Inner Winter Guided Meditation brought to you by Spirit Woman and led by Liana Pereja.
Take a moment to settle in and allow yourself to get still.
Whether you are outside in nature or indoors,
Begin to connect with your breath and tune in to each inhale and exhale.
You are now in a very sacred and important phase within your cyclicality,
Your menstrual phase.
All that you have been experiencing and feeling over the course of this past cycle is now shedding and resetting.
A new cycle has begun,
Allow this to be a time that you spend appreciating the release of your blood.
Your blood is sacred,
This time is sacred.
Listen to the quiet voice that has been calling you inward and connect with the sacredness of your inner winter.
Remember that these few moments in time that you take with yourself each day are what will keep you grounded and in tune with the source of your being.
Inhale.
.
.
Notice the expansion of your lungs and upper body.
Exhale.
.
.
Notice any releases and sensations of relaxation passing through your body.
Your breath,
This circular force that connects the internal with the external,
Is proof that you are alive.
And as you continue to be present with each inhale and exhale,
Gently notice what it feels like to be fully aware of your breath,
To be one with yourself.
This quiet stillness allows you to reconnect with your true essence as all the outer distractions of the world begin to fade into the distance.
Begin to notice any thoughts and emotions that may be present.
Connect with the sensations in your body without labeling or judging them,
And see if you can bring awareness to the sensations in your body that are connected with your current emotion.
Does any area in your body feel tense?
If so,
Breathe with intention into that space of your body.
Notice your forehead.
.
.
Your jaw.
.
.
Your chest.
.
.
Your upper back.
.
.
Lower back.
.
.
Your stomach.
.
.
Your womb.
.
.
And send kindness to any areas that may still feel tense in your body.
Now bring your awareness to the places where your body touches and connects to the earth beneath you.
Whether you are sitting or lying down,
Begin to thank that energy for showing up for you.
And then,
Gently,
Give it back to the universe.
Envision it sinking into the ground beneath you,
Being absorbed back into the depths of the planet.
Welcome the power and life-giving energy of Mother Earth,
And notice how she is there to support and hold you.
For the following practice,
Notice if anything shows up for you.
If something leads you into feeling uncomfortable or fidgety,
Rather than shying away from the discomfort,
See if you can be with it,
Witness it,
And allow yourself to rest into it.
Invite the energy of all the women and mothers who have come before you to guide you as you embark on this new cycle.
Welcome compassion and affirm to yourself that you see and love yourself for all that you are.
Place your hands on your womb,
Or the space around your womb,
And thank her for her guidance that has been with you leading you to this exact moment in your life.
Through her natural cycle of releasing and cleansing each month,
She in essence has taught you how to fully embody the magnificent being that you are,
To let go of what no longer serves you,
And to become a vessel of wisdom and light.
The doorway to human life on Earth,
Your womb,
The giver and nurturer of life through which you entered into this world.
Inhale and on your next exhale,
Send love and healing down into this part of your body.
Notice your heartbeat,
Feel its pulse from your heart and around your chest,
Through your veins,
Down into the arms and into your hands,
Down the legs and into your feet,
And begin to affirm to yourself,
I am quiet and listen to my heart's song.
I am a miracle,
A living,
Breathing miracle.
I surrender to the release my body is physically experiencing,
And I consciously release any lingering thoughts or emotions that no longer serve me.
I forgive the past.
I open myself to know my inner guidance and deepest wisdom as I align my consciousness with the source of all life.
When I take space for myself,
I deepen my connection and capacity for complete transformation.
My inner winter is the perfect and most impactful time in my cyclicality for me to live in the light of my higher mind.
In this quiet space,
I allow it to illuminate my life as I seek wisdom and guidance from myself.
I honor my blood,
For it is sacred,
And am thankful for the awareness and insight I have into the profound mystery of life.
