So,
Following my voice,
I'm leading with your breath to the place of your body that I named.
So,
Breathing in through your nose,
And flooding your awareness up to the crown of your head.
Exhaling,
Finding that breath,
That rhythm that suits you today.
Breathing your awareness over your third eye,
Finding that space to soften and relax.
Down over your jaw,
Perhaps letting your back teeth separate,
Your lips might slightly part open.
Breathing gentle loving awareness over your throat,
Over your heart center,
And down both of your arms to the fingertips.
Breathing in and out,
As you drift your awareness over your belly,
Your womb space.
Down both of your legs over your knees,
Down to the soles of your feet and your toes.
Settling and softening,
Letting go of any tension or if you feel any part of your body tightening,
Just breathing in to loosen and soften that space where possible.
Now letting go,
Even more feeling,
Becoming whole body breathing,
Whole body breathing.
Inviting you,
Take your attention inwards to your inner landscape,
Perhaps through wherever feels like the center point of you today.
Exploring the sensations in your body,
Breathing in and out.
So often we're pulled by the people in our lives who want us to fit their mold.
So often we're pushed by the scripts we've been handed,
Expected to do what we're told.
But way deep down in the center of your heart,
You know what is right and wrong.
So breathe in deeply and find the courage to act on the truth that will carry you along.
So today there is an invitation here and now to find the sensation of distrust in your body.
And if you feel like you have the capacity to do so,
Inviting you to zoom into the body.
Where does distrust,
Mistrust,
Where does it live?
What does it feel like?
The sensations of not trusting.
And if you can,
And if you feel the capacity to,
Turning up the volume on this sensation of distrust.
Perhaps it's in your belly,
In your shoulders.
Seeing if it has a color or a texture.
What are the qualities of the sensations in your body when you feel distrust?
Is there a memory around this emotion?
Can you surrender to the feeling a little more without being overwhelmed,
Not fully meeting this emotion?
There is this tendency that we want to suppress or escape emotion.
So I really welcome and hold this space for you to know what it feels like to not trust.
To not trust yourself,
To not trust your life.
What comes up for you here?
And when it feels like it's reaching its peak,
The climactic type sensation of this distrust.
Let it become darker and darker and darker until it completely dissolves.
Maybe there's something that you choose to release here.
The barriers to trusting yourself.
Letting everything you've cultivated in your body dissolve,
Choosing to dissolve it into the darkness.
Breathing in and out.
Letting out an exhale and when that process feels complete.
Now we're going to turn up the volume on what it feels like to trust.
Passing into where in the body trust lives.
Maybe it's multiple places.
Breathing into it and illuminating this sensation.
Does trust have a color or a texture in your body now?
What are the qualities of the sensations in your body when you trust?
When you fully trust in yourself?
When you fully trust in yourself,
In your life?
This might be more challenging,
More uncomfortable than the feeling of distrust.
Just noticing that too.
And there is no right or wrong here.
Just however you are,
Breathing in and out is enough.
The color or the texture of trust,
The feeling or sensation of trust,
I invite you to take it around your whole body now.
Turning up the volume of the sensation even more.
Full trust.
And once your whole body feels illuminated,
Whether that is subtle or quiet.
Notice what is present.
And if you'd like to repeat in your mind's eye,
I trust myself.
I trust the body I am in.
I trust myself.
I trust the body I am in.
It is safe for you to rest into trust.
Rest into trust.
The whole body illuminated with trust.
Is there any memories or visions that you associate with this feeling?
A time where you have trusted yourself.
The jaw is soft and loose and your shoulders are relaxed.
The whole body resting into trust.
Held by Mother Earth.
Held by the Moon.
In nature we trust.
Why?
Down into your womb space,
Exhaling it all out.
Now beginning to let the illumination in.
Beginning to let the illumination go.
And if you'd like to see the colour or the texture,
The sensation dissolve,
You can.
Or perhaps you would like to find a place in your body to keep it.
Where can you keep this trust that you've cultivated?
Choosing.
Noticing how your body feels.
It could be something,
It could be nothing.
Both are welcome.
Inviting your awareness back into the room that you are in.
Feeling the temperature of the air on your skin.
Perhaps you would like to place a hand on your womb,
A hand on your heart.
Just bringing some touch to your body where it feels divine for you.
Enjoying the bliss of this moment.
The presence of this moment.
How slow,
How soft you feel right now.
Let that be nectar.
For the rest of your day and days.
Dip back into this pot of nectar whenever you need to.
And how you have rested into trust.
Thanking your body,
Yourself for this practice.
Bringing slight movement to your fingertips and your toes.
What does it look like or feel like to you to reawaken your body now?
Is it a stretch over your head or?
Roll to the side.
Hugging your knees into your chest or gently making your way to one side if you've been lying down.
Ever so slowly,
Over the next minute or so.
Over the next minute or so,
The invitation is to come back up to a seated position.
But just taking your time.
Fluttering open your eyes when you would like to.
And if that feels too much,
Just bringing the palms of your hands together and placing them over the eyelids.
And fluttering your eyes open behind your palms.
