This three-minute Breathing Space is a mini-meditation for the purpose of stepping out of automatic pilot and reconnecting with the present moment experience. This practice can be very useful when negative thought patterns arise, attempting to push you into a downward spiral of emotional reactivity.

Inviting you to come and sit comfortable maybe you would like to check in the body by scanning noticing how your feet are touching the ground or your sit bones touching your chair or cushion or mat maybe you would like to adjust your posture important here that your spine is straight but at the same time at ease being comfortable shifting the awareness towards your thoughts noticing your own thoughts in this moment there is no need to change those thoughts or wanting to be different you are just noticing shifting the awareness towards the emotion noticing any emotions that you are feeling more present again there is no need to change those emotions you are just simply being aware of your own emotions witnessing your own emotions in this moment shifting the awareness towards the body noticing any areas in the body again there is no need to change those feelings of the body but you are just noticing,

Witnessing shifting the awareness towards the breath and maybe you feel the breath more present towards the nostrils noticing how the air is coming in and out or maybe you feel the breath more present towards the chest noticing the chest going up and down but what I would like you to do is to direct your attention towards the belly noticing the rising and falling of the belly simply being aware of breath coming in breath going out sending the awareness that you are sitting with your breathing upfront simply being aware of breath coming in breath going out anytime you u accompanied by yourself.
