This practice is recorded in a yoga nidra meditation style. It is a rapid imagery to help you to relax the gray portion of the brain, and detach from your thoughts. We will do a body scan to turn your attention to your physical sensations, what will allow you to a even deeper relaxation.

Welcome to the practice of yoga nidra.

Find a comfortable place to lie down.

Relax your body completely.

Begin to notice the places where your body is contacting and check your position to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible.

Make any adjustments necessary so that you will not be distracted during the practice.

So again feel your body sinking into your relaxed position.

Take a few deep breaths and on the exhale say to yourself mentally relax,

Relax.

Repeat to yourself,

I am aware that I will now practice yoga nidra.

Begin to feel the places where your body is contacting the floor or the surface.

Beginning at your heels,

Begin to feel the contact points between your heels and the floor or the surface.

And now the calf muscles and where they touch,

Upper legs and their contact points,

The hips,

Any points in the back that touch down,

Shoulders,

Arms,

And the backs of the hands and the head.

Begin to feel the points,

All of them,

Simultaneously,

All the contact points.

And imagine you could exhale through all the points at once,

Feeling yourself sinking deeper into your relaxed position.

Breathing awareness now in through each of these points and again sinking into them.

As you breathe,

Feel yourself relaxing on a physical level.

Muscles,

Joints,

Relaxing.

And on your next exhale feel yourself relaxing on an emotional level.

And finally on a mental level,

Feel yourself letting go of any thoughts.

Just becoming aware of what is in this now moment.

So with your eyes closed,

Begin to recall the image of the room in which you are relaxed.

Visualize the room.

In as much detail as you can,

Recall,

Recreate the picture of this room in your mind's eye in as much detail as possible.

Picture walls,

Ceiling,

Floor,

And your own body relaxed on the floor or the surface in this room.

Imagine you can see yourself completely relaxed,

Still,

Just the body being moved by the breath.

Imagine you could walk around yourself as if from the outside looking down upon your body and observe the roundness of your form from all angles.

Top of the head looking down from the side,

Bottom of the feet looking upward at the body and also from the other side.

And an aerial view looking down on the body.

Bringing awareness now back inside the body,

Take awareness into your sense of hearing and begin to become aware of the sounds that are both around you and in the distance.

Without naming the sounds,

Just become aware of them.

One and then another and another.

As if you are the microphone of a tape recorder,

Just taking in the sounds.

Move between near and distant sounds.

And then begin to move your attention to the most distant sound you can hear.

Really extend your hearing maximum.

Going even beyond the audible sounds.

Slowly bring attention back to closer sounds.

Near,

Nearer to the body.

And now become aware of sounds that your own body is making.

The breath,

The heartbeat,

Even the sound of blood moving through arteries and veins.

And even more subtle sounds.

Firing of synapses in the brain and communication of cells.

Even to the very sound of you.

And it is at this point we begin with the sankalpa.

Repeating to yourself mentally three times.

I am connected to the supreme source of abundance.

I easily receive all I need and desire in alignment with my highest truth.

I am connected to the supreme source of abundance.

Feel that sinking in as we begin a rotation of body consciousness.

As I say the name of a body part,

Bring awareness to that part.

Allowing it to relax gently.

Beginning with the right hand thumb.

Take awareness to the right hand thumb.

To the first finger of the right hand.

Second finger,

Third finger,

Fourth finger.

Four fingers and thumb of right hand together.

Palm of the hand,

Back of the hand,

Wrist,

Forearm,

Elbow,

Upper arm,

Shoulder,

Armpit,

Right side of the chest,

Waist,

Hip,

Thigh,

Kneecap,

Calf muscle,

Shin,

Ankle,

Heel,

Sole of right foot,

Top of right foot,

Right big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

Fifth toe.

All five toes of the right foot together.

Become aware of the whole right foot,

The whole right leg,

The whole right arm,

The whole right side of the body.

And awareness of the left hand thumb.

First finger of left hand,

Second finger,

Third finger,

Fourth finger.

Four fingers and thumb of left hand together.

Palm of the hand,

Back of the hand,

Wrist,

Forearm,

Elbow,

Upper arm,

Shoulder,

Armpit,

Left side of the chest,

Calf muscle,

Shin,

Ankle,

Heel,

Sole of left foot,

Top of left foot,

Become aware of whole left foot,

Whole left leg,

Whole left arm,

The whole left side of the body.

And awareness to the back side of the body,

Up the backs of the legs,

The tailbone,

The buttocks,

Right side and left,

The lower back,

The middle back,

Right shoulder blade,

Left shoulder blade,

Upper back,

The just the spine,

The whole back,

Just the spine,

The back of the neck,

Back of the head,

Top of the head.

Awareness of the forehead,

Right eyebrow,

Left eyebrow,

The eyebrow center,

Right eye,

Left eye,

Both eyes,

The nose,

The bridge of the nose,

Tip of the nose,

Right nostril,

Left nostril,

Right cheek,

Left cheek,

Right ear,

Left ear.

Becoming aware of the mouth,

Upper lip,

Lower lip,

Space between the lips,

Teeth,

Tongue,

Upper palate,

Lower palate,

Chin,

Jawbone,

The whole face,

The throat,

Right collarbone,

Left collarbone,

The sternum,

The rib cage,

Upper abdomen,

Navel,

Lower abdomen,

Pelvis,

Groin,

The whole torso,

The top half of the body.

Become aware of the lower half of the body,

The right side of the body only,

Just the right side,

Left side only,

The whole body together,

The whole body,

The whole body.

Bring awareness now to the breath.

As we come into breath awareness become aware of the inhale and the exhale breath in its entirety.

Notice your inhale all the way to the top of your breath and the exhale to the base of the breath when you are void of air.

Begin to repeat to yourself as you breathe I know that I am breathing in,

I know that I am breathing out.

And follow your breath in this way.

Notice the belly moving with the breath.

And begin now to repeat mentally inhale navel rising,

Exhale navel falling.

Continuing to repeat on each breath.

Notice the breath now in the nostrils of the nose.

And as you breathe in notice cool air moves into the nostrils and as you exhale notice the breath is now warm in the nostrils of the nose.

So for a moment follow the cool and the warm stream of air in and out of the nose.

And then begin now to count your breath backwards from 44 toward 1 like this.

44 I am breathing in,

44 I am breathing out,

43 I'm breathing in,

43 I am breathing out.

Continuing to count backwards with each breath.

Counting the breath backwards.

Practicing breath awareness in yoga nidra.

44 to 0.

You lose your count to begin again at 44.

And now ceasing counting moving into opposite feelings.

Bring in and conjure in the feeling of lack.

Feel in all of your being that you don't have what you need.

Feel constriction,

Feel not having enough.

Bring in a memory or memories of times when you did not have what you needed.

You didn't have the money for a bill,

You didn't have gas for your car or enough food in the kitchen.

And if you've not had these experiences yourself tap into them in the whole of humanity.

Those who have lack,

Who experience poverty.

And let yourself be immersed in that sensation of lack,

Constriction,

Not having.

Feel the dryness of that experience.

The parched sensation of lack.

Feel the longing associated,

The pit in the belly of not having.

The fear,

The worry accompanying lack.

The scrunching of the forehead.

The sadness.

The gasping for air even,

The little bit of breath.

And now as if something's being lifted off of you,

Feel the breath deepening,

Opening as you experience now abundance.

As you experience the having plenty,

More than enough.

An overabundance of so much,

Like the sands on the beaches,

Like the water in the ocean abundant.

Feel so much.

Feel all the flowers in a giant flowering meadow.

The buzzing of the bees in a hive,

Flocks of geese,

All the cells in your body.

Feel the forehead softening,

The edges of your mouth turning up as you expand the chest with a deep breath of a full bank account,

A full refrigerator,

All the clothes you could need,

A full gas tank,

Plenty of cash in the wallet.

Feel the relief,

The possibilities.

Feel the freedom of abundance.

Feel the assistance.

And now begin to feel a small slit that you are trapped between.

Feel just a skinny place between two walls,

Between two rocks.

Feel yourself just slipped in between these two places,

Feeling very tight,

Feeling held very close,

Not much room,

A small space.

Feel yourself holding your breath just a bit,

A little bit of ache at the pressure of both the walls on either side.

And the next breath,

Feel those release,

Expand,

Open up,

The walls move,

There's no walls,

It's limitless,

It's boundless,

It's an open field,

It's a wide space.

Feel yourself stretching out wide and not even coming close to knowing where the sides are reaching,

Reaching,

Reaching,

Having plenty of room and spinning,

Even twirling in the open space.

And feel that open space mixing with,

Twirling with,

Becoming and knowing abundance with it.

Feel yourself expanding into the open space.

As we move into visualizations,

Picture clearly in your mind's eye the following images.

A full moon,

A full moon rising,

Waves on the ocean,

Waves on the ocean,

A dollar bill,

A dollar bill,

Ripples on a puddle,

Ripples on a puddle,

Flowers in a garden,

Flowers in a garden,

Starry night,

Starry night,

A glacier,

Glacier,

Boat on still water,

Boat on still water,

Rain on the windowsill,

Rain on the windowsill,

Children laughing,

Children laughing,

A field of wild flowers,

A field of wild flowers,

Half moon over the sea,

Half moon over the sea,

Flower petals on the ground,

A stone circle,

A starry night,

Torrential rain,

Snow capped mountains,

Rays of sunlight,

Wind on my face,

Tree without leaves,

Baby crying,

A cat sleeping,

A cross above a church,

Coffin beside a grave,

Clouds in the sky,

A people holding hands in a circle,

A temple in the forest,

Tall trees,

A lock,

A key with a lock,

Pink clouds,

Blue stars,

Red rose,

Buddha smiling,

A path into the forest,

Snowflakes falling,

A forest full of trees,

Child's eyes,

Sun rays,

Raindrops sinking in the mud,

Fingers touching,

Wind in the treetops,

Stone circle,

Grassy field,

Mossy hill,

Buddha smiling,

Coffin,

Crying,

New baby,

Dog barking,

Rustling of leaves,

Sound of prayer,

Sound of laughter,

The still,

The still quiet.

Imagine yourself in the still quiet under a blankety starry night.

You are so small feeling with this starry starry sky that seems just above your head.

The stars are the most you have ever ever seen spread out like jewels,

Diamonds all across the sky just above your head and you feel yourself dropping to your knees in awe at the sheer number of these shimmery stars.

Whatever you were doing before seems to have been forgotten from your mind as you behold such a sight of stars.

You feel like you're on top of the world,

Literally on top of the world,

Closest to the sky and in this moment you can think of nothing more but gratitude,

Humility,

Blessedness as you recognize how truly blessed you are in your life,

For your life,

For your very breath.

You almost feel yourself stopped for air.

You are so grateful to realize with your real eyes the grandeur of the universe of which you are a part.

Take a moment to contemplate the greatness,

The vastness,

The hugeness of this universe of which you are a part,

Of which you are an important part,

A critical piece without which all of this would not be.

There is nothing in the all that could be taken away.

All is part of the all.

Fill yourself as part of the fluid force of the all.

Perfect wholeness you experience.

And in that perfect wholeness you realize there is more than enough,

Plenty and abundance overflowing for all.

There is no way to even keep it from ourselves except only in the perception of.

And in this moment as you breathe in you realize that you have on some level been putting some sort of psychic block up against the remembrance of this universal abundance that is yours.

And now you can see it clearly in your mind and even in this space around you,

The walls you have constructed out of fear of receiving,

Out of fear of your remembering this greatness,

Out of uncertainty and a sort of self-consciousness about really being this much,

This big,

This wonderful and beautiful and whole.

And so in this moment you realize how silly all of that really was.

That it is your divine worth right,

Your natural state in fact to know this greatness of yourself,

This connectivity to all that is.

So in this moment you take down those walls,

Deconstruct those barriers,

Fill yourself doing this,

Dissolving those imaginary borders between you and all that is coming to you,

All that is you,

All that flows through you and to you and from you and back to you and perfect balance and force and equilibrium and it's actually so abundant that your life is expansive and creative beyond your wildest dreams suddenly.

And suddenly in your mind's eye and even looking down at yourself you start to realize that you are becoming the very thing which you've always dreamed in your heart.

The hopes and dreams,

The aspirations are starting to show themselves as you remove these barriers to who you really are.

See yourself remove them and the starlight seems to fall down on you and glitter and light you up and illuminate the attire,

The sparkle in your eyes,

The connections between people that you are bound to meet and ideas you are bound to have and creations you are bound to make and the income that was of course yours and already in your wallet and bank account now because there is no way to not have needs met when you are an eternal being.

Feel the flow,

Feel the flow,

The fluid ease,

The ability to travel at will with those you love alone on pleasure journeys on adventures.

Feel the ability to have all the food that you would like in the form you would like easily,

Effortlessly,

Joyfully,

The attire,

The opportunities manifested,

Those in your life resonating with you,

Feel all these things freely given you as you unlock all these doors,

These barriers,

These walls that have been keeping you from your truth,

Your abundant truth and as you find yourself unlocking what seems to be the final one,

The final curtain,

The most solid and formally near iron like wall between you and all that is yours.

Feel the weight of that dropping down almost crashing at your feet as a symphonic harmony,

A dancing,

Blissful,

Adventurous,

Beautiful garden like stream of abundance that actually has its own ability to orchestrate itself around you and through you so as to not overwhelm you realizing that you already know exactly perfectly what to do with this.

There is no question whether you will abuse it,

It is already in control,

It is already in harmony and balance for you are harmony and balance itself as a child of the universe.

In this great relief you accept,

You remember,

You smile and you repeat to yourself in the space I am connected to the supreme source of abundance.

I easily receive all I need and desire in alignment with my highest truth.

As your resolve again repeats,

I am connected to the supreme source of abundance.

I easily receive all I need and desire in alignment with my highest truth.

I am connected to the supreme source of abundance.

I easily receive all I need and desire in alignment with my highest truth.

As you hear these words vibrating the frequency of your being,

You begin to feel again the body and especially the hearing at this time,

The sense of hearing and you become aware of the sounds that are around you in the universe,

In the near area to your physical vehicle and to the inner realm and you begin to hear near and distant sounds back and forth like choirs of angels singing from within and from without in disguise of all these things supposedly creating these sounds.

You hear the sounds,

You acknowledge the sounds,

You notice the sounds and as you notice the sounds your capacity for consciousness begins to become aware of a room and the room in which the physical vessel that you have chosen to embody in is relaxed in,

Is having an experience of relaxation within and you can mentally now picture the room and your body in the room,

The walls of the room,

The ceiling and floor of the room and your body within this room and you begin also now to become more acutely aware of this physical vehicle,

This most blessed vessel for manifesting and living this abundance and you feel the contact points where the head,

Your head,

Contacts the relaxed surface,

Your hands contact,

Your arms,

Your back,

The contact points and the hips,

The legs and finally the feet as you bring this fully conscious awareness of abundance into your physical body you feel the integration as your body says yes as you remember yes into this form and begin slowly to wiggle fingers and toes to bring consciousness into awake state.

Concluding this practice of Yoganidra,

Remembering fully the truth of who you are in abundance.

Take a moment to fill yourself in this state and move your body slowly as you're ready taking a few deep breaths moving forward with this new gift.
