Hello and welcome to your meditation for the luteal phase.
I wrote this meditation to remind myself of the things I needed to hear while my energy levels started lowering and the criticising thoughts started coming through.
So find a comfortable position,
Either laying down or seated,
And let's begin.
I am so proud of you for taking the time to be here.
I know how sometimes things can seem harder than they need to be.
Now is the time to disconnect from your worries and move into a place of ease.
Letting go of any external noise,
The thoughts of the day,
Tasks that need to be completed and bring your awareness to the breath.
As you breathe in,
Feel the breath enter through the nose,
Travel down the back of the throat and expand the torso.
Pause momentarily and then release out through the mouth,
Slowly and controlled.
Now let's do that three more times.
Breathing in,
Pausing at the top,
And then extending the exhale longer than the inhale.
Breathe in,
Allow the body to feel the full expansion of the inhale.
Long,
Slow,
Controlled exhale.
One more breath.
Noticing if the breath has allowed your body to feel a sense of calm wash over.
Maybe the shoulders have softened and the muscles on the face are less tense.
I really need you to know that you are so beautiful.
The way you show up in the world with so much strength and perseverance is admirable.
You don't have to be strong every day.
Today,
You can be soft,
Gentle,
Nurturing to your own soul.
You might be feeling a sense of unease and need to cry,
Sleep or eat.
Listen to these messages.
Your body is communicating with you.
Maybe you do need to eat,
Sleep or drink some water.
Your spirit is alive with love and compassion.
Remember,
This is only temporary,
So treasure this moment.
It's a beautiful place to be.
It might not feel that way,
But we are supposed to go through these cycles for a reason.
This is a time where we sit with our emotions,
Not the pretty ones.
It's where we can make time to activate the nurturing part of our soul.
We are the only ones who knows what's best for us.
Warm soup,
Lots of water and a big stretch.
The only strength needed today is to action these small steps for the body.
You are a priority.
Your body is moving through some changes that might create discomfort.
But just know you are so loved.
You are safe and you are protected.
Enjoy these moments of stillness together.
Taking a deep breath in,
Exhale out through the mouth.
Allow yourself to land back into your body,
Into the space.
Noticing any subtle shifts within the body or the mind.
And taking a moment now of gratitude for the body and everything that it does for you.
Your next breath in,
Allow that feeling of gratitude to flood through the entire body.
And see if you can hold on to that feeling as you move into the next part of your day.
You are exactly where you need to be in this moment.
You are beautiful.
You are perfect.
Your essence is needed in the world.
Closing off our time together with one last big round of breath.
