Sometimes we focus so much on our problems or desires that we forget to appreciate what we already have. This meditation helps bring you back to gratitude for the beauty in your everyday life. Do not listen while driving or operating heavy machinery. For entertainment purposes only. Tips for a great experience: Sit or lie down somewhere comfortable. Silence or turn off your phone. Use the restroom beforehand. An eye mask and headphones can help. If distracted, repeat the words you hear. Consistency matters—listen daily for best results. Enjoy the process—deep relaxation has many benefits.

Welcome to my channel.

This meditation was created to bring more gratitude into your daily life.

This video should not be viewed or listened to while driving or operating heavy machinery,

As it may cause extreme relaxation or drowsiness.

Now find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down,

And close your eyes.

Take a moment to connect with your breath,

Hearing the air as you inhale and exhale,

Noticing your body slowing,

Relaxing to the rhythm of your breath,

Just breathing normally,

Inhaling and exhaling,

Inhale and exhale.

Now as you connect with your heart space,

You want to focus your attention and stay present within this meditation.

If you notice that your thoughts are straying,

Just begin to repeat what I am saying in your mind to bring you back to this moment.

We will start by relaxing our bodies,

One body part at a time.

As I mention each part,

Focus all of your attention on relaxing and releasing any tension there.

Let's begin with the crown of your head.

Take your time to visualize your head and notice that any tension is starting to dissipate.

Roll that wave of relaxation down your face,

Relaxing your brow,

Your eyes,

Loosening your jaw.

Just sit with this relaxing sensation for another moment.

Now bring it down into your neck.

Take a couple of breaths here as the neck is often a place where many hold the most tension.

Feeling the muscles loosen with each exhale.

Now send that relaxation down into your shoulders,

Breathing,

Relaxing,

Down your arms and fingers.

As we move into your back and abdomen,

Begin to feel a warming sensation,

Almost as though you are receiving a comforting hug.

And let it all relax.

Send that relaxation down into your hips and pelvis,

Down your glutes,

Relaxing your thighs,

Calves,

And finally your ankles,

Feet,

And toes.

Good.

Enjoy this pure,

Blissful relaxation for a moment.

Now in your mind,

Picture your home space,

The place where you live.

Begin moving through your space and notice all the things that you are grateful for there.

Maybe it's your comfortable bed,

Clean water,

A hot shower,

The clothes in your closet,

The food in your pantry.

Perhaps your favorite items,

Books,

Crafts,

Art,

Music.

Take a moment to show gratitude for all the beautiful things you have at your home and for the warmth and protection your home gives you every day.

Good.

Now move to where you spend most of your time during the day,

Whether it's at work,

At home with children,

Volunteering,

Or anything else that may occupy the majority of your day.

Visualize what your day to day looks like and begin to feel the gratitude for the things you get to do each day.

Think about the people who fill you up daily,

Who help you out when the days are hard,

Who make you laugh,

Who allow you to cry.

Who bring you hope,

Joy,

And just send them gratitude with all of your heart.

Thank them for being the person they are and for being there when you need them.

Finally,

Begin to show gratitude for yourself,

For your body that functions day to day,

For the beating of your heart and the air in your lungs,

For your mind that helps you every second of every day with creative ideas and positive thoughts,

For your spirit that is constantly evolving,

That expresses love to others and love to yourself.

Say it every day.

Thank you.

I appreciate you.

I am grateful for you.

Thank you.

Say it every single day.

Thank you.

It's time to come back now.

Slowly take three deep breaths,

Filling your belly and lungs,

And exhaling.

Good.

Before opening your eyes,

Really feel the gratitude radiate throughout your entire body,

Throughout your heart space and your spirit.

Beautiful.

Slowly open your eyes and with a grateful heart,

Move forward with the rest of your day.

Namaste.
