Practicing Self-Acceptance
Most of us identify with our conditioned mind, always struggling, fearful, feeling uneasy, and in conflict with ourselves and others. This is what we could consider to be an unhealed state, in that we are tightly identified with our emotional pain, our anxiety and our depression. Yet, there is a realm of inner stillness - of unconditioned awareness - from where all things that make life worth living arise - creativity, peace, aliveness, joy, and love, that are not dependent on external or internal conditions. When you rest unconditioned awareness, you can deepen your practice of self-acceptance.
