourself three times so it resonates and let your body respond.

Just feeling sensations quivering.

And if there's a resistance,

Just stay with it.

And use your intention as the foundation for your meditation.

So if you find yourself going into your mind,

Just remember that you're here to connect for your highest good and then bring yourself back to your breath.

And let's breathe together three deep breaths inhaling through your nose.

Taking in some more air,

Lengthen your spine.

And exhale out your mouth with sound,

Really letting go.

Follow all the air out.

Exhale all the air out,

Squeezing the air out of your abdomen.

Hold the air out.

Let your body ground and root.

And then breathe and again a nice deep breath.

This time widen your shoulders.

Taking in some more air.

Hold and exhale with sound.

Exhale all the air out.

Really releasing the air,

Emptying out your throat,

Your belly.

Empty all the air out.

Pause at the bottom of your exhale.

Notice the stillness in your body.

And then when you're ready,

Breathe in again.

A nice deep breath.

Breathe in some more.

Suspend your breath.

And exhale,

Releasing,

Letting go,

Letting go,

Letting go of stories of thoughts coming into your body.

Exhale all the air out.

Exhale some more air.

Hold the air out.

Feel your bottom of the body connected to the ground beneath you.

And then when you're ready,

Inhaling and exhaling out your nose.

Turning your gaze inwards,

Opening up your inner ear and listening within.

Scanning and sensing your body.

Noticing any areas of struggle right now where you're struggling in your life.

Anywhere you've been judging yourself.

Been hard on yourself or others.

Really noticing any emotions like anger,

Fear,

Sadness or grief that have arisen in these past couple days.

And bowing your head and honoring your emotions for keeping you protected because that's what they want to do.

At the origin,

They want to keep us protected.

So thank them.

Let them know that now you're taking your power back.

Noticing any behaviors recently where you might have been overly dramatic or been exaggerating.

Just notice,

I did that.

And instead of feeling like a victim or blaming others,

Owning these moments.

And using your breath as your guide,

Stay aligned to your breathing,

Taking a deep breath in for five counts.

Suspend your breath for five.

Exhale slowly out your nose to the count of five.

Exhale and hold out to the count of five.

Inhaling again,

Counting to five.

Hold.

Exhale out for five.

Hold the air out for five.

Breathing in again,

Now naturally at your own rhythm.

Just noticing and allowing for your body to find its own stillness.

Opening up your senses and listening to any sounds in your space.

Feeling the touch of the air on your skin.

The sensation of your clothes against your body.

And if your mind wanders with kindness and gentleness,

Bring your attention back to your breath,

Back to your body.

And bring your attention to the center of your heart.

Put a hand upon your own heart.

And either a hand on your belly or another hand on your heart.

Whatever feels right to you right now.

And feel your own breath as you breathe.

And on your inhale,

Noticing how your belly expands,

Your chest expands.

And how when you exhale,

There's a gentle folding in,

A releasing and a letting go of tension and stress.

Giving yourself permission to touch into that divine resonance underneath the stories,

Underneath your personality.

And as you hold yourself,

Really feel what it feels like to turn towards yourself with kindness.

That maybe in your life you're struggling or frustrated with certain things right now.

But you have this wonderful capacity to turn in comfort and re-parent all of the parts of you that might be suffering.

So give yourself this moment of pause in the stillness to acknowledge the areas of pain,

Struggle,

And meet yourself where you are with compassion.

And let's take three deep purging breaths.

Inhale through your nose.

And a long deep exhale out your mouth,

Releasing.

Feeling that energetic release down into the ground.

Letting go of old baggage,

Old stories,

Old behaviors.

Feeling these layers releasing,

Sliding off you.

And then taking a deep breath in,

Filling up your heart.

Washing over your heart.

And exhale.

Exhale with sound.

Letting go,

Releasing.

Letting go,

Letting go.

Feeling it pouring out of you.

And then breathe in again.

And exhale.

Feeling that release.

Letting go of anything that no longer serves you.

And saying to yourself,

Today I rewrite my life to align with who I am authentically.

To walk my path.

Not the path of others.

Not what you think you should do.

Not what looks good.

But who you really,

Really are.

This abundance of truth.

This abundance of joy.

This abundance of compassion and wisdom that lies within each and every one of us.

So let your body fill up with this radiance.

Feeling a shower coming from above your head into the top of your head and your crown.

Like the sun,

Feel the glow.

Letting it dissolve any areas of tightness,

Tension.

And breathing in and out.

Letting yourself soften and receive.

Taking a breath in.

Noticing any areas of tightness where you need healing.

And as you exhale,

Soften and receive.

By slowing down,

You can observe the way you are.

The way you behave.

And when you slow down enough,

You notice that you have a choice in every single moment of how you are responding.

And instead of reacting or behaving like a victim,

Remember that you can make a different choice this time.

This is what it means by taking your power back and embodying who you really are.

Really feeling a deep sense of gratitude for the practice,

For each of us meditating together.

Bring everyone into your awareness that we are all here doing this work showing up for our well-being.

But really for the well-being of all.

Because little by little and with ripple effect,

We can shift.

So thank you.

And breathing a deep breath in together.

And a long deep exhale.

Remembering to stay grounded today in the present moment as you step into your days.

Because if you're not grounded,

It means you're in your head.

And if you're in your head,

It means you're just living in the stories and the worry and the doubt and the blah blah blah.

It's just this repetitive broken record.

So in order to clean the grooves and to transform your life into who you really are,

These practices are to show you that you do that.

It's from you within.

It's not something from without that's going to shift your life.

It's all about your perspective.

So bye.

Love you.

Thank you for your practice and I'll see you.

And this is my daughter.

We have the whole family here meditating.

I encourage you to sit with your kids and your partners.

Bye.

See you tomorrow.

Dear Stephanie, thank you 🙏🏼 much! I very much resonated to your phrasing, like “Your biggest power is observing yourself, where are you get triggered. Set your intention for your highest good, who you’re in authenticity...!” Also I really enjoyed your double exhales and inhales. :-). Lastly, The encouragement to “reparent yourself” is new to me and quite valuable. So Namaste. I will return to this again and again!
