Slowing your breath.

Inhaling through the nose.

Exhaling through the nose.

Slowing the breath now.

We're going to breathe in for 5 counts.

And out for 5 counts.

As you inhale,

Expand through the belly.

And as you exhale,

Let the belly fall.

We're going to be breathing low into the belly and slow.

Inhale 2,

4,

5.

And exhale 2,

Continuing to breathe low and slow.

As you exhale,

Fall into the bed below you.

Relax,

Surrender,

And melt.

Feel your body falling heavier with each breath.

Sinking into a deeper state of relaxation.

Slowing down the body with your breath.

Slowing down your mind by staying present with your breath.

Visualize the expansion of your belly and your lungs on the inhale.

Like a flower opening and blooming.

And then contracting and the flower closing up on the exhale.

Visualizing the flower blooming again on the inhale.

You can picture whatever kind of flower,

Whatever color you like.

Feeling your head fall heavier on the pillow.

Feeling the gravity holding you from below.

You are fully safe.

It is time to drift back to sleep.

With ease and peace.

There is nothing you need to do right now.

Keep breathing nice and softly and slowly.

If your mind starts to wander or get on the hamster wheel of thoughts.

Just visualize taking the hamster off the wheel.

And bring that flower back into your mind's eye.

The flower of breath.

Blooming on the inhale.

And going to sleep and contracting on the exhale.

You are in the exact place you are supposed to be.

There is nowhere else to be.

Nothing else to do.

It is time for your body to recover,

Restore,

Repair.

Relax and drift off to sleep.

Pretend that you feel a warm blanket of sunshine.

Hitting your face and down your body.

This warm feeling from the sunshine.

Covering your skin like a comforting blanket.

Feel this warmth penetrating your skin.

With nourishing,

Calming,

Relaxing energy.

You are one with the natural elements.

You are the sunshine.

Let it soak in.

Everything comes and goes as a cycle.

Just like your rest and sleeping time.

It is time to rest and drift back to sleep.

It is time to let go of the thoughts of the day.

With each breath.

Relaxing further.

Surrendering further into this peaceful state.

Surrender into your sleep.

You are safe and protected.

Surrender into your sleep.

It is time to drift back to sleep.
