The intention of this practice is to get to a state where we can be at pure rest.

State where we are not reacting to the pressures of day to day life,

But with eternal happiness that exists in all of us.

To begin settle into a tall and upright position.

Ground yourself in a chair or sitting on the floor.

Feel yourself rooted in that place.

Let's take a moment to check our energy.

How are we feeling?

Do we feel restless from the day at work?

Do we still feel sleepy from the night before just waking up?

Take a moment just to acknowledge this.

Now take a deep breath and set the intention to direct your energy to this practice.

Give ourselves the permission to sit down and let go of the past,

The future,

Or any other stresses for the next few minutes.

We can dedicate ourselves completely to this practice.

Close your eyes.

Focus on the breath.

Let's CDO.

Tune into your senses.

What do you see?

What do you feel?

What do you hear?

The first step of this meditation is to be here in the moment.

Do not be living in our mental projections of the future or past.

Be here now.

Hear the noises around you.

If it's the bark of a dog,

The sound of a car,

The person moving next to you,

Be right here in this moment.

Remember we have given ourselves permission not to think about the past and the future.

Stay with the breath.

Breathing in,

Deep,

Breathing out.

We can only have one breath at a time.

Not the last breath.

Not the next breath.

Be here now.

It is okay if your mind brings up distractions.

Thoughts,

Memories,

Parts of your day may pop up that is okay.

Recognize them.

Acknowledge them.

And then put them aside.

Bringing yourself back to this moment.

Back to this breath.

All remind us tocommunuckle and sit back.

You you you Now we'll turn our meditation If you can try to withdraw from your senses You will hear noises and you will feel sensations Try and let them come and go without attachment keeping them in your breath Instead turn your focus in to your inner refuge the non reactive self the non reactive self who you really are who you really are when you're not reacting to the world around you in the quiet and in the peace your eternal self This is where your authentic and real happiness rests free from the cravings of the senses keeping with the breath you you you you now slowly bring ourselves back to the moment begin to feel the room around you come back to your senses wiggle your fingers and toes and that brings us to the end of our meditation feel free to bring this calming feeling to the rest of your day and remember you can return to your inner refuge at any time by closing your eyes feeling your senses and breathing deeply
