Hello and welcome.
Welcome to your practice.
In today's practice,
We're going to connect.
Breath with the body.
Couple of simple.
Mindful movements.
You'll need enough space so you can move your arms overhead and to a side.
And that's all.
So I'm inviting you to find the comfortable position.
You can practice this seated.
Or lying down on the floor.
And bring yourself for comfort.
Comfort.
In any shape or form.
With cushions,
Pillows,
Blankets.
If you're going to be seated,
Maybe sit against the wall or a bed frame.
Whatever comfort you need.
Bring it to yourself.
And once you're in a comfortable position.
We will start.
I'm inviting you to orient yourself around the space you're in.
Gently moving your head from left to right.
Looking to left and right.
Orienting yourself because our mind likes to scan.
Likes comfort and safety.
Through this gentle movement.
Inviting a mind to settle.
Settle into a space,
Into a space you're in.
And then to your body.
And then perhaps you move your head up.
And down.
Looking over your head.
Looking down to your chest and maybe you repeat from left to right and up and down.
And then you bring your head to center.
And find something you can gaze at.
If you're keeping your eyes open.
Find something.
Something ideally that is not moving,
You can soften your gaze at.
And if you're comfortable with closing your eyes.
You gently close your eyes and internal gaze.
And then I invite you to find the breath in your body.
Find it anywhere in your body.
And observe,
Bring your mind to observe how your body is breathing.
Maybe your belly is breathing.
Maybe your chest is rising.
Maybe you feel your breath in your neck,
In your throat.
Maybe even in your face.
Simply observing.
Noticing.
Without an urge to fix or change anything.
Observing how you are,
Where you are in this moment in time.
And my next invitation is to bring awareness.
Two fingers on both of your hands.
If you can,
Moving fingers.
All of them.
Feeling them.
Feeling more into your hands now.
Into your wrists.
Gentle movements with your wrists.
And then maybe even gently bending your elbows.
And once you start bending the elbows you can even lift them maybe.
Lift them up.
You don't have to go all the way.
Just noticing your arms floating in the space.
And noticing your shoulders.
You start moving your elbows you start noticing your shoulders too left and right.
And then soften and release them down.
And then invitation.
Invitation is to gently lift your arm.
Is further.
As further up as possible towards your head.
And then slowly bring your arm down.
And you shift awareness to your left arm.
Lift it up.
And gently bring it down.
And repeat again,
Gently moving your right arm.
And releasing.
And left arm.
And release.
And then you find your breath.
And when you're about to inhale next time,
You start moving your right arm with your inhalation.
And when you exhale,
You release your arm down.
Next inhalation,
You switch to your left arm,
Lift it gently up.
Exhale,
Release.
And repeat.
Inhale,
Right arm up Softly exhale,
Bring your arm down.
Left arm up.
You inhale.
Exhale,
Left arm down.
And one more time.
Inhale,
Right arm up Exhale down.
And inhale,
Left arm.
Exhale,
Release.
And keeping your arms in stillness.
And for the next three rounds,
Bring your mind to focus on your breath only.
Softly breathing in.
And softly breathing out.
Two more.
Breathing in,
And from your breath,
Awareness to arms again.
To both of them this time.
Start gently lifting them up.
And then you inhale.
And when you exhale,
You bring both arms down.
And repeat,
Gently inhale,
Lifting both arms up.
Exhale bringing them slowly down and three more.
Breathing in,
Lifting arms.
Breathing out,
Popping them down.
Twice more.
Breath in.
And breath out.
One more.
Resting your arms.
And three breaths in stillness.
Breathing in softly.
Breathing out softly.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
And awareness from your breath.
Your body again.
Your head to your neck.
And gently start moving your head.
And your neck from side to side.
Then gently up and down.
And this time if your eyes were closed gently open them and start looking around the room,
Around the space you're in and in your head.
From left to right.
Up and down.
And then the conscious breath into your system Letting it go.
And one more.
Letting it go Noticing how are you feeling right now.
Sensations,
Just an observation.
And to close your practice today.
I'm inviting you to pop hands anywhere on your body,
Anywhere that feels comfortable.
To acknowledge yourself.
Or practicing.
Or attending to your own needs.
Acknowledging yourself.
And from there,
Please invite.
And send acknowledgement and gratitude to others.
Who joined you today in the practice.
Practitioners around the world.
And there's always the finish.
I'm acknowledging you.
For placing your trust in me.
To take you to practice today.
Please take good care.
And I'm looking forward.
To practicing with you.
In the next track.
See you then.
