Let's begin.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable way to be in the body.
Where the body feels wholly and completely supported.
Where you can allow the body to rest.
Perhaps we meet the body in this moment with a sense of gratitude for everything it's done for you today.
For everywhere it's taken you.
For all the ways it has enabled you to engage with the world.
Becoming the observer in this moment and extending gratitude to our form.
Knowing that we are not the body in this moment.
But that the body is a miracle that we get to inhabit.
Thank you body.
We can let our body soften even deeper by reminding the body how safe it is in this moment.
Let's take a moment to notice any mental activity,
Any thoughts that might be coming up in this moment.
And we are not the thoughts.
Can we meet our mind with gratitude for all of the work it does for us?
All the solving and planning and preparing.
And then stepping back into the place of the observer.
We can liberate ourselves from our ideas of self.
Simplifying that question,
Who am I?
There's no need to find an answer.
Simply ask the question.
And we bring our awareness to the breath,
Our tether to this moment.
Our invitation to be present with what is here.
Let's take five mindful breaths into the body.
Noticing the sensations as you breathe.
And I invite you to become aware of the balance point in your own body.
Is there a place in your body that is free of judgment and clinging?
A place that is free from identifying with the body,
The mind,
Our stories?
Is there a place in your body where it feels easy to fill with love?
Can we breathe into that place?
Can we let that loving energy fill the body?
Can we let ourselves feel just for this moment what it is to be connected to spirit?
Just for this moment,
Can we allow ourselves to be open?
To let love shine through and down upon us?
This loving energy,
This connection to spirit is our birthright.
This is how we are meant to live.
What would it feel like to you to know that you are meant to move through the world?
Looking through the eyes of God?
Viewing the world with compassion?
Reveling in tiny details?
Feeling gratitude for things that once were unpleasant?
How do we find this place where we live in a connected sense of oneness?
What would we need to let go of?
To allow spirit in?
I turn toward the light.
I allow myself to be open.
I continue to let go to make space for love.
My intention is to live untethered.
Let's take a deep breath into the body.
Letting that breath out with a sigh.
And then slowly easing your way back into the room.
Blessings.
Namaste.
