Hello and welcome to this moment in time where I invite you to take a moment and settle.
Settle into your body and settle into your space.
You might look around and see if there's anything that might provide you more comfort,
More support,
And you might even find moving your body to a different position feels better.
And as you settle into a more comfortable and supportive position wherever you are,
I want you to take a moment and just settle into your body.
And remember,
You are here now in this moment.
And what came before and what will come later are of no consequence right now.
So just notice what is here now in your body and give it a moment to express itself to you.
You may notice tension or comfort,
Tightness or ease.
You might notice sensations or emotions.
But whatever you notice,
Welcome it.
Say hello and let it know you see it.
You feel it.
You acknowledge it.
And now I'm going to invite you to take a few moments to look around and find something in your environment that brings you some comfort or enjoyment on a sensory level.
It might be something that you see or something you can feel with your hands.
It might be something that you can smell or hear or possibly even taste.
And as you find this object,
We're going to linger in awareness of this object.
Noticing what properties of this object are so wonderful to you in this moment.
Perhaps it's just the sensory experience that brings you enjoyment and pleasure.
Or perhaps there's some sentimental value attached to the object that you found.
And so take a moment and notice all of the different qualities of this object or thing in your environment that is enjoyable,
Pleasurable,
Supportive or comforting.
And with each component of this that you are aware of,
Offer gratitude.
Show appreciation in your body for this object or thing.
And as you're keeping this object in your awareness,
I'm going to invite you to tune into your body again.
And this time I'm going to encourage you to find some movement that feels good.
It may just be a wiggle of a finger or a toe or a small sway side to side.
Or you might find a full body stretch or reaching high above your head or out to the side and really lengthening your muscles.
Whatever it is,
Just enjoy that movement that your body is asking for.
And show some gratitude to your body for telling you what it needs and showing you how to meet that need.
And as you settle your body once again into stillness,
I want to invite you to notice the strength and the stability of your body.
Whether you're fully supported and relaxed,
Sitting upright or in some other position,
I encourage you to notice the potential in your body for strength and stability.
And just notice where you feel the most strength available to you right now.
And extend your gratitude and appreciation for that part.
And finally,
I want to encourage you to go inward into your body and notice what sensations from your belly,
Your chest,
Your throat,
And all the internal parts of your body have to say.
Because our bodies are quiet on the inside.
But if we take a moment,
We often can find something in there speaking to us,
However softly it may be.
And as you listen,
Whatever your body has to tell you,
Extend that gratitude and appreciation to that internal sensation.
Thank it for communicating with you about your needs,
Your feelings,
Your desires.
And once more,
Bring the object that you tuned into in your environment and connect your awareness of this object to a feeling within your body if you can.
And if you need to,
You may just notice an absence of a connection or of a feeling.
And that's okay too.
But whatever's there,
Just notice it,
Appreciate it,
And relax.
Our bodies are incredible and intelligent and have so much to tell us about the world around us and the world within.
And we can be thankful that our bodies have ways of communicating with us and informing the way we feel,
React,
And respond.
