5 minute guided silent meditation. Learn how to meditate in silence by taking short silent breaks. Intervals of silence followed by intervals of guidance. And learn how to breathe through the silence. Super easy beginner meditation practice to try at home. Take a break from your computer and just listen. Or use it during times of emotional stress and confrontation. Once you get into the flow of breathing the silence speeds up. And you become more present. Practice this whenever you feel panic attacks or anxiety come up. First, start by practicing with me and learn the counting. Then when you are in an emotionally stressful situation or you are triggered, you can use this breathing practice to calm down and stay silent. I hope you like it. It's my life saver, and I use it every day.

Five minute silent meditation.

Just coming into your space for the next five minutes we will practice silent meditation.

You can practice this meditation sitting down or lying down,

Sitting in a comfortable pose or lying down on your back.

Coming into your space we will begin to practice our meditation.

As you relax your whole body,

You come here into this moment and focus on my breath,

Shifting your focus from my voice to your breath.

Inhaling and exhaling.

Deep long breaths can help you to focus for longer.

Allow your mind to come to the space,

Allow your body to relax and as we practice these silent moments together I invite you to count your breaths.

Count your breaths as you inhale and exhale.

Like this.

Inhale one,

Two,

Three.

Exhale one,

Two,

Three.

Inhale one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Exhale one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

The longer your breath the easier it is to concentrate,

To meditate,

To focus.

So I invite you now during this silent meditation to count your breaths in and out.

If your mind is wandering you can use this breathing exercise.

There will always be distractions.

Remember to pause,

Slow down and count your breaths.

We are nearing the end of our five minute meditation.

For 30 more seconds you can bring your focus back here,

Back to the room,

Back to your body.

Gently awakening your soul,

Coming back to your space.

Take a deep breath in,

And out.

Well done,

You've just completed a five minute meditation.
