This is a guided body scan meditation. The pose for this meditation is called Shavasana. Lying straight in a comfortable relaxed state. Arms by the side of the body, palms facing upwards and feet relaxed. The guidance is given for your breath directing it to be mindful of your body in the present moment. Setting: Lie down on a yoga mat or a blanket with the least distractions. Make yourself comfortable with pillows and a blanket.

Lie down with your palms facing up,

Your hands by the side of your body,

Your legs straight and your feet relaxed.

As you breathe in and out,

You will follow my direction which body part you will be breathing in and out from.

We'll start by breathing in and out of your right toe.

Breathe in from your right toe,

Breathe out from your right toe.

Breathe in from the middle of your foot,

Right foot.

Breathe out from the middle of your right foot.

Breathe in from your right ankle,

Breathe out from your right ankle.

Breathe in from your right knee,

Breathe out from your right knee.

Breathe in from your right hip,

Breathe out from your right hip.

Breathe in from your left toe,

Breathe out from your left toe.

Breathe in from the center of your left foot,

Breathe out from the center of your left foot.

Breathe in from your left ankle,

Breathe out from your left ankle.

Breathe in from your left knee,

Breathe out from your left knee.

Breathe in from your left hip,

Breathe out from your left hip.

Breathe in from the center of your lower back,

Breathe out from the top of your head.

Breathe in from the center of your lower back,

Breathe out from the center of your head.

Breathe in from the base of your throat,

Breathe in from your left wrist,

Breathe in from your left shoulder,

Breathe in from the base of your throat,

Breathe out from the top of your head.

Breathe in from the point in between your eyebrows,

Your third eye,

Breathe out from the top of your head.

Breathe in from the top of your head,

Breathe out from the top of your head.

Take a deep breath that goes all the way down to your toes.

Take a deep breath that fills up your belly.

Take a deep breath and let it out through your mouth.

Feel your fingers and your toes.

Come back to the present moment and have a wonderful day.
