In this practice, we let go and detach from what isn't serving us and what we don't have control over so we can ground ourselves and be more present with ourselves. This allows us to tune into our mind, body, and soul so we can truly give them what they need.

Let us practice letting go and detaching from all that is not serving us,

So we can be more present in the moment and present with ourselves.

While it is important to understand our emotions,

Why certain things impact us the way they do,

There are also times where we need to let go and detach,

So we can find some peace and clarity.

Find a comfortable position,

Either on a chair or sitting with your legs crossed.

Gently place your hands on your thighs,

Palms facing up,

And close your eyes.

Slowly begin to detach from all unwanted energies and emotions that you may be holding onto.

Detach from limiting beliefs,

Comparisons,

Worries,

And anxieties.

Detach from thoughts and opinions of others that cloud your own judgment.

Detach from situations you have no control over.

Detach from burdens you may be carrying that are not yours to carry.

Detach from outcomes and expectations you can't control.

Detach from all the noise.

Notice yourself completely detaching and feeling grounded in the present moment.

And as you do,

Place your hands on your heart space.

And simply notice your breath,

The in and out.

There is no need to make any changes to your breath or to judge.

Simply notice the natural pattern of the in and out.

Feel the cool air with each inhale and the warm air with each exhale.

Now take a moment and tune into your mind,

Body,

And soul and listen.

What do your mind and body and soul need today?

What can you do to fuel them?

Feeling in tune with your mind,

In tune with your body,

In tune with your soul,

And grounded in the moment,

You begin to slowly bring movement back into your fingers,

Wiggling your toes and gently opening your eyes.
