Courage is a behavior that can flourish by finding alignment with all of your senses. During this affirmation meditation I invite you to reflect on the words that dance into your ears and open up to any emotions that may come up during this exercise. I added a small twist to develop your presence and I encourage discussion in the comments. Courage resides within you, for you.

Welcome.

My name is Melanie Kiss and I'm a professional certified NLP coach.

And today I will be your guide and companion during this meditation.

Today's affirmations are focused on courage.

And so I invite you to sit in a comfortable position.

Whether sitting down or lying down.

And take the time to visualize your go-to spot of relaxation.

And I'll let you take the time to really visualize what that spot looks like.

It's not the same for everyone.

Some people may be simply comfortable sitting on their couch.

Others,

Maybe they're sitting by the beach.

Or maybe you're walking through a forest.

But whatever that place of relaxation is,

I invite you to heighten your senses.

And put some emphasis on what you see,

Such as color,

Textures.

Maybe there's movement,

Maybe it's stillness.

Maybe you hear something.

What are those sounds?

You may even smell something.

And so take a moment as you breathe in and breathe out.

And visualize that spot of relaxation.

And during these affirmations,

You'll hear words floating around.

And as you observe those words and take them in,

You may have sensations or emotions that will arise.

I invite you to welcome them.

Or maybe some emotions from your subconscious may not feel comfortable with certain affirmations.

I invite you to maybe put them aside if that's what your soul needs at the moment.

At the end of the affirmations,

I encourage you to write in your journal.

And I encourage you to do this for your own personal growth.

For your own way to release whatever has arised.

Let's begin.

I have the courage to be exactly who I am supposed to be.

I authorize myself to be me and exist in this world.

I have the courage to speak my mind.

I am bold.

Calm settles.

Calm settles in.

Calm settles in when my courage kicks in.

I'm constantly reminded of my strengths.

I fully accept where I am and I am ready to see this opportunity to grow.

No matter what has been or will be,

My inner light cannot be extinguished.

I am clear on my purpose and what I give to the world.

I commit to stepping outside my comfort zone each day.

I am resilient and learn from my mistakes.

I have the courage to be exactly who I am supposed to be.

I authorize myself to be me and exist in this world.

I have the courage to speak my mind.

I am bold.

Calm settles in when my courage kicks in.

I am constantly reminded of my strengths.

I am clear on my purpose and what I give to the world.

I am confident and I am ready to see this opportunity to grow.

I invite you to take a deep,

Cleansing breath.

I invite you to open your eyes and bring awareness back into your body.

I thank you for taking part in this affirmation meditation.

I invite you to comment below how this went for you.

I am curious to know if some of you have noticed any imperfections or what you perceive as imperfections.

I invite you to share with me those sensations or emotions you felt during the affirmation.

There are lessons to be learned,

Emotions to be addressed,

When our perception of a certain situation or experience that you thought may go a certain way and did not.

I invite you to share that with me to have that discussion.

As each unique human being will feel differently.

Maybe some of you noticed,

Maybe some of you didn't notice.

There is emphasis on certain words to go talk to those parts of your mind that may need to be addressed.

I thank you and I have a lot of gratitude for you listening to me today and sharing with me how you feel about today's meditation.

And since today's meditation was about courage,

I had the courage to step out of my scripted meditation to experience courage at my core.

And I encourage you to experience your courage,

Whether by your comments below with the discussion we may have or expressing feelings that you may not have done in the past.

I invite you to think of something that you'd like to do or say,

Whether it's here now,

Later on.

Or maybe just to have that reflection on how to make courage more present in your life.

So once again,

Thank you.

Namaste.
