Welcome to this chakra awareness meditation.
We are all energy and our chakras are the main receptors in our bodies and spread throughout our whole energy system.
Each chakra has its own vibrational frequency,
Colour and governs functions that help you.
The state of our chakras influence our mood,
Our health and our way of being.
So if you would like to increase your awareness and your energy,
We'll do this simple awareness visualization to help you connect,
Balance and align your energy.
So allow your body now to relax while you're sitting or laying down and close your eyes.
In your mind give yourself permission to be present,
To be aware and anything that comes up for you,
You won't judge or criticize.
You will just allow it to be.
So just connecting into your body now,
Be aware of how it feels.
Maybe you will have to make a slight adjustment,
Maybe you will feel some tension in the shoulders,
The neck or the back.
Just allow yourself to be supported using a pillow or a cushion and let the body rest in place.
Feel your back touching the chair or the bed.
Just be aware of any tension or stress that you feel as you begin to give yourself this space and this time.
And again not judging it or analysing it,
Just simply acknowledge it,
Accept that it's there and allow yourself to become still,
To just be more aware that you are mindfully present to what is happening in and around your body.
Now bring your attention to your breath and simply witness the breath flowing in and out,
Entering and leaving the body.
Just breathe it slowly and naturally,
Following the breath in and out of the body,
Allowing everything to slow down,
Allowing your mind and your body to relax.
And at any time if you feel distracted or uneasy,
Just bring your focus and attention back to your breath.
With every breath you allow the body again to become still.
There is no right or wrong way to do this,
We're just learning to become more aware of how we feel in each moment,
How our body feels and allowing it space and time to listen.
We're reconnecting with ourselves.
So bring your focus and attention now up to the top of your head and here is your crown chakra,
Purple in colour,
Our source of self-awareness and our connection with the universe.
Just allow yourself to focus on the top of your head,
Imagining or visualising that purple colour,
Just being present with it for a moment.
How does it feel?
What comes to mind?
And slowly now move your attention to your forehead and this is your third eye chakra,
Indigo in colour,
And it connects to your inner perspective,
Your source of intuition and self-knowledge.
So just allow yourself to be present with this indigo colour in the centre of your forehead and just be present with whatever you feel,
Sense or see.
And now bring your attention slowly down to your throat and this chakra is blue in colour and it connects to your own truth,
Your self-expression.
Just feel the energy in the throat chakra,
Imagining that blue colour and again what you feel or sense in this area.
And now we slowly move to the heart centre,
In the centre of our chest and imagine a soft green light inside your chest and this is the centre of all love.
Just bring your focus and attention into your heart,
Imagine you are breathing into the centre of this soft green light.
What do you feel or sense as you breathe in and as you let go?
And slowly we move our attention to our solar plexus chakra just below the ribcage.
This chakra is yellow in colour and connects you to your personal power,
How you feel about yourself right now in this moment.
Breathe in deeply to this yellow colour just below your ribcage,
Again allowing yourself to feel or sense what comes up for you in this moment,
Honouring whatever it is,
Just letting it flow without judgement and without analysing.
And gently now we move down to the sacral chakra just below your belly button and this chakra's colour is orange,
It connects to our sexuality,
Our creativity,
Our emotions.
So breathing into this orange colour just below your belly button,
Allowing yourself to sense or feel whatever arises for you at this moment.
Now gently we move down to the root or the base chakra at the base of the spine.
The colour here is red and it deals with our feelings of security and stability within the physical body,
Within our environment,
Within our situations right now.
Imagine you are breathing up into that beautiful red root chakra,
How do you feel right now?
How does it feel to be present within your own security and stability?
At this time just allow whatever comes up for you to be acknowledged,
Let it flow,
No need to force or control anything,
Breathing into the area.
Now I'd like you to imagine or just believe or feel or sense that all of these beautiful rainbow of colours are getting brighter and brighter within all of these areas.
In your body they're becoming stronger,
You're sensing and feeling them more within the body,
Just with the intention,
Focus on each area,
The crown,
That beautiful purple colour,
The forehead,
Third eye,
A vibrant indigo colour,
Your throat chakra,
That beautiful blue,
Your heart chakra,
The gorgeous green,
The solar plexus chakra just below your rib cage,
Sunshine yellow,
The sacral chakra just below your belly button,
The sun setting,
That vibrant orange,
That strong vibrant red,
Like a beautiful rose in bloom.
Just enjoy this colour expansion and energy within you and all around you and the more you practice,
The more you will become aware of which of these areas needs your attention a little bit more.
The more you practice,
The more you will learn to balance and align your energy,
Mind,
Body and soul.
You learn to reconnect with your true self,
You acknowledge and honour all aspects of you in this moment and in the next.
You learn to love and accept who you are right now.
Breathe in deeply,
Breathe in love,
Breathe in love and gratitude to yourself for this gift of time and space and allowing your mind,
Your body and your soul to thank you and the more you do it,
The more love and gratitude will flow.
