Hi,

This is Susan from Soul Academy and welcome to my backyard meditation.

This is about a two to three minute meditation that you could do pretty much anytime,

Anywhere.

So let's begin.

Let's get started by sitting up nice and tall,

Feet flat on the floor.

You could also sit cross-legged.

And we're going to begin to close our eyes,

Lightly pressing the eyelids together,

Turning our attention to our breath,

Breathing in,

Feeling the coolness of the breath,

Feeling out,

Breathing out,

Feeling the warmth.

So we are going to work with each of our senses.

And since we are in my backyard,

You are going to hear a variety of sounds.

So let's start with our sense of hearing.

Breathing in,

Feeling the coolness.

And notice what you hear.

And notice what you hear.

Observe each sound.

Breathing out,

Letting it go.

Breathing in,

Feeling the coolness of the breath moving past the nose.

And notice what you smell,

What scents are in the air.

Breathing out,

Letting it go.

Breathing in,

And being aware of any sensations against your skin.

What do you notice?

You notice the warmth of the sun,

The coolness of the breeze.

Breathing out,

Letting it go.

And breathing in,

And noticing any sense of taste in your mouth.

Maybe you had a meal or a snack.

Maybe you've been chewing gum or had a drink.

Observe and breathing out to let it go.

We'll take another couple of breaths,

Letting the breath return to normal,

Following your natural rhythm.

And when you're ready,

Gently opening your eyes.

Gently opening your eyes.

Thank you for joining me.

Till next time,

Namaste.
