Welcome.

This is a five minute heart grounding meditation.

So as you begin to settle into your practice,

Take a few moments to reflect on when do I feel most balanced in my life?

When do I feel most balanced in my life?

And who am I compassionate toward?

Who am I compassionate toward?

Which daily activities support my ability to be balanced and compassionate?

Which daily activities support my ability to be balanced and compassionate?

I'm taking a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in and out,

Allowing the body to release,

Feeling the support underneath you.

Breathing in the color red and breathing out the color green.

Breathing in red,

Stabilizing and balancing.

Breathing out green,

Sending out love and compassion.

Breathing in red,

Breathing out green,

Releasing any tension held in the body,

The neck,

Shoulders,

Abdomen,

Back.

Today is just for you,

And you don't want to carry with you anything that doesn't support your balanced awareness.

If it feels natural,

Place one hand over your heart and one hand on your low abdomen or thigh.

Breathe gently,

Noticing the feelings of calm,

Centered stillness.

Feel into your body how this grounds and stabilizes you,

Allowing yesterday to slip away.

Allow your attention to rest on breathing in,

Stabilizing red,

Breathing out,

Compassionate green.

Feel a sense of calm,

Centered,

Inner stillness.

You are here supporting yourself,

And as you release yesterday,

And this very moment,

Allow your present awareness to rest in tranquility.

Deep inner stillness is a gift,

Welcoming balance and compassion into your body,

Mind,

And soul.

Use this technique any time you need to restore balance and nurture yourself.

Taking a deep breath or two,

As you gently begin to transition into waking awareness.

Stretching,

Yawning,

Wiggling fingers and toes.

Until next time,

Namaste.
