Welcome.

We're now going to connect to our future selves in this guided meditation with myself sharing Fitzmiles.

So I'd like you to take a seat or lay down and give yourself some time and space to really connect to allow and to be to getting comfortable wherever you are.

Knowing that you won't be disturbed for the next little while.

Allow yourself to become aware of your breath.

Be aware of this breath flowing in and out of your body.

Be very aware of that breath that you breathe in.

If it is shallow or deep.

If it is fast or slow.

Just notice the breath without changing it.

Allow the breath to be your anchor into your body and into your awareness.

Breathing in,

Holding the breath for a moment.

Breathing out,

Letting go.

Breathing in,

Holding the breath for a moment.

Breathing out,

Letting go.

Do it in your own rhythm.

Breathing in through the nose deeply and slowly.

Pausing,

Putting the breath for a moment or two.

And breathing out slowly and fully.

Notice what's happening in your body as you become more aware of your breathing.

Notice how the body feels more rested and it starts to relax.

Feel every muscle.

Noticing the stillness.

And in our awareness,

We become more aware of the muscles that are tight and tense.

Particularly around the shoulder and the neck and the back.

So you could imagine that you're breathing into these areas.

And as you breathe out,

You're giving them permission to let go of that tension and stress.

To let go,

To soften.

To feel the shoulders drop down.

To feel the muscles of the back relax.

To let go of the tension in the buttocks,

The hips and the hips.

To allow the calf muscles to relax.

Allowing the feet to fall apart if laying down.

And if sitting down,

To allow the ground beneath the feet to support them.

Feel all parts of your body being supported by the bed,

The floor or the chair beneath you now.

Use your breath to anchor you into this space fully.

Allow yourself to feel fully supported as the mind and body relax deeper and deeper.

Letting go of all distractions and bringing the awareness deeper and deeper within.

Using the breath as your anchor now and always.

Being aware of the space around you,

Of the noises.

Acknowledging them and accepting that there will always be distractions in life.

I allow myself with my breath to flow back into my own awareness,

Into my mind and my body.

And gently asking myself how I am feeling in this moment.

To think about where you are right now in your life.

How does that make you feel in your relationships,

Your family,

Friends?

As you bring a certain person or people to mind,

Maybe there are certain emotions coming to the surface.

Maybe there are certain issues unresolved.

Maybe there's conflict.

Just allow whatever you are feeling to be present without judgment.

Just accepting that it is there to teach and guide you.

And maybe in this challenge,

You've been unable to see your resolution because of your emotions.

Because of your old belief systems or passions.

And that's okay.

Because now you are aware of it.

Now you are aware that you have dealt with challenges in the past the same old way.

And sometimes it has resolved itself and sometimes it hasn't.

But you are here right now.

And in these moments,

Using our breath as the anchor,

We think of the best parts of our life.

We think of all that we are blessed with and grateful for.

Think about your life right now.

The people.

How they help your life.

How they love and encourage you.

There may be one or there may be many.

Maybe for some of you,

You don't believe there is any.

And it has just been yourself.

And that is okay too.

But maybe just stopping to think about it for a moment.

You will realize that there are people on the sidelines cheering you on.

They have encouraged you and they would like to support you.

Maybe you haven't allowed them to be fully present in your life.

Maybe you haven't opened up to them.

Use your breath as the anchor,

Coming back to yourself and the moment.

How you're feeling right now in yourself and in your life.

What your challenges are at this time.

Maybe it's to do with your lifestyle.

Your health issues.

How do you feel about your body?

What do you see when you look in the mirror?

How do you speak to yourself?

Do you love yourself?

Do you feel loved?

This space is a safe space to be true and honest with you.

With the reflection that you see every day.

Look at the suffering part of yourself.

What does it need?

What does it need right now?

Ask it of compassion.

Listen without judgment.

Simply acknowledging and accepting what that suffering part of yourself needs in this moment.

Maybe it's something that it has needed all of its life but has been afraid to speak out loud.

Simply listen now in the space of stillness,

Of compassion and empathy,

Of unconditional love.

Listen to the words that it cries out silently in your mind and in your heart.

Just listen.

And as you were listening,

You were listening to this part of yourself.

You feel a warm or a light pulling you from this suffering part of self.

And in your mind's eye,

It's like you're looking ahead in the distance down the road into the future.

And you see a figure in the distance waving at you.

And it's like the sun is in your eye.

You can't quite see it,

But it keeps catching your attention.

And your eyes are squinting to make out who it is.

So in your mind,

You flow up through this road out into the distance and you meet the most amazing,

Bright,

Strong,

Courageous,

And beautiful person that you have ever met in your life.

They exude confidence and self-belief.

They exude compassion and unconditional love.

Their energy is magnetic.

Their smile contagious.

And their eyes so bright and alive,

They're dancing as they move and as they speak.

They look fish and healthy.

They're full of life and full of joy.

And when you finally focus and really see this person,

You realize that it is you,

Your future self.

This future self has seen all your challenges and has made it through.

This future self is a wiser version of you.

And they are now here to help you and to let you know that you will make it through,

That there is a positive outcome,

That every day there is a little miracle,

That every day there is a blessing.

When you finally realize that you are the miracle,

You are the blessing in life,

That every morning as you arrive,

You open yourself up to all the beautiful new opportunities that each day has to offer,

That you are enough,

You are loved,

You are safe,

Strong,

And secure,

That abundance flows into your life,

In every area of your life.

You are the creation of your life.

See this future self.

See you,

Who you are becoming,

Who you want to be,

Who you are already but don't realize it yet.

Allow this future self to come closer now and to blend with your energy.

Feel the strength,

Feel this light,

Feel this confidence.

Feel what it's like to be the real and true you that came into this world powerful and with so much potential.

And your future self is showing you how to awaken that potential within you.

It's already there.

It always has been.

Let go of the layers of doubt,

Worry,

And fear now along your path.

Commit to being the best version of yourself.

You already are.

You just have to start believing it.

Feel the energy move through you and all around you.

Know now that you can face any challenge with the certainty that you've already come through it.
