Hello,

This is Sharon.

Join me now for a soul breath meditation.

Take a cleansing breath in through your nose and out through your mouth,

Feeling rooted on mother earth,

This beautiful feminine energy at the soles of our feet.

You can do this meditation either laying down or seated,

But give yourself a little bit of time so that you can close your eyes and let me guide you throughout your body in this body scan meditation.

Breathing in and breathing out.

We're going to start focusing on our breath again at the center of our chest,

Our lungs,

As we inhale and we exhale so beautifully,

So rhythmically,

Feeling like your lungs are two balloons,

Inhale and exhale,

Inhale and exhale,

And a traditional Chinese medicine idea is put the tip of your tongue to the upper front palate.

Notice if you're making saliva.

If you're making saliva,

That means your body is in rest and digest.

That is what we're going for,

Soft and meditative and present,

Inhaling and exhaling,

Expanding those lungs,

Releasing any tension that we store there,

Feeling into our breath,

Inhale and exhale.

Feel all your body softening with your breath,

Inhaling and exhaling.

We're going to start with the heart,

The heart on the left side.

The element is fire,

The color is red.

So we visualize a little candle with a little flame in the center of our heart,

Warming our heart,

Softening our heart,

Breathing in and breathing out,

Letting go of any of the edges,

Making all of the heart function in a rhythmic,

Pulsing way with our breath and with our actual pulse,

Inhale and exhale.

And now I want you to notice a red circle on the fringes of your heart.

And you don't have to know the anatomy of the heart.

Just go on the fringes,

A circle,

Make an emoji of a heart in your mind's eye and go on the fringes,

Breathing in and breathing out.

We're making a little more space in our heart to feel a little more joy.

We're making a little room for any emotion that you are feeling.

Breathing in and breathing out,

Softening those edges,

Allowing you to feel whatever you're feeling today,

Honoring those emotions,

Breathing in and breathing out.

Feeling a little more settled,

A little more grounded in your body,

The warm fire radiates to your lungs,

Softening any metal that you feel clamped around your lungs,

Inhaling like two balloons,

Exhaling,

Breaking through any of that stagnation or metal.

Breathing in and breathing out.

We soften our lungs with our breath,

Allowing all the beautiful energy and oxygen to heal the inside of our lungs.

Inhale and exhale.

And then we notice the energy,

The red energy radiating around that heart center,

All the organs around the heart,

All the bones like our ribs and our sternum,

We make a cocoon of red around that middle Dantian region or that heart region.

Breathing in and breathing out.

And now we are on the Wei-Chi field,

That's the energy field around your whole body.

We're at the heart center location,

Breathing in and breathing out,

Softening the heart,

Softening the lungs,

The sternum,

The ribs,

The thymus gland,

Allowing so much more opening,

Allowing you to store any feelings that you are feeling,

Giving it a little more space so that you can breathe more freely,

So that you can be more open and clear and focused.

Breathing in and breathing out.

We notice the heart again,

We go back to the heart,

Softening the heartbeat,

Breathing in and breathing out,

Feeling a little more released,

A little more soft,

A little more calm.

That red joy radiates now to our throat to speak our authentic truth,

Then radiates to our cervical spine in the back.

As we inhale,

The spine expands like a spring,

A red spring,

Inhale,

Open,

Open,

Open all the vertebrae,

Pause,

Exhale,

Inhale,

Open,

Open,

Open all those vertebrae,

Exhale,

Softening your neck,

Releasing any tension that we store there.

The chi,

The red radiates now up to our face,

Noticing our face with a gentle smile on our face,

Breathing in and breathing out,

Noticing your entire face,

All the muscles relaxing,

The skin relaxing,

And a red glow,

Maybe like a pink,

Baby's pink glow on your face.

Bring a little more joy to your face,

To your jaw,

To inside your mouth,

Everything is relaxed,

Even your tongue,

Breathing in and breathing out.

The red radiates then through your face,

Up,

Then through your brain and your skull,

Up between your eyes is your third eye or the upper dantian,

Your area of inspiration,

Your creative center,

Radiating this beautiful joy,

Red fire to your brain,

Allowing your brain to soften,

To bring in creativity,

You radiate love to all parts of our brain,

You radiate joy as we inhale,

Open,

Open,

Open your brain and your mind's eye,

Exhale.

Then we notice a column of light radiating through our brain to the crown of our skull,

In traditional Chinese medicine that is called the Bai Wei point,

That column of light leaves your skull and radiates up to the soul star in the sky,

Softly radiating up that energy field above us,

Always there balancing our energy with Mother Earth.

The energy then rises to the beautiful sun,

Warming every part of our body,

Breathing in and breathing out that beautiful sun,

Warming Mother Earth so she can breathe,

So she can grow,

So she can heal.

And from that beautiful sun,

A rainbow of colors radiating down,

Showering down on both sides of our body,

The way she feels,

Rainbow of colors,

The red being the strongest,

Feeling joy,

Feeling connection to Mother Earth and to the sky,

This unconditional love at the soles of our feet.

We honor Mother Earth as this energy radiates down into Mother Earth,

Down deep into the core.

And then in an upside down heart pattern,

The energy radiates from Mother Earth up between our legs,

Up back into the trunk of our body,

Radiating out also to our hips and to our legs,

All that red joy,

Radiating to what we call the lower dantian,

All the organs of our belly,

The liver,

The gallbladder,

The stomach,

The spleen,

The intestines,

The kidneys and the back,

Radiating love and joy and red energy to all of those organs,

The reproductive organs by the pelvis,

All of those organs soften when we inhale and we exhale.

And we direct this beautiful red energy of joy from our heart,

From our self-compassion to any part that needs a little loving and attention at the heart below the horizon,

Breathing in and breathing out.

And we make a skirt of energy at the lower dantian or the heart below the horizon,

Holding space for any of those organs of the belly to release any stagnation or blockages,

Breathing in and breathing out,

Feeling a little more open,

A little more grounded.

The energy goes back in to our body at the belly space,

Behind the navel.

The energy rises then back to the heart center,

To the heart,

To the lungs.

And we take a long cleansing breath,

Inhale and exhale,

Releasing anything that no longer serves us.

Inhale and exhale.

And lastly,

We notice a cocoon of red joy around our whole body,

There,

Holding us,

Validating us,

Accepting us for who we are in this moment in time.

We are joy,

We are love.

Inhale and exhale.

And when you are ready,

Open your eyes and orient to the room.

Many blessings.

Thank you.
